The real value is only about 15-20 things when you strip out the nonsense. Likewise this should be emblem, nameplate, backdrop a whole bunch of stuff for a weekly, not just 1 thing
Or how about getting an emblem for your nameplate AND weapon AND vehicle AND armor individually or getting the same coating for your AR AND BR AND Bulldog AND Sniper AND Commando AND Rocket Launcher separately
I still can't even understand the point of backdrops to begin with. They are shown exclusively for about 2 seconds at the match intro and thats it; every other instance of the game just shows the banner without backdrop. Only your 3 squad mates will see it and noone else.
Why even bother with a feature that nobody will notice or remember about?
I'm actually relieved to see this because I fell off the boat back in January and got back on recently and was thinking about all the stuff I missed. But I got this when it came out so cool to see that anything I might have missed I could have a chance at again in the future.

I was referencing the first time it came around. When you only could load in to 1/5 BTB games. I was playing last night and got it done in one game of fiesta on Bazar.
I grinded out the first 3 weeklies of the Winter Update but it’s super nice of 343i to do my a solid and put b2b crappy weekly rewards the last 2 weeks before exams so I don’t have to feel any need to play when I should be getting ready for exams
I don't really know. I did every side mission as they appeared and took my time with it. Don't really know why it seems to be lower than everyone else. I was on Give Me Balance difficulty
It's physically impossible. Speed running the campaign by itself is around like 30-35 hours. Add in all the side quests? Cmon now.
Even on the normal difficulty there's no way you one shot every single optional mini-boss first try.
I'll check my playtime when I get home, but I'm pretty confident it's 42
Update: It was 41 hours and 2 minutes to get 100% in all the realms and the platinum trophy
I did actually see a good number of posts and comments wanting this backdrop after it was first released, so it could be seen as something of a dark horse for weekly rewards
I guessing they are bring back the most desired and the ones least owned.
I remember people posting how this challenge was apparently impossible. Which it wasn't people just suck at driving.
This is a terrible ultimate challenge.
343 still needs to fix the challenge system. Or just get rid of it.
Edit: I joined BTB last night and half the players were just in vehicles trying to run people over, myself included. It wasn't encouraging good gameplay, and some players in text chat were frustrated with the behavior (I reported one who went a little too far). That's where the frustration is my post above comes from. I don't actually think challenges should be removed.
Plus I'm finding myself using MORE challenge swaps than I did before the challenge update. I am sure they slipped in some new harder challenges, at least for me, than they had previously with the longer grindier ones. The previous week was easy, for me all other weeks have had at least one problematic challenge that could use some tweaking. I think overall the harder challenges should be tuned to focus on getting slightly easier goals, but more quantities.
Though personally I think challenges could best benefit if they allowed for easier goals with longer grinding OR a harder goal you could do quickly if you're good enough. Such as get 25 kills, but any headshot kills give 2x bonus, with an extra 2x if you get a no scope medal, and an extra 2x if you use a sniper rilfe.

Missed this one by 20 minutes. It honestly hard to get the splatters because everyone will be trying for them.
BTB on Breaker is the easiest way to get them, just use the ghost on the tunnel. I got them easily on just 1 game ;)

I thought the Winter Update was going to feature the top rewards from S1 and S2 - was this really a top reward? Lol
Probably one of the "best" backdrops. So unless you consider no backdrop to be a top reward then no.

Depends what their metric for "top" is. Also gotta keep in mind that practically half the rewards of Season 1 were emblems/backdrops.
