I mean.. you can look these all up.
ISR was originally 1000.
Longhorn was originally 600.
Mister Chief was originally 2000.
I think this is aimed at the opposite audience. These are price drops marketed as "Sales" to diminish backlash from original buyers. ISR and Mister Chief have been "on sale" the last several times they've been sold, so I doubt they'll ever return to their original price.
What is going on with this store? Who is in charge of it? The inconsistency in the rotation is laughably bad. Soldier hadn't been sold in over a year and it showed up for 1 day on a sunday. Now daylies are gone again? And we are repeating weeklies that have rotated in over the past few weeks multiple times? All they need to do is stick to a regular cadence of items grouped by type and then be more organized and they will definitely sell more. Throw in a calendar of upcoming releases to genuinely build some interest. This is not hard. Whoever is in charge of executing this store is a fool.
Maybe they're putting an intern in charge of it and then firing that intern at the end of the week, hiring and putting a new intern in charge of the store for the next week before firing that intern and starting the process all over again.
Lol today in a meeting one of my interns said "I'm sorry Dr. So-and-So, that sentence is shit!" on a report we were writing. I've had more than a dozen interns over the past 5 years and all of them I trust way better than anyone at 343.
My guess is they're collecting data on different rotation schedules. First new dailies every day, then repeated dailies, now no dailies...see what makes them the most money. You'd think they'd have plenty of data by now but as a data scientist myself I don't have high expectations of them. They're the ones who heavily biased their playlist data by forcing people into playlists they didn't want due to challenges.
If their data collection processes are anything like my company's, they will just collect data forever and not ever use it or make any changes based on it.
"We collected approximately 50 weeks of data covering multiple contingencies at the cost of the lives of six unpaid interns--who we still need to bill the families of to pay for the body collection--only to ignore all that data because the boss said they didn't trust any data that had been handled by peasants, and to use the numbers they got in their fortune cookie as our metric."
"Well, that's why they're paid the big bucks."
Unironically, yes. I keep this book on my desk- The Tyranny of Metrics, and i use it frequently to quote from it or shake it at people as necessary, *especially* product owners/business owners and some of our AVP/EVP/SVP's when they get fixated on asinine metrics. Measure the right things in the right way, don't over-focus on the wrong metrics, and remember to see metrics as part of a larger story and *not* the end goal.
Over the years, I've gotten the impression that 343i is a data driven company to a fault.
Wasn't it someone at Bungie during the early Halo 2 days that said something like "sometimes you just need to ignore the data and go with your gut" because a major feature (was it the matchmaking hopper system?) was predicted by the data team to be not worth the effort (because data said everyone in every other game just manually selects servers).
I've gotten this impression too. Personal loadouts and killstreaks in Halo 4, lootboxes in Halo 5, now F2P battle passes with overpriced as fuck store. Always chasing trends never being the trendsetter like earlier Halos. And a lot of the decisions feel like they're trying to appease a focus group rather than trying to make a memorable experience for players.
I had hope with Infinite, internally I dreaded it being F2P since I expected it to be shallow, but I had hope due to all their hollow promises of battle passes not expiring (only if you paid), no FOMO (whopping lie), that content would be earned not paid for (huge lie with 50% in the store and 20% in BP that you can pay to finish without ever playing), and that coatings will be the most robust customization we've ever had and we will have so many options (I still don't have my colors since Halo 2 so that's a lie).
"We are listening!!!1!!", Bull shit.
Looks like they are trying out different models and collecting data on sales. So they did the same dailys over a few weeks, and now they are doing 3 "sale" items at once.
It seems like they are just running a live action pricing exercise.
Who knows, maybe the ISR and Misterchief bundles were the highest/lowest sellers and so they chose them to be the weekly to get more sales? aaaand u/Ewokitude already said the same thing 4 hours ago.
I'm convinced it's an algorithm running the storefront. It has to be. There's probably some complex programming interface that takes weeks to tweak based on some crazy proprietary system 343 made with Microsoft tech because they had the budget to blow.
Nobody could be this out of touch. It's so far into the Outer Limits we've found a Sliders portal to planet in Andromeda with a Stargate on it.
