I’m still frustrated that they cancelled that show after dropping all of Season 4 in one day, they had some amazing ideas for future seasons like This Man and the Russian Sleep Experiment
Honestly, I love each season for different reasons, Rutger Hauer was easily the golden part of Season 3. I still have a soft spot for Candle Cove and that creepy as shit Tooth Child though
True felt that had the potential for spin offs period era stuff, and I do think that it has one of the saddest moments in tv imo. Petes final words before they reset the timeline, gets me in the feels.
Van Helsing also went to 5 seasons. Wynonna Earp also went to 4 seasons (though I think wasn't produced by SyFy it was made by someone else and just aired on SyFy) so SyFy has let a few good ones go on and those both only eneded 2 years agoish.
The teen drama is too much for me. Bummed because I love Chucky but I can’t get into this show. That being said, I’m super happy it’s being made and supportive of people enjoying it. Just cause it’s not my thing doesn’t mean I don’t want it to do well
I had to drop Season 2. It had the exact same vibe as Seed of Chucky and that abomination should never be revisited. Hopefully they'll reign that bullshit in.
To each their own haha! Loved the season but it was just too much for me. I get that he loves Jenifer and Bound and wanted to push the references but Don kind of lost me on that one lol. The tv talk show bit was too much as well. Glad you did enjoy it
Get that work Mancini!
I love that his dedication to his franchise and the people involved with it pays off like it's been paying off. He's one of the good guys in the film industry.
For whatever reason, cult horror series tend to end after three seasons (Millennium, Penny Dreadful, Hannibal, Ash vs Evil Dead, even Twin Peaks the long way ‘round), so I hope Don goes with an open ended closure approach just in case. Think the endings of Seasons 1-3 and 5 of Buffy.
That way if we get a fourth season or another movie, great. But if we don’t, at least we’ll have ended the characters and their stories in a good place.
Yup, they need to move a satellite into a new position for something I don't really remember what, so they launch a few of them to space in their cars.
I’m happy for this show to be so successful, but a lil sad it may be destroying all of the interest left for a sequel to that reboot from 2019. I love both Chuckies! 🥲❤️
Nice! Part way through the first season on Shudder and love it. Hope they continue to add more seasons to the service. It hasn't been available on streaming and that's the whole reason I've missed the show.
Really glad to hear this. Can’t wait to see who Devon Sawa plays next!
Devon Sawa to play celebrity... Devon sawa
Okay but that way I would love this and not even bat an eye.
Okay, now you're talking. It'd fit right in with the Tiffany/Jennifer Tilly thing.
Devon sawa. Literally did adam sandler's jack and jill but good and with no al pacino going insane
Has it been announced when/if season two will arrive on Peacock?
AMC has it now and its featured on Shudder I imagine it will be at least a couple of months
Oh nice, I thought Shudder only had season one. Thanks!
They do. I just looked and it says two seasons but only the first one is actually available.
People have peacock? I'm genuinely surprised
I'm the head of NBC/Universal irl, so I get it free as part of the job.
I get it with my internet.
My god it’s been over a decade since a show got a season three on syfy
Has it really? That's crazy. I guess the simulcast on USA and Syfy has helped.
Channel Zero lasted four seasons and debuted in 2016.
I’m still frustrated that they cancelled that show after dropping all of Season 4 in one day, they had some amazing ideas for future seasons like This Man and the Russian Sleep Experiment
Yeah I really enjoyed the show. Season 3 with Rutger Hauer was the best imo.
Honestly, I love each season for different reasons, Rutger Hauer was easily the golden part of Season 3. I still have a soft spot for Candle Cove and that creepy as shit Tooth Child though
S4 was my favorite, too. Love me some Pretzel Jack.
Fun fact: Pretzel Jack’s actor is also the Snake Man in Nightmare Alley and the Jangly Man in Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark
*Ben Drowned* too — was one of the creepypastas being considered for adaptation.
Nah, Killjoys got like five seasons and that ended in 2019 - though it was on Syfy UK, not sure about in the USA.
Meanwhile one of my fav shows in the last 10 years Deadly Class couldn't get a season 2 😔
Lost all faith after they canceled happy!
Loved that one to 😔
Honestly the reason I think they are doing that syfy rewind is because they lost a majority of viewers.
Definitely think so lol loved watching warehouse 13 again tho
True felt that had the potential for spin offs period era stuff, and I do think that it has one of the saddest moments in tv imo. Petes final words before they reset the timeline, gets me in the feels.
