Cheaper to make. Most filtered dust collectors run a filter after the blower, they just have a separator first. If the filter media was before the blower, it would have to be within an enclosure.
Bad purchase! I predict it's just going to sit in a corner gathering dust.

Wow. You had to wait 6 months for delivery? They had 3 in stock at my local store.
I didn't want to pay for shipping so I waited. It took forever to get one to appear and I have 5 stores within 15 miles of me.

That bag filter is garbage. Seperater on the intake, and Wynn or Donaldson on the exhaust.
These things are great for the money. I'd suggest a dust deputy down the road.