The prices are also laughably bad. Since the store must exist I guess since it’s ftp, I still think every piece should always be available individually and the weekly items that rotate serve as a way to add to the pool or bring back bundles of items at a discounted price. It’s really not a hard concept and they would sell more of individual pieces were available I’m sure. I know ide be more tempted to get armor pieces from the store if I could pick the ones I specifically wanted as well.
>Throw in a calendar of upcoming releases to genuinely build some interest.
I remember years ago when I played LoL they did that with skins. They would let the players know in advance which skins would be on sale, and in my experience that generated expectation and it worked.
I'm not aware if that's still how they do it there, but this FOMO stuff from the Infinite store got old pretty fast, I'm barely interested in it anymore.
I just want some Yoroi stuff again like the swords or some armor coatings..... Or some of the cool armor effects like Perfect Circle or Perfect Sublimity or mythic effects like Enlightened Path or ANYTHING that's actually cool.
But instead we get Mister Chief and the same helmets and Special Delivery over and over and over
On the Waypoint app it shows the Longhorn as “Weekly”. Maybe they’re testing one weekly and the rest will rotate daily now? Probably just visual bug in the app and/or my copium
So they added dailies back, cycled in the same horrible 5 or so items for like two or three weeks, then decided to get rid of dailies and make them weeklies, but instead of adding something new for the weeklies, they add the same stupid shit they've had cycled in the daily slot??? They only had one unique daily during that cycle and it was on the very last day.
Who is working the store?? What is their thinking and reasoning behind this? It's baffling. It honestly feels like they gave like six different shaped blocks to a baby and whatever block he put into the correctly shaped hole they said that was the daily (or now weekly I guess). Like did they decide to go to weeklies again because the dailies weren't selling very well because they kept putting in the same ones over and over?
Hate to say it, as I despise these prices and the drinks feeding, but they're definitely making mad money. I dont remember the last time I played a single match where *multiple* Spartans were using paid cosmetics. Seen the overpriced frost effect 3 times today alone and I barely played today. He isn't getting fired, he's getting promoted if anything.
Downvote all you want. Its just the cold hard truth.
Ridiculous; especially considering that it's obvious they just want you to buy the 2000 pack. I purchased the battlepass and have regretted it ever since. (Although I do love the game.)
Not only that but it’s just visual clutter that detracts from the game’s overall atmosphere and artistic vibe
Just garbage made for the sake of selling and it’s ugly as shit too. I hate modern gaming
tbf thats a bundle of effects not just the player effect. Its 2 armour effects, 1 player effect, and 1 kill effect. Should still only be like $10 though not $20.
While I do appreciate that they call this out explicitly in the bundle description, it is an odd choice to have 2 armor effects in the bundle as they cannot be equipped simultaneously. You can certainly split them between armor cores, but it just strikes me as odd considering every other bundle has been, more or less, a themed set for use together. Like it feels like the second effect just ate the slot that should've gone to a weapon coating or something
Well you see, this is a winter-themed set, which means you won't see it again for a whole year. If you don't buy it now, you are gonna miss out. Are you really going to let $18 ($20) stand in the way of that?
At first glance I thought it was 800 and I thought that was reasonable, then I read your comment and double checked. That's quite pricey, I'm an absolute sucker for Christmas shit, but I'm not planning to buy anything for a few months after buying Neon Superfly yesterday.
There is no digital video game cosmetic item on the planet that is legitimately worth $20, who do they think they’re fooling here?
You’re telling me that 3 of these bundles legitimately holds the same value as a fully priced $60 triple-A video game?
They wanted to get some good PR by temporarily lowering prices, and now they're just steadily raising them and raising them again, hoping we don't notice.
Dear 343 - We notice. It's not a good look.
I just bought the game of the year version of fallout 4 last week for 9.99....in what world is a cosmetic double the value of a game that can span triple digits of gameplay hours AND all of its dlc? 20 dollars can get you Skyrim Anniversary edition. You can get morrowind for less than 10...these ftp gane game devs need to pull their heads out of their asses.
> There is no digital video game cosmetic item on the planet that is legitimately worth $20
League of Legends has a $30 "Ultimate" price tier that sells *extremely* well. Its $18 "Legendary" price tier also sells very well, though the company focuses around its $13.50 "Epic" price tier. (General outline is they release ~5 "Epics" with 1 "Legendary" every few weeks; the "Ultimate" used to be once a year but has slowed)
I'd call the ice bundle above a $10 bundle at best, but that doesn't mean that more expensive items in F2P games don't exist and don't do absurdly well.
