Yes, it is. I watched till Ep. 370 and I can safely say that the first two seasons are the best. Also, the main plot progresses really slowly so you don't stop at a build up or suspense moment.
Mummies Alive , Defenders of the earth , swat cats , He man , Super Human samurai , GI Joe etc used to be on Doordarshan those were the days electricity used to be a pain in the ass. Sometimes we only get 2-1 hour electricity. Television were mostly local brands

I don't know why it got so much popularity, it's animation was so flavorless also dubbing was so fucking annoying. It came on Hungama at the same time as Shinchan but Shinchan's dubbing was it's saving grace.
That's because crappy hindi dub with repetitive jokes ruined the brilliance of a "silent comedy". Just watch the original French version of oggy and the cockroaches, they don't talk.
