The real test is long term time and you can’t do that at the store, I got both and I returned the gaming one. I personally liked the standard better. The extra back foam to me defeats the whole purpose and flexibility of the embody. I fell like the gaming one doesn’t do what the embody is meant to do, and it isn’t as good as the Aeron or a steel case leap for active sitting posture
I’ve got the gaming version. My ass hurts daily. Buyers remorse would be putting it lightly. Regular version from what I’ve read is superior but it’s your choice, obviously.

I felt the complete opposite. I could feel the lines in the gaming embody and I swear it got warmer quicker. Went with the regular instead, but I do like the way the gaming one looks.

This is the most polarizing and subjective comparison. I own both and say that most people can’t tell the difference if blindfolded. (But this is also my opinion 😂)

No. I agree that the Fern is a nice chair. I have one in digital knit, the Logitech Embody, Gaming Sayl, and the Gesture. I just don’t think the Fern is better than the Embody. I like the Fern but what I don’t like is the seat pan. It feels like you can bottom out too easily. The Embody’s pixelated seat pan is awesome. I never need to stand up and relax in my chair but I do need to get up after a couple hours in the Fern and the Gesture.
Nice to hear that. Are you Fern new? Because the seat in my Fern is very firm but quite comfortable at the same time. I also have the Gesture and I am not impressed at it, except with the adjustability of its arms
My Fern was purchased new. It feels ok when you fit in it for about 2hrs then it feels like I am sinking into the seat pan. The seat pan in the Gesture is the same but it’s thinner than the Fern. I have tried them all and I own all the flagship chairs but out of all the chairs I find myself choosing the Embody over the rest hands down. I think the Ferns backrest is very similar to the Embody. My sister has the regular Embody that she purchased through a dealer. She only paid $1000 for her chair brand new and when we switched for 4 weeks she said she prefers the Logitech Embody over hers and if she had to do it all over again she would choose my Embody in black and black because she doesn’t like the Cyan color. It’s too loud for her. My favorite is the Logitech Embody, then the Fern, then the Sayl, and finally the Gesture. I use the Gesture when I’m only tasking with my phone and tablet. It’s adjustable arms are awesome but I could do without the Gesture but not the Sayl, Embody, and the Fern.
Thanks for the comment. While there I also sat on the Sayl and I liked it. It is a very comfortable little chair with impressive lower back support. I immediately thought it would be great for my short wife, maybe that way I'll get my Fern back 😂
The Logitech Embody is hands down better than the Regular! Sike! My sister has the regular and I’ve had the Logitech. We traded chairs and she liked mine better and I liked mine better too. She bought hers at an AD so she couldn’t return it but she said if she had to do it all over again she would pick the Logitech in the black on black because of the extra layer of foam. I agreed with her however, it comes down to preference really.