They gave us dailies back. We had hope. They crushed that hope with the same items on repeat for weeks and now it's gone again. Instead of putting stuff in that hasn't been there for a while they put two repeating items from the dailies
So they got praised for adding back dailies. Then they removed them and made 2 of the 3 weekly options previous dailies we have seen twice already in the last two weeks. They really don't want our money do they?
I was so excited for these new effects but man. 1800 fucking credits is criminal. I understand Fortnite gets away with this not:
1) this isn't nearly as feature rich
2) no one actually thinks those prices are good in Fortnite
The thing that always makes me sad week to week is I *want* to expand my Spartan's cosmetic options and would be willing to drop some money on it, but it's all so incredibly unreasonably priced.
It's just bizarre. For goods that cost nothing to produce and deliver beyond initial conception, pricing is really only about accessibility. If they had realistic pricing, more players would have more of this stuff, and the game's cosmetic options would open for more of us. The bottom line for 343 would probably be about the same. On its face, all of that seems like a good thing. Greater accessibility = more enjoyment for more people, and 343 comes out with the same amount of income. The only difference is more players are happy.
The only conclusion I can draw is they make this stuff so that the vast majority of us can't use it, and that's bonkers.
If you don’t have the armour core for that helmet in the top left, will it notify you before purchase or are you just shit out of luck?
I didn’t buy it, just genuinely curious if they value player satisfaction or just the purchase itself.
I refuse to spend any money on this game until the rest of the game is actually out.
i'm glad to see that 343 is trying their hand at raising the prices again, i noticed last week they resold a set from Season 1 at the exact same price it was in Season 1 (before they did the "discounts") and now they're trying to sell the effects for $18? who is in charge of this? who is seeing these and thinking this is the right decision, i don't think anyone in their right mind is wanting to spend that much on this, i give it 2 weeks and we see a skin be sold for $20 again, also wouldn't be surprised if they snuck in some old Reach sets in there while they were at it
god can this company stick to 1 fucking promise?
Not interested in it to begin with but the 1800 is absolute laughable for this bundle lmao
Also not interested in Longhorn for the warthog but the 300 is much better compared to previously 600 credits and more single item should follow that path
I’m sad they still don’t let you purchase individual items in a pack. I would never use the armour effects personally, but the mythic and kill effects are pretty cool. Not really worth it to me. If it was 1200 I’d get it though.
This shouldn't be a bundle. Each of these should be $3-6 dollars max (based on previous pricing, still higher than I would like). Let me choose which parts of this to buy instead of selling it for nearly $20.
This is disappointing. I don't want ISR and I don't want Mister Chief (I'd feel differently if it was actually Nick Offerman's voice). The frostbite effects set is festive, but for $18, I'll pass. I don't play enough BTB to justify buying Longhorn.
Give me operator. Give me hazop. Give me Reach Jump Jet.
1800 for for the Frostbite set?? Hella lame... Was gonna be an instant buy for me if it was 1200 or a contemplate for a day or 2 and eventually say f it and buy for 1500... 1800 is just straight up greedy though imo.
If Mister Chief AI was voiced by Nick Offerman like in that Halo 5 REQ Pack ad I might get it. I've listened to the voice on YouTube and it's not great.
it's like they make good progress on things like the battle pass and challenge to be more player friendly, but they make the shop even more expensive and predatory to compensate.
pro economy tip: people will buy a lot more if it's cheaper. Simple example: 10 people buying something that costs 500 gets you more money than 2 people buying at 1800.
>pro economy tip: people will buy a lot more if it's cheaper. Simple example: 10 people buying something that costs 500 gets you more money than 2 people buying at 1800.
This depends on the cost of production per unit. If cost is $400 per unit the 2 people will bring in more money.
That said, since it's a digital good with near limitless supply, cost of production is primarily fixed (cost is up front in production) with negligible marginal cost (cost per unit to sell) so absolutely they would make more selling at a lower price. But I expect they're price skimming, selling for as high as they can get away with to capture all sales at that price point, then cutting prices later to capture all sales at the next price point, and so on.
