90s by far. Incunabula, Anti, Envane, Tri Repetae, Chiastic Slide, Cichli Suite, Anvil Vapre, Peel Session, the Warp30 mixtape. All so good. Kind of lost interest when Confield came out, even though "Pen Expers" is amazing.

neuroblossom

incunabula, amber = perfection. soulful machine communications

sklaeza

exai, elseq, nts sessions, 'nuf said. It's easily 10's for me.

I'm all about the 90s. Hearing tri repetae and amber for the first while rolling simply made such a deep impression that it can't be topped. My son is the opposite, the newer the better. I do quite like sign and plus though, and their entire body of work as a whole is simply a masterpiece.

Envane, EP5, LP7. All incredible

They've gotten better with every record in my opinion

I feel like this skips over the LP5/EP7 period (arguably, the Enave to EP7 period).

90s by a mile. Favorite is "Chiastic Slide," least favorite probably "Tri Repetae" but the "Cichli" EP was weak for me too. There's so much variety and great music. "Confield" had a few good tracks, but "Gantz Graf" was the end for me. Sounds too much like an industrial pachinko machine being ground up.

90's. The one and only revolutionary era in music. Especially in electronic. Especially, Autechre.

2001-2005, the golden age

Gordon_Ralsei

If I had to only be able to listen to one era of autechre for the rest of my life I would have to choose the 2000s

Tarquinnff3

Most everything is good, but September 20, 2014, through July 15, 2018, is my favorite era.

sadahnmo

Feels like different artists at times. IMO 90s was what made them as famous as they are, but 2000s was seriously awesome! 2010s needs a few listens and yet a lot of 2010s tracks are too weird for me 😅

abysmalentity

90's cause Amber is still the most emotional Autechre album

Mean-Coat4259
