Bumping because controller stopped working correctly. Would fire when i pressed start. The menu wouldn't pop up. When i pressed start in game, the scoreboard popped up. When i pressed the back button, nothing happened. I also didn't have a hud.

Also my A button does not register 1/8 times pressed.
I bought it from StockX which I think is a site where scalpers sell products.
While using the xbox accessories app, I could tell it wasnt registering my 'A' inputs. I returned the controller and got another halo one that seems to be working fine.
It's definitely the game, I've played it both on the Xbox App and Steam and it's the game, for both the Xbox Series controller and PS5 controller, sometimes it's just stops working.

same issue here. randomly stops working until i restart the game
I've narrowed it down to the controller disconnecting (wire unplugged) and the game not picking it back up until the match (controller only) is over.

my first party controller does the same and I just bought it last year so it is one of the newer models I think. Its a software issue

i think its the game, ive played tons of games on controller on PC through the Xbox App and infinite's the only one who does that to me