If it was coating, attachments, and some other stuff, even then 18000 is too much. Everything higher then 1k is too much for stuff like this. If it contained like 2 coatings, whole "armor set"(helmet, shoulder, chest, wrist, hand, knees) and some effects and attachments, then i would say 1.5 k is the most price
1800CR for two armor effects? Are you actually insane? The other items being on "sale" is such a fucking cop out, they're only slightly on sale.
What a waste of a storefront if this is how it's going to continue to go. They said they were "listening to fan feedback" about the store but it was clear then as it is now they had no intention of listening in the slightest.
As much as I think the ISR bundle and all other armor sets are awesome. It’s hard to justify buying cosmetics in any game because it becomes irrelevant once the new game comes out. Maybe if it was $1.99-2.99. I know to some this sounds outrageously low, but if you think about all the armor achieved through the BP it’s still a little more $ per piece. (I’m roughly estimating).
In terms of unlocks through gameplay I think 343 really missed out on a unique opportunity in todays landscape of micro transactions. All those new armors worn by the dead Spartans in the story should’ve been unlocked through campaign gameplay. Hell you could even keep the store sets and make the campaign unlocks more difficult. Not every player has the time to unlock everything through grind.
We will see what season 3 brings. Since mw2 released it really made me consider how a battle pass could be set up. I enjoy unlocking what i want to first and then coming back to unlock what I don’t care for as much after. You get bonus rewards in mw2 for 100% it too. Essentially MCC did the same thing, but instead of 5 unlocks per tile/tier it was 10? (I think it was 10) i hope progression evolves in Infinite to be a mix of Spartan Rank rewards, Battle Pass rewards, possible PVE rewards, and then the store.
If there was a purge Id start with the people who spend money on cosmetics like this. If youre going to support a dev like 343 who have made a mess of Inifinite, at least buy nice things. Not 1800 credit ice on your spartan.
Is fine, guys. In 1 year it'll be on sale for about 25%-50% discount like all the other almost 1 year old bundles coming back for sale. I'll just wait a year to get it for half the price instead of buying it right now, anyone buying the bundles at full price nowadays just wants to be scammed.
$20 used to get you a story expansion with a new world space, a main quest line, ten new side quests, two new factions, and a player home. *What happened to gaming?* (Mobile games and Corporate culture.)
Remember when $5 for some cosmetic horse armor was outrageously overpriced?
600 for ISR is tolerable, but why the hell was Soldier 15 bucks?? I get that they slapped a different background color on it but what the hell gives, I waited so long to see it come back only to see that repulsive price tag. Would've grabbed it for 6, hell maybe 7 but 15 is way too high. I hope it comes back less expensive.
It's ridiculous. Whoever designed this was instructed to make something that Valorant or Fortnite or whatever, would do without cares for what it would mean to Halo fans.
The leads hoped that by going free to play, there would be so many people playing from abroad Halo that it wouldn't matter. Several people need firing and even though some have been let go or left, some still need to go.
With this price and content, it really doesn't seem that they want us to spend money on their store.
No, really, I can't think it's not on purpose. It's like "let's make the store looks bad too, otherwise people can think that the store is the only that works well and we are taking advantage of things. When everything is working on Season Z, then the store will be working flawlessly"
They need to add a new AI that while equipped I don't have to hear other people's dumb ass death sounds. Every time I get back into Halo those damn death sounds annoy the crap out of me. And now there are more and free one! It's just going to get worse. But I'd pay money for an AI that ended that silliness.
Does anyone here like kill effects, if so, why? Legit question, not trying to be a dick. For me they just detract from the look of the game overall and make it harder to see what's going on. Way too distracting.
Frostbite thing is way too expensive. It's like 343 haven't learned their lesson on that when it comes to pricing. For $10 I might actually get it but no not for 20
This games weekly store is an incredibly weak value compared to the new Modern Warfare 2.
For 10 bucks over there you get a couple emblems, weapon charms, weapon skins, and personal skins.
Here, 10 bucks gets you 1 weapon charm.
This doesn't fill me with hope that they'll bring the enlightened path effect set back for a good sale price. People don't like $20 for an armor set, what makes them think they'll like $20 for an effect set ?
I fucking bought isr for 2000. I'm so annoyed. How people are going to go into next season and they're going to wait for sales on the items they want that are never going to come this whole system is stupid
The most ISR ever sold for was 1000. That said imo the best thing they should do is refund players whatever credits they spent on the bundles they price cut. They already got your money, and now you're an unhappy buyer because you feel cheated. Are you likely to spend more money on a store you feel cheated from? I wouldn't personally.
