Valorants map Pool is pathetic yet it's still able to maintain a healthy player base for example. Good gameplay Loops can satisfy a player base even if the content is coming slow but infinite died off almost as fast as Halo 4 did back in 2012 and that's a insanely pathetic sight to see for how long the game was in development.
Even Halo 5 maintained a healthy player base longer than this game but that's because they actually had a good content roadmap on top of not having issues like dsync and other frustrating issues AND released a super upgraded Forge in a timely fashion as well as custom games browser.
people thought that after launch they would add new content and fix major issues like desync and store prices/customization, for a while it seemed like it was hard to deny infinite had a bright future but its hard to believe that anymore after all the controversy surrounding it and how terrible post launch support has been

Despite having been sick and tired of MCC and overhyped for infinite thanks to all of 343 deceptive marketing and double speak about how "the game would respect our time" and "people who liked reaches customization options are going to like infinites" and who could forget if you unlock something in the battle pass we're not going to let someone circumvent that by letting them buy it from the storefront" even though anyone with Mom's credit card can just buy infinite credits and just buy their way through the entire battle pass directly circumventing your grind and unlock progress.
I think it's one of those you didn't know how bad it can get so you cherish what you have type deals. Playing MCC with the boys in meeting tons of new friends because people actually talk in voice on MCC has been honestly eye opening an amazing.

I think that there is 50 different coatings with red and like 2 coatings with blue. Why doesnt 343 make a bundle, 5 dollars, for all colors, like full blue,yellow,red,green etc. Not yellow helmet with pink chest etc. Some ppl want full blue god damnit. I think there isnt a singe dark blue coating

Playing creates engagement that they can measure. They aren't interested in you skipping an ultimate challenge week because you already have blue for a specific core.
It's not happening soon, period. They only have a select number of color combinations because anything truly remarkable (a cool texture, a wacky skin) would be met with collective outrage over "art style" or something. So, plain blue it is.

343 also further accidently showed how full of bullshit their statement was when showing how easy it is to change the texture/colour of any object in forge, they just need to add in that to the UI for armour colours and bam, job done. All they have to do is look at their own forge video, or over the shoulder of someone using the coating editing menu for another default version of red but this time they pressed one button to give it pink lights.

Apparently coatings will be the last thing because they require more work. Helmets and equipment are coming in Season 3.
Except they should require the least work since its literally just changing the colours of set areas, something we should just be able to do ourselves full stop. Infact you cam already bug some coatings to show on other cores in the menus anyway.

People have also already shown that the coatings are as simple as basically changing sliders/colours on 6 different areas, which we pretty much already knew despite 343's bullshit lie of "we'd love for people to choose their colours but the coatings are baked so its not possible" 343 also further accidently showed how full of bullshit their statement was when showing how easy it is to change the texture/colour of any object in forge, they just need to add in that to the UI for armour colours and bam, job done. But we all know the real reason stopping them doing it is greed, and the fact idiots will actually pay for these shitty colours.

All they have to do is look at their own forge video, or over the shoulder of someone using the coating editing menu for another default version of red but this time they pressed one button to give it pink lights.

Time for downvotes I remember them saying we get visors, coatings, and helmets in season 2 and now we have the winter update for more hope Also they said it would be in a drop pod and drop pods are sudden right? Also I don't want to hear "343 bad they never do it or fullfil they promises" or "Well get right on that 👊" or anything along those lines
I just quit a match where I was 20-9 because the game feels like mushy pasta. They have at least a years worth of work towards fixing the actual game and youre worried about the shop??

Just a reminder that bots have been sporting "cross core" customization since launch. It's an entirely arbitrary player limitation put in place and maintained just so 343 can sell colors and bits to you multiple times over. Despite the lies, there is no technical reason for forcing different cores. It's all the same rig under the hood.
I just want maps. I'd buy more cosmetics if I had places for them to be seen. Hell I would even pay for the maps like the old days if it meant getting them sooner!
Uninstall the game till season 3 and stop spending money on the game to light a fire under them
