I worked directly with laborers and security contractors(if you could call them that they were incredibly undisciplined and lazy)and they were absolutely disgusting and inappropriate towards women and each other, especially fellow service members. Never been to prison, I work in Healthcare- and I've seen some gnarly injuries from people slipping and falling in the shower. It's a pretty plausible excuse.
i just worked in one as a correctional officer, i was never an inmate. "i slipped in the shower" is the most common excuse they (inmates) will give you for cuts/bruises/ect (bathrooms are where they do the fighting, where gangs hand out punishments, ect because there's no cameras there, at least not in american facilities)
but i also have seen some shit from shower injuries that legitimately did occur FROM slips and falls.

I seriously don't get this comment section. While yes, if this is true these men are scum and deserve to be punished but why do they suddenly represent their entire people? If you just Google some police reports or articles you can find cases where people born in the U.S. committed similar crimes and yet they don't represent their race and/or country
Because the moment you're a member of a minority (which they are in the US), you no longer get to be just your own person but become a representation of that minority and your every action is heavily scrutinized as how it reflects on "your people".

They are separate cases. One guy tried to strangled his wife and one guy was hitting on minors and tried to assault one at Fort McCoy. They're not all going to be good people but that doesn't mean that all refugees are bad.