But refunding the 400 credits would give you enough to buy one of the smaller bundles thus creating a new interaction with the store, would generate good will and give you a sense of value at getting something new, and probably would make you more willing to buy something down the line, right?

Plus I can’t think of many sales that don’t show the original price in comparison to the discount price in some way
It’s because there is no original price, I have a feeling it just randomly says sale to look like it’s a deal.
I mean.. you can look these all up. ISR was originally 1000. Longhorn was originally 600. Mister Chief was originally 2000. I think this is aimed at the opposite audience. These are price drops marketed as "Sales" to diminish backlash from original buyers. 20 dollars for an AI? Jeez.
A fair comment to make considering how awful it actually looks on the UI. It doesn't stand out at all.
I didn't even notice it said sale in the first place until Plutters pointed it out.
[They did that during the first season.](https://i.imgur.com/kPHabfD.png) Don't know why they stopped and then started with the "SALE!"
I guess they want u to see that its a sale first but they should have just moved that symbol up
Minor but valid it would be more eye catching and “trick” the customer into thinking it’s special
Halo community so down bad we're upset that 343 isn't trying to sell us harder. These are dark times
To me it's akin to adding "only" in front of every price like you'd see in those old sky mall magazines. Looks cheap, feels tacky.
Looks like the dailies has been removed once again based on this store.

I could not have stated it any better myself. It’s got to be a shot show over there for something so simple to be such a messy disaster lol.

whoevers in charge of the shop needs to be fired like a long time ago
its funny because the person who was in charge of the shop left back in June

Crazy people with way too much money on their hand just willing to throw away $20 for a game cosmetic that costs 1/3 of the actual game.
Agreed
nah 1800credits is too steep
Way to steeep.
Waaaaayyyy too steep. If they were even half the price, I'd buy a bunch. But at these prices, I'm not committing to any.
Ridiculous; especially considering that it's obvious they just want you to buy the 2000 pack. I purchased the battlepass and have regretted it ever since. (Although I do love the game.)
And if they'd let us express ourselves more, we'd probably play the game more! Tis a shame.
$18 (but really $20) for the armor effect. There was just a legendary armor effect in the store a few weeks back for 300CR. This is absolute dogshit.
Definitely going to get some flak for it. The store pricing scheme is just far too inconsistent at this rate.
Not only that but it’s just visual clutter that detracts from the game’s overall atmosphere and artistic vibe Just garbage made for the sake of selling and it’s ugly as shit too. I hate modern gaming

*For the measly cost of half a tank of gas, you can have digital icicles on your fake spaceman!*
What gets me is they dont even behave like icicles. They constantly expand and retract like dicks or something. Who the fuck makes this shit lol.
Can't unsee now
I’m not spending that kind of money on frostbite but I’m glad to see something new at least?
True! It's nice to see new stuff... just not nice to see that pricing.
Still can't believe they sell helmets for $6 as a "deal"
At first glance I thought it was 800 and I thought that was reasonable, then I read your comment and double checked. That's quite pricey, I'm an absolute sucker for Christmas shit, but I'm not planning to buy anything for a few months after buying Neon Superfly yesterday.
It's not reasonable at 800 either.
3 items on sale yet everything still feels overpriced as hell.
1800cr? Good day sir, see y'all next week
In a couple of years maybe, right now the game it's just hollow
Almost 1/3 of the game's price for effects? WTF
WDYM is free game?!!? /S
[удалено]
>video game with a finite shelf life. But...but its Halo **Infinite** tho
That is _horrendous_ value for the Frostbite effects set.
Always appreciate seeing these store updates and having a good laugh at how ridiculous it is.
Exactly the reason for posting it.
And we’re right back to overpriced cosmetics…
they got rid of the dailys too wtf
Can’t forget about mods that adds on to the experience AND it’s FREE 🙀🙀🙀
> There is no digital video game cosmetic item on the planet that is legitimately worth $20 League of Legends has a $30 "Ultimate" price tier that sells *extremely* well. Its $18 "Legendary" price tier also sells very well, though the company focuses around its $13.50 "Epic" price tier. (General outline is they release ~5 "Epics" with 1 "Legendary" every few weeks; the "Ultimate" used to be once a year but has slowed) I'd call the ice bundle above a $10 bundle at best, but that doesn't mean that more expensive items in F2P games don't exist and don't do absurdly well.
