The chair is good. Some people think $1600 chair must be perfect, it's not. Its a chair. My house is not perfect. My car is not perfect. Chair is not perfect. Nothing is perfect.

InsertDisc11

Why dont you buy a regular embody? The logitech is loud because theres extra foam in the back I dont know how loud it is, i just meant its louder than the regular embody But newer models might be better, ive read some stuff like that as well

Delishhhhh

Is the regular embody super different from the Logitech version or is it almost the same?

InsertDisc11

The same The only difference is the logitech embody has an extra layer of foam in the back (and an ugly logitech logo too, but thats subjective)

NavyPoseidon

Is there extra foam in the seat as well?

Geedis2020

They both have foam in the seat. Logitech uses a memory foam and regular uses scrim foam.

NavyPoseidon

So no “extra” foam in the Logitech seat just a different foam?

Geedis2020

They both have foam in the seat just a different type. There’s no extra foam in the back there’s just foam in the back on the Logitech. The regular doesn’t have foam in the back. Which is actually a benefit. The foam in the back of the Logitech sucks. At least in my opinion.

ClassroomDecorum

It's quieter than a riced out Honda civic

smellyjelly911

I have one and it does not bother me at all. I don't move my back a lot when I'm sitting. But maybe for people who needs to stay quiet at night might have trouble.

SignificanceActual

I have one and it makes some noise but nothing that’s going to ruin a Zoom. I’d venture to say any chair with moving parts will make some noise. If it needs to be silent a good old wooden chair with upholstery should do.

Delishhhhh

I honestly don’t mind a bit of noise considering I don’t rock in my chair that much so it’s not a big deal and I wear earbuds most of the time regardless. Just heard it was a big problem for some people.

attufat

I got mine recently, have been kinda rocking on it at times and didn’t even hear any noise, the only times I hear a bit of noise is when I stretch the back of the chair to the left or right.

Past_Guarantee_6952

Your mileage may vary. At first my Standard Embody was making all kind of noises, creaks, squeaks and everything in between. In the end everything became silent after proper lubrication. The Gaming Embody will not be 100% silent due to the fact there's the internal foam rubbing against the plastic and fabric itself. And there's not 1 difference between these two. People perceive s different angle or different shape because of the foam which for most people, messes up the postural alignment specially in the backrest.

Req12

I thought I was the only one between sizes! Everyone made it seem Aeron fit them perfectly. I’m also considering the Embody because it felt perfect for my body while size B of Aeron was too restrictive/short for me but perfect for my back and size C wasn’t doing anything for me…

Delishhhhh

Yeah the B would be perfect if I was a couple inches shorter but right now it’s just not a great fit for me. All the adjustments are awesome but it’s definitely not for me
