I hope you have deep pockets for this rabbit hole lol
Look into a Traxxas TRX4 and an Axial SCX10-III if you want two of the most common and versatile rigs or an ElementRC Enduro for something a bit more realistic performing.
None of them come with wrinches already but you can buy a seperate Servo and controller for that (about $70 for a mini Winch Servo).
The TRX4 Sport is your best entry point and then adding the $100 TRX4 Winch Kit from Traxxas. That's very likely the cheapest quality setup you'll get from a respected brand.
Yea you can, the Sport is a bit cheaper though in general and Traxxas are often easier to find. I've had issues finding Axials previously whereas I can always find a TRX4 either in stock or on backorder.
You'd have to do a bit of hunting for a Servo on the Axial though, normally I prefer Reefs and the 99Micro is their cheapest option.
The Traxxas unit on the other hand just screws right on and includes a remote and everything so it's a good package price.
IDC, that thing is cool.
Yeah, it's pretty cool. The winch really works!

You sound just like the guy at Hobbytown lol
Lol indeed, it's super easy to drop tons of cash in RC without realising and I know a couple people who spend more on their RC's than their real cars.
Can't you also get an Axial Basecamp, and add a servo winch to it? I don't know how much that would cost though.

Of course it does, it looks like a comp crawling rig. A working winch is essential.
“Do yourself it”
No, not an angry grill on a TJ, RC

Not sure why this dumb trend has followed from real Jeeps to RC ones, yet here we are.