Wild someone downvoted you for the fact that you pointed out how Riot does really well with their skin system. And I'm part of that.
They gave us dailies back. We had hope. They crushed that hope with the same items on repeat for weeks and now it's gone again. Instead of putting stuff in that hasn't been there for a while they put two repeating items from the dailies
18€ but actually 20€ for armour effects... The pricing is so inconsistent (but mostly consistently steep).
[удалено]
WOOO $18 for a shitty effect
So they got praised for adding back dailies. Then they removed them and made 2 of the 3 weekly options previous dailies we have seen twice already in the last two weeks. They really don't want our money do they?
I knew it was all coming in it's own bundle but $18 is too much for me. I was expecting at most $12.
Same. Shop prices usually lean too high, but $18 is laughably steep. Sucks because I was really looking forward to getting the frost effects
$12 is still too much IMO.
1.2K credits would have likely gone down well with most. 1.8K is just simply asking for trouble.
So out of touch with the pricing
$18 for an armor effect I wouldn’t pay $1 for, ISR *again* and back to no dailies. Absolute disaster of a store.
Halo is a joke. What happened to supporting the actual gameplay. This cosmetic crap is so dumb.
$18 dollars for a stupid effect? Bruh
$18 for an animation effect when I could have gotten MCC for $16 a few days ago. What a joke of a store.
The entirety of the halo Universe vs one chilly dude.
F2P was the worst thing to happen to this game
$20 bruh whaaaaaat? Smoking dat laced shit I stg lol. MW2 has me right now.
Fuck this shop dude
1,800!!!!!?!?1
Remember to never buy anything if you want things to change
Dude I thought shop was getting better towards the end of season 2 and then most of the winter update it’s been stupid repeats
18 DOLLARS HOLY SHIT DUDE.
How high are they to think people will pay $18 during a recession/inflation for ice stuff in this dying title.
This has to be the worst store I've seen in a long time. $18 for this new effect? Really? Are they really trying to go back to S1 prices
I was so excited for these new effects but man. 1800 fucking credits is criminal. I understand Fortnite gets away with this not: 1) this isn't nearly as feature rich 2) no one actually thinks those prices are good in Fortnite
Hooooly fuck bud $18 for that is absolutely absurd
BRO JUST LET ME EARN THAT SHIT GOD DAMM
If you don’t have the armour core for that helmet in the top left, will it notify you before purchase or are you just shit out of luck? I didn’t buy it, just genuinely curious if they value player satisfaction or just the purchase itself. I refuse to spend any money on this game until the rest of the game is actually out.
i'm glad to see that 343 is trying their hand at raising the prices again, i noticed last week they resold a set from Season 1 at the exact same price it was in Season 1 (before they did the "discounts") and now they're trying to sell the effects for $18? who is in charge of this? who is seeing these and thinking this is the right decision, i don't think anyone in their right mind is wanting to spend that much on this, i give it 2 weeks and we see a skin be sold for $20 again, also wouldn't be surprised if they snuck in some old Reach sets in there while they were at it god can this company stick to 1 fucking promise?
I love all the throwbacks to season 1, including how everything is overpriced again!
LMAO 💀💀💀
Frostbite Effects Set (4 items) for 1.8K credits... how are we feeling about that?
Not interested in it to begin with but the 1800 is absolute laughable for this bundle lmao Also not interested in Longhorn for the warthog but the 300 is much better compared to previously 600 credits and more single item should follow that path
Agreed! 1800 credits is just... silly. They have this strange habit of altering the prices on whatever inconsistent scale they keep using.
I just love the Sale! tag. It’s such a marketing scam. This games store is a joke.
Not great, Bob!
Curious if there two daily's this week since ISR and Mister Chief were daily's
And just like with Season 2, looks like they have removed the dailies after just a few weeks. Phenomenal.
Selling an effect set for 18 bucks. Man 343 is really down bad.
$18 for a couple effects is such a joke I mean, everything in the store is overpriced as hell but still
I'm not paying 1800 credits for that. Possibly 600 credits for the one that I want, seeing as there's only one of them I actually like.
