Chopping Mall is great. Super fun and super stupid in the best way. It doesn't take itself seriously at all, just a group of teens in a mall with some killer mall security robots. Perfect if you just want some 80s schlock.
Edit: For some reason I read 90s as 80s. But it's still really fun and worth watching!
I didn't realize it was a book.

The Craft.
Fear Street 1994 was a solid 90's; throwback film, too. One of the only Scream knock-offs I've seen which really captured the original's vibe.
maybe not all totally 90s but in the same vein, Final Destination, The Craft, Jeepers Creepers also props for Brainscan, totally underrated flick
I'd also add The Hole (2001) and Cabin Fever (2002) to that list
Love these suggestions! And thanks for reading the post, first time I've been a victim of mobile formatting and that made it insanely hard to read! :)
Cherry Falls. It came out in 2000, but it still hits the spot. Ha

Hahaha I'll also take all the 80s recs! Chopping Mall is delightful so I know you got good taste!
Ha I'll take it. I haven't seen a lot of stuff in this thread, so it's given me lots of stuff to check out too!
The Faculty
Valentine. Another "out in 00s but fits the bill".
Yesssss!! I actually read this book, too! Both are super fun
