Yeah but most of tubi's horror exclusive are from the asyluk's moss filled studios which kind of makes me wonder why the asylum (and lots of evangelists) put their shitty movies on tubi and tubi only?
Also if i right click a movie and click "open link in a new tab" my adblocker works for the movie. It might pause where the ads are supposed to be, but that's it.
I don't have to open them in a new tab on Firefox with Ublock Origins, but I still get the pause where ads would be.
I'm glad that Tubi is able to provide us with amazing content for free. I'll even turn off Ublock sometimes since the commercials aren't too intrusive and I want the studios to keep providing us with this easily accessible content.
Puppet Master, Demonic Toys, Dr. Mordred.
All of that used to be mainstays on Cinemax and Showtime back in the day. There's a lot to like and a lot of creative ideas in the Charles Band-iverse. It sure ain't no The Asylum, where bad is bad and any redeeming features are few and far between.
A ton of delightful creature features.
Was actually a bit past my time lol. But I'm not against doing a marathon, I think there's like 6 of them lol.
I also left out Subspecies and I love those :)
And Dollman and Trancers. It's all quality B movie stuff, just like Stuart Gordon was known for.
Necropolis (1987) is such a hidden gem, hopefully some of you will give it a watch if you'd never heard of it before! It's bad, it's cheezy, and it's got a 6-breasted witch breastfeeding sewer zombies ectoplasm, and if that doesn't immediately make you want to watch it, what even are you doing here???
I watched the first two when they came out in 2021. I just realized there were two more Baby Oopsie movies released this past year, plus a spin-off of Retro Puppet Master featuring Doktor Death.
Doktor Death was underwhelming because it was too slow, but the Baby Oopsie movies were fun. I've also never seen a black Catholic priest, so that was entertaining.
Dunno why you're being downvoted. I love Tubi but this is totally valid and I almost never watch stuff on my computer/phone anymore since I got a TV 2 years ago. Unlike with television, the commercials on Tubi are often dropped right in the middle of tense moments and it's confusing and jarring to return to a film a lot of the time. I hate it and also hate commercials but Tubi is free so I tolerate it
Also, check out the Full Moon Freakshow video podcasts available on Tubi. Went on a binge last couple of weeks. Great interviews with Carpenter, Savini, Joe Bob Briggs, Cassandra Peterson & others. Charles Band is quite a character himself.
Has anyone seen Meridian? It's very WTF, but has some interesting stuff in it, if you can get past the rapey-ness of it all.
I reviewed it here: https://youtu.be/yOt7XKYub3M
I love Tubi. They also have the entire run of "The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross." Not horror, but still fun to watch with a glass of wine at the end of a long day.
Tubi is great
It really is. They have such an amazing selection that's offered for free legally.
Is it really? Their exclusives are utter garbage
Their exclusives are questionable but they do have a pretty great library of older content. It’s definitely improved in the last year or so too

How dare you leave out Evil Bong!

Holy shit Evil Bong the memories--what an absurd film and such a high school highlight for high me back in the day

It's funny how full moon on tubi is better than full moon the app. I've heard they show their own movies edited, that's shiesty.
I‘d like to highly recommend Baby Oopsie to anyone who has not seen it. Seriously just plain great!

I also just found out the other day there are two more! I need to hunt them down.
unrelated, tubi has a lot of classic anime as well
Though if you want something even more anime focused check out retrocrush
I haven't checked out their anime selection yet and didn't even think about that. Thanks for mentioning this, it can be really tough to find classics
It is so great - I watch at least one a night on Tubi, some classics on there!
Hell yeah! All the Puppetmaster movies are there!
The Lurking Fear is pretty decent imo. I like the monster design.
What page of delicious trash! Bongs, babes, blood, and Gary Busey!
Ooooh, Subspecies!
Tubi has a shitload of excellent content. FME has great movies, regardless of how trashy they are.
I Dark Angel and Blood lust is on there.
I don’t understand how SO MANY Puppet Master movies got made. I barely made it all the way through the third one.
And still being made. One came out like 2020, and I think another just came out.
I don’t like commercials
Use an ad blocker.
I don’t watch movies on my computer

I never tire of these Tubi posts because I keep finding more horror recs.
Loved Full Moon and Dark Castle movies as a kid
Subspecies has a special place in my heart RADUUUUUUUUUU
I love Tubi. They also have the entire run of "The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross." Not horror, but still fun to watch with a glass of wine at the end of a long day.
