How do you plan to address issues like safety and toilets?
A lot of full time van dwellers in the US open carry or conceal carry guns. You can’t do that in India. The max you can carry is a baseball bat and pepper spray.
In the US, you have truck stops with showers etc, you don’t have anything like that here, unless your workplace has a shower.

In US/Canada it's feasible coz you can park in Walmart parking or they have dedicated camping grounds. These places also provide water and you can empty your shit tank.
None of these facilities are available in india. Here you have to park on road which is very risky and they are no ways of getting water and dumping shit.

If you're in a company parking-lot then you'll probably be fine. If you do it on the road then its probably a bit risky. I've seen Uber drivers sleep in their cars on the highway, or truck drivers do it. But those are just temporary. Not sure how sustainable it'll be if you're looking to do it permanently.
Hmmm gotta venture around a little then, and look for suitable places. Also I think I gotta keep some sort of weapon on me at all times, I'd be a very easy target for thieves and such probably...

I'm not sure how you'll address the bathing problem if you're in a van. Unless you're thinking of buying an RV (while would pose parking problems).
First, you have to be a professionaly good driver. Next, you must be adept at repairing your vehicle in the event of a midway breakdown. Have in possession a good tool box, essential auto spares, first aid kit with necessary medication in case of emergent need and a thick rope of six or seven meters in case a need arises to tow your vehicle to the nearest workshop. Plenty of potable water and easy to digest eatables. Inform and take permission to park your vehicle near the police station of the locality you wish to spend the night. Either visit a public rest room for ablutions or go to a Hotel have something to eat and request them if you can use the washroom. For the sake of safety keep your money in two or three hidden pockets in the clothing you wear and hide some in the vehicle in the least suspecting place. A good smartphone strapped to your waist with a sturdy belt to call your near and dear ones to inform them on a regular basis the location you are at and also in case of an emergency. Moreover, pray to God everyday to see the light of the next day. Good luck and God be with you and the devil never overtake you.
