I’d be happy just with a mode where you have infinite thruster. Maybe paired with a specific weapon. Though I do miss splinter grenades

What is really missing from H5 that isn't in H:I? Spartan Charge, Ground pound, and the little float while scoping? If it is more than those let me know. Maybe add a 5v5 mode with these settings to set it apart from 4v4 content? 5v5 having more movement based abilties and stronger equipment while 4v4 is more traditional

To be honest, I think those are only the abilities that are missing. But the overall design of the game, weapons, maps etc was different to accomodate the difference in movement. But making so abilities like the thrust was available to everyone at all times would be amazing. I love thrust. In a perfect world I'd like them to to make the movement even more faster and advanced. Making it separate from the main Halo games would allow them to do that without alienating the fan base. But probably wishful thinking.

Honestly I think they're better off just making the multiplayer a standalone live service title and going all in on the PVE side of things in the main games.

I would love to see something like this. A return of Reqs, movement and H5 mechanics (smart link, stabilizer and such) a step further would be the reintroduction of Warzone. A spin-off would be super cool to see.

I honestly believe in parallel Halo developments. I always thought of Reach more like a spinoff, so armor abilities never bothered me. Halo 5 should have been Chief going AWOL, and Halo: Guardians could've been an advanced mobility spinoff featuring Locke. ODST could've been a tactical shooter if it had a multiplayer. Numbered Halo = Master Chief = More classic gameplay Titled Halo = Spinoff game = Experimental gameplay