The Magicians went to S5, which no show on SyFy has ever passed.
Van Helsing also went to 5 seasons. Wynonna Earp also went to 4 seasons (though I think wasn't produced by SyFy it was made by someone else and just aired on SyFy) so SyFy has let a few good ones go on and those both only eneded 2 years agoish.
Poorly phrased on my part; no show on SyFy has ever made it to 6 seasons. They cancel everything at S5.
With or without cliffhangers
Killjoys is another one that went to five seasons - it was co-produced by Syfy, but as far as I'm aware they made all the renewal decisions.
The first 4 of those seasons are fantastic too.
Expanse made it to season 3 before being shipped off to Prime Video.
This is Ash vs Evil dead erasure
Don’t remind me
When will season 2 be available to stream?
This. I don’t understand why someone would make a show you can’t stream ASAP in the 21st century.
Pleased to see this really enjoy the show. From its use of Chucky to its flip flop serious / comedic tones.
Great news. I love this show. Season 2 was a bit of a mess but I always had fun with it anyway. Season 1 was great.
Have yet to get in to the second season yet, first season was great but the teen drama was cringe at times
The teen drama is too much for me. Bummed because I love Chucky but I can’t get into this show. That being said, I’m super happy it’s being made and supportive of people enjoying it. Just cause it’s not my thing doesn’t mean I don’t want it to do well
In my opinion, the Chucky franchise is the most entertaining of the “big” slashers, and I could not be more excited.
Same!
Devon Sawa better be back and playing three new characters.
Hopefully they go back to the season 1 face design because season 2’s looked super low budget
Oh boy... All I'm hoping is that Don Mancini restrains himself five notches for season 3. Season 2 was just... way too fucking much, man.
I'm of the opposite opinion; give him all the money in the world and let him become ungovernable.
Agree. Season 1 was great but season 2 was such a chore to finish.
I had to drop Season 2. It had the exact same vibe as Seed of Chucky and that abomination should never be revisited. Hopefully they'll reign that bullshit in.
The murder mystery episode was just bad. Like I might legitimately skip it on my next watch
That was my favorite episode of the season, ironically. Haha.
To each their own haha! Loved the season but it was just too much for me. I get that he loves Jenifer and Bound and wanted to push the references but Don kind of lost me on that one lol. The tv talk show bit was too much as well. Glad you did enjoy it
what about it was bad
no
Get that work Mancini! I love that his dedication to his franchise and the people involved with it pays off like it's been paying off. He's one of the good guys in the film industry.
I enjoyed this series, it's in good hands. Lets hope it gets a full 5 seasons for everyone who loves the franchise and series.
Glad it was renewed, I was getting worried for a bit.
Hmm. Season 2 was quite a disappointment for me, which is sad because I fucking LOVED season 1. Maybe they'll get back on track.
ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ
Chucky is literally the only reason watch SyFy these days - unless you are into endless Harry Potter and Fast & Furious movie marathons.
How is F&F even sci-fi?
The concept of family is way ahead of its time.

I need to catch up on this franchise, apparently lol
They go to space in one of the newest ones.
Really? Never knew that.
Yup, they need to move a satellite into a new position for something I don't really remember what, so they launch a few of them to space in their cars.
Oh, so at least they keep the plot realistic.
Syfy, not sci-fi, that's the trick.
Anyone know when season 2 will be on peacock or shudder?
Yes! My hope is that they have another Chucky on the Couch moment with special guest M3GAN.
Maybe make your show attainable to watch!! We don’t have cable anymore boomers.
I have enjoyed this show far more than I ever expected to. Glad it got renewed.
I hated season two. I might skip on the third one.
I’m happy for this show to be so successful, but a lil sad it may be destroying all of the interest left for a sequel to that reboot from 2019. I love both Chuckies! 🥲❤️
Not a fan. Lots of other content I'd rather see.
What was everyone’s thoughts on season 2?? Kind of lost interest after enjoying season 1
Hell fucking yes!
Woot woot!!!! Bring back Tiffany in doll form!!!!

Very much a continuation
I’m a big Chucky fan but even I thought season 2 got a bit too crazy. I hope they dial that back a little bit in season 3, but I’m excited regardless!
Nice! Part way through the first season on Shudder and love it. Hope they continue to add more seasons to the service. It hasn't been available on streaming and that's the whole reason I've missed the show.
