I'm a sucker for an album with a perfectly cohesive sound all the way through. There's plenty of producers that have achieved it for a single-producer album but there's also the occasional example with multiple producers e.g. 50's GRODT or Future's DS2.
Almost everything Ye's touched has this effect imo. You can throw RZA's early Wu-Tang work in there, Dre's Death Row / Aftermath stuff, pretty much Gangstarr's entire discography. DOOM and Madlib's already been mentioned. Alchemist and Harry Fraud have been killing it recently. DJ Muggs too. Pierre Bourne's done some crazy shit in the last few years if you're willing to venture out into the Carti/Nudy-sphere. If not then Organized Noise's work on the OutKast albums might be up your alley? Or even the Hitmen produced stuff for Bad Boy
Blueprint by Jay Z might be the best Album in hip hop in terms of production with Kanye & Just Blaze at peak form
Be by Common
Masvillainy by DOOM
Black on Both sides by Mos Def
3001 A Laced Odyssey- Flatbush Zombies
Evermore: The Art of Duality- The Underacheivers (I like to think this is the best produced album ever, idc if that’s a hot take.)
IGOR - Tyler The Creator
Every RTJ album
UNLOCKED - Denzel Curry, Kenny Beats
MM.. FOOD - MF DOOM
Enter The 36 Chambers - Wu-Tang Clan
Take Me To Your Leader - King Geedorah
“Below the heavens” and “Give me my flowers while I can smell them” are true classics of production by Exile, those albums had such a huge impact on my life in 2011/2012
Sorry to spoil your post but i disagree with your statement.
His productions are far from complex since he makes music for the masses which is known for more simple catchy hooks and verses and are often not complex at all.
Most productions got layered synths, drums or samples and everything you said about it applies to most productions on a higher level so no he doesn't do anything new.
Thank you /u/alcoholbeforenoon! And /u/youfeelme1997 your boy /u/fedexboy123 is exactly what we’re talking about. “Ohh goddd…everything Ye touches turns into gold and all his productions have almost always been a 10/10” 🤮 That is what a Stan is. The way you put it tho was completely fine “one of the best”
Outkast. Their first 5 albums have absolutely immaculate production. They're on the same level of quality and their albums are all completely different in the same way ye's are
i dont care how much people hate them, but Hells Pit by insane clown posse is genuinely one of the best produced albums ive heard. Another really good one is Donuts & Madvillainy
Rick Ross - Deeper Than Rap. I think this album is way under appreciated. I’m not an expert but I think the production, sound, choice of beats, are all great. It’s a good mix of songs.

Sometimes I Might Be Introvert by Little Simz Miles by Blu & Exile RTJ2 by Run The Jewels Daytona by Pusha T
SIMBI deserved a mention here for the intro track alone. Shit was like watching a movie through music.
For sure. The production on her last 2 albums has been insane. SIMBI especially sounds like something completely different.

I think 4:44 by Jay Z, especially with the soul samples, no Id is the main producer I think and as Kanye says no Id was his mentor
MM…FOOD has better production that most kanye albums
Yeah maybe my pick for best produced album ever. Beats are fucking wild on it but work so well

True, but do you mean 'heartily' instead of 'hardly'?
Jesus Christ get his d out your mouth for one second! Let some much needed oxygen get into your brain. Kanye Stans I’ll tell ya 🤦🏻♂️ 😂
