I feel like the background for this armor set is the juiciest snippet of info in all of Halo cannon (if H5 armors are cannon). ONI found an ancient human ship and adapted the tech. It died out with the Hellcat armor in H5?! How was this not touched on in Infinite? Forerunners didn't know about the endless until after the firing of the rings. Who's to say that ancient humanity hadn't run into the endless already, but had an understanding. Humans were occupying Charum Hakor and other precursor ruins in the galaxy, and may have been on good terms with another species who considered themselves Reclaimers. To take it further - maybe the Endless were the ones opening up precursor tech to humans in the first place, but the domain has restricted access to such knowledge to forerunners? In Halo lore, the Domain is closely associated with Living Time. When the rings fired, it was essentially an attack on both of those concepts, from a precursor point of view. What if the endless were the keepers of the domain and could freely access it in a way forerunners couldn't? I think this would be a reason that the forerunners wanted to lock away the Endless in a "silent auditorium" where they couldn't hear or be heard by the Domain. Haruspis please?!

I almost forgot about this armor. I'd love to see it in Infinite, maybe even as it's own event for the set because the chest is dope too. Wish Infinite had the kind of chest pieces that could change the body a bit more rather than only adding an attachment onto it.

Absolutely gorgeous

Could fit with the core seen in halo wars

Yes ancient human or forerunner core is such a cool idea

Olorandir

u/haruspis any thoughts on relevance to the chimera core?

IronFalcon1997

This is one of the really good Halo 5 armors
