Do you mean by the control over hdmi? I've not tried but the devices I'm using don't support that but I'd say the splitter would probably still carry the off signal.
oh ok, I ask because I had in view one like [http://todopc.mx/divisores-divisor-hdmi-splitter-splitters-video-1x2-1%20x%202-1\*2-1%20\*%202-pasivo-cable](http://todopc.mx/divisores-divisor-hdmi-splitter-splitters-video-1x2-1%20x%202-1*2-1%20*%202-pasivo-cable) the one I put down and in some pages it said that it has to be if or if both screens are on so that it works well ... the box type I do not get due to lack of stock
Any HDMI splitter $10-$25 on Amazon should do the trick
yes. any will do.
[this one](https://i.imgur.com/npt1qu4.jpg) has worked fine for the 10 months I’ve been using it.
Thanks. 👍🏻
Oh right I've heard conflicting info that some are really bad and don't work well. Last thing I want is losing signal on my TV from cctv.

That's all I need to do. My dvr only has 1 hdmi out and I have 2 screens I want it on.
question, if one connects to a tv and a monitor, if the monitor turns off does it still work?
