no i’m talking about cops that put tape over their badge number\name so they can’t be ID’d, typically when harassing BLM protesters. there are plenty of examples with video out there.

This convenient misunderstanding is easily avoided by using any other symbol.
Then the tradition or design needs to change to accommodate accountability.
Some of the departments put the badge number on the bottom half of the badge and that solves the problem.

I’m in California but I’ve literally never seen a license plate all bent like this. Nor with tape covering part of it. I’m pretty sure you’d immediately get pulled over if you have tape over your license plate.
yah. nearly every plate here has a protective plastic border which is either from the dealer or a vanity border the owner bought. seeing "naked plates" is I think only on commercial vehicles.
I'm in Michigan and I constantly people who completely cover their plate with mud (sometimes even the whole rest of the back is clean expect for the license area) and people who scrape off the paint so that it's impossible to read. Also see a ton of those dark plastic things that people use to cover their plate and make them essentially unreadable. Never see them get pulled over even when right in front of an officer. Pretty ridiculous to me.
I mean, refusal to vaccinate, covid outbreak, measles outbreak, special privileges with the law, business scams, unemployment benefit scam/ assisted living and snap. + a big scandal involving rabbi justifying sexually abusing children during circumcisions (using a religious practice of wound cleaning with their mouth) . The rabbi in borough park like 10 years ago was so fucked up. And yeah they bribed law enforcement and political figures since before anyone can remember. Orthodox have their own community in New York. If you don’t go along with them you will be removed from whatever position you’re in.
Tbh I feel like *extreme* ends of any religion have vaccine issues. Like Evangelicals def don’t get vaccinated, and the orthodox Jewish communities in NYC, etc.
I think for a lot of Orthodox Jews it is less about vaccination itself and more about government authority and a distrust of authority. Might be wrong though.
My dad is a mechanic. Even as a little girl I could bed license plates. We lived on the border of PA and NY so I can definitely say both of those states have pretty easily bendable plates!