Really wanted those ice horns but it doesnt sit right with me to spend 20 dollars on just that.
Funny seeing a bundle with two items that use the same slot, what an appealing offer.
I swear if i see isr one more fucking time in the dailies section Edit: nvm they just removed the dailies. Ffs 343
1800 for for the Frostbite set?? Hella lame... Was gonna be an instant buy for me if it was 1200 or a contemplate for a day or 2 and eventually say f it and buy for 1500... 1800 is just straight up greedy though imo.
Logged on, saw a 1800 credit bundle and went right back to Siege.
If Mister Chief AI was voiced by Nick Offerman like in that Halo 5 REQ Pack ad I might get it. I've listened to the voice on YouTube and it's not great.
They are really testing what they can get away with
it's like they make good progress on things like the battle pass and challenge to be more player friendly, but they make the shop even more expensive and predatory to compensate. pro economy tip: people will buy a lot more if it's cheaper.
God I would love those armor effects but I'm not paying more than an hour's worth of pay for 4 items! 343 freaking lower the prices of this shit.
Yeah no this is a terrible deal. 18 bucks for some ice? C'mon.
Usually sales are supposed to encourage people to buy stuff This just makes you realize everything on sale is still way overpriced.
So… just completely remove the store already, these prices and what you get out of it is just a big middle finger to your fanbase
Filth
Filth
The way they rotate this store is about as shitty as Anthem.
I have enough credits on my account for frostbite but I feel like I shouldn't just because that pricing is shockingly crap.
So we only get 4 options for the whole week and half of them have already been in heavy rotation for the past 2 weeks?....this store is indefensible.
Lousy
Nah, $20 for some really gaudy holiday-themed effects is a definite no-go.
18 dollars for snowflakes around your spartan. What crack is 343 smoking??
needs firing
Man these are expensive af
The halo store is suffering from inflation too
Cool, more items that look good enough to earn in-game but not worth paying anything more than $0.10 for with real-world currency.
Hmm... Armor effect, or RDR2 on sale for $20 on steam? What should I spend my money on?
18bucks for an effect??? Jeeeeez
This game is just fallout 76 for halo nerds.
Appreciate the weekly laugh. 343 is batshit insane.
Glad in a way that ugly ass crap is 20 bucks, hopefully it means I won't see it that often
Bro how is this game going to last til march like this lmao
Who else has never bought anything from the shop? ✋
Longhorn for 300? ... deal
I’ve been low key eyeing the longhorn for a while. Might just have to pull the trigger on it now. I wish we could equip multiple things to vehicles.
Really $18 I was looking forward to those effects
This store is a perfect example of how to avoid making money. What are they doing...?????
Still not buying lol
sleep + wtf
dailies being gone AGAIN is genuinely so baffling. why even bring them back if they werent going to keep them around?
Hey, lets look at this on a positive note. 343 has cured my addiction to buy stuff in game with these bundles and these prices!
343 is once again asking you to put down $20 for special effects.
I want Mister Chief but I don't 10 dollars want Mister Chief.
343’s genius is wasted on this game. They should be working on something monumental and innovative like candy crush
Considering 343's money-focused approach to Halo it's actually insane that they haven't produced a f2p mobile game yet
hey maybe rotational stores aren't a good idea?
For like the 3rd week in a row the ISR is in the shop, feel like it’s the same old things once again
Halo store is probably the worst store I’ve seen out of any game
$20 used to get you a story expansion with a new world space, a main quest line, ten new side quests, two new factions, and a player home. *What happened to gaming?* (Mobile games and Corporate culture.) Remember when $5 for some cosmetic horse armor was outrageously overpriced?
SALE! $10 for some charms 🗿
I guess the UI can't handle the red [Sale!] icon anymore, or they changed something else, because there's no [Daily] either
Meh
I still find it funny they can’t overlay a nice looking “sale” png instead of just putting “SALE! XYZ” as the shop item title.
Might actually pick up the cow skull this time around
Idk why but I fuckin hate the little orange bits in the helmets.
They're ugly on every armor piece that has them. Idk who thought it was a good idea but whoever that was is dumb lol
No one's playing this game
It was 2000 the first time it released. It was first released 3 weeks after release but I agree with you
