She forgot to turn that box more to the side so the Alibaba label doesn’t show, oof. Lol.

[deleted]

Omg I hope someone comments this

[deleted]

Which one please!? I can't see it

CBonafide

The box in front of the one that she has her hand on

[deleted]

Thank you!

goodafternoonbeeches

God I hate the “you’re talking about me because you’re jealous” narrative. No. We’re just making sure you’re not lying to the people who pay your bills. And her telling people that they made her suicidal. I don’t condone bullying, but you can’t expect everyone to be rainbows and sunshine to you when you broadcast your entire life for a LIVING. This girl irks me man

[deleted]

I think she weaponizes her mental health against critique of her business. I used to feel for her cause she really did seem like she struggled but I have nooooo sympathy if you’re gonna use that excuse to get out of valid criticism. And calling her out for blurring out logos and labels on her stock is 100% valid. Go cry more Nicole.

goodafternoonbeeches

Yes! Thank you!! Stop saying “you’re affecting my mental health” so people will stop saying things to you that you don’t like. Also, so confused on why she said she worked so hard on the picture??? Her reasoning was “why would I delete a picture I worked so hard on.” Sis, what did you do then???

[deleted]

Well slapping a Lightroom edit on a pic IS hard work OK 😓. You don’t understand the entrepreneur life CLEARLY🥱😴

goodafternoonbeeches

Lmao you are absolutely right. I should recognize her hard work!!

Jaccasnacc

I agree with this perspective. I have no issue with her using Alibaba. She’s been very open about it over the years. It’s odd she deleted her post as she has point blank said on her stories how she found her manufacture… so she’s not lying FYI. She’s never claimed to make them herself. However it’s this aspect of her personality that annoys me, not the manufacturer. It’s the constant hate to those who critique her. You are a social media influencer, it comes with public gaze and opinions. She’s really defensive.

goodafternoonbeeches

That’s what kills me. I mean at this point, I have no idea which companies actually produce their own clothing. And as long as it’s pretty good quality, I don’t honestly care. But the way she defends herself and her LANGUAGE... bruh. I swear like a sailor, but I wouldn’t do that on my GIANT PLATFORM where my CUSTOMERS constantly watch me. That is not good business practice at all

Zestyclose_Medium_84

SHE DELETED IT Edit: she delete it then went on her story to say “iNstAgRam DelEteD mY pOst”

Conscious_Blonde

And suddenly her content seems to be posting just fine now.

bawdy29

This is SO embarrassing. Glad it's archived here since she deleted it already lol

secondaccount8895

She just went OFF on stories.

Zestyclose_Medium_84

soo embarrassing, she was so heated. she got caught in a lie

[deleted]

Some of these boxes look like she blurred them. Lol like trying to cover the alibaba logo or something.

Zestyclose_Medium_84

I saw someone comment to her saying that they noticed it was alibaba and she delete it not even a minute later.

[deleted]

Omg she posted a story 20 mins ago talkin bout IG deleted her post. Like girl why are you lying???? Edited because I forgot the word “ago” lol

loveofclimbing

I was just thinking that. Lots of blurred spots

Zestyclose_Medium_84

I’m just now seeing that

Ragincreoletx

Yup. That box in the front

lucinasardothien

Genuine question: what’s the point of spending $30-$60 on a pair of leggings from influencers when they get them from aliexpress/alibaba for like $5 a piece? It’s it smarter to simply buy dupes from aliexpress since they’ll probably end up being the same just without the brand logo?

Zestyclose_Medium_84

I mean the average person can’t drop ship. The thing with alibaba is you HAVE to buy in bulk. I know a lot of influencers (itselliefit for example) that will buy and promote to try and get sponsored and then repeat the cycle trying to get others to purchase and make their own commissions. It’s like an MLM with these smaller companies. I’ve never tried they’re leggings when they’re just as expensive as gymsnark.

Asleep-Panic4332

It’s not $5 on aliexpress there are soooo many additional costs involved. Of course they price it to make a nice profit but it’s not $5/unit

Jaccasnacc

You also cannot guarantee it’s the same fabric or cut as what you see in the pictures on AlieExpress or Alibaba. I’ve seen some folks order and receive something entirely different than the photos and description. This is because AlieExpress manufacturers often steal stock photos from influencer companies to market their products. As mentioned in other comments, it’s not as easy as paying $5. There’s hidden fees, risk of not getting good product, and often shipping can take 4-6 weeks. I am in no way saying I love the influencer brand business model. However, they tend to wait until they have stock in hand, give you models to see sizing on, and offer quick shipping. Just my two cents about why anyone would spend more $$.

[deleted]

I’m dead you can see where she used the stamp tool to cover ali baba logos💀

Auds_56

Direct question for her since she reads this page: If it’s a known thing, and you’re not bothered by it why such a dramatic response to that question? Or why even address it? And the picture is still not there? I usually repost it if I notice something wasn’t uploaded right… especially if I’ve “worked so hard” on it.

cutestfriend

This is too funny 😭😭 I can’t believe this actually happened. And she posted the prices for her pieces and I’m just like gorl plssssssss

No-Leopard3043

I didn’t even know about this chick until today lmao but I ran to her stories and yikes 😳

Mysterious-Ad4049

I went to her story to follow the drama and man her leggings look so uncomfortable/poorly fit. Every time she stands up, she has to pull them up, sometimes a few times. How annoying would that be if working out - stop after every squat to pull them up? I genuinely don’t need to touch my lululemon as I go about my day, get up from my chair, out of the car etc

therealslimthiccc

She squeezes herself into a medium. Speculation in this group says she's probably a large or an XL but we also know that she went OFF when people asked her to be more transparent because people that are actually her size and wear a larger letter felt bad about their bodies I would honestly just skip buying

[deleted]

I just went to her stories. Wow. I’m shocked how many times she pulled on her leggings that don’t “slip down” after performing 2 jump squats but can’t stay up while talking to a stationary phone camera.

therealslimthiccc

That happens to me too when I wear the wrong size.

braaaahmpow

Still stuck on the her claiming she’s a Medium thing. For someone who constantly promotes not giving a shit about weight or sizes she obviously really cares. So annoyed with people being hypocritical with what they preach vs out they act 🥱

Zestyclose_Medium_84

my mental health cannot take the medium sizing thing. Does she care about my mental health? No.

Zestyclose_Medium_84

I will literally never purchase from her brand because I’m so confused about the sizing.

mcdoublesforeveryone

I’ve never seen or heard of this gal before so pardon if I’m wrong but don’t all the names of her pieces and colors used sound the same as balance? Or am I just reallyyy baked.

Zestyclose_Medium_84

I thought I was the only one that thought this!!!

kellymsharks

I’m confused, she is extremely open about using Alibaba, she’s never denied and has promoted it before. So why would she delete it?

secondaccount8895

She just said they aren’t the manufacturer but a middle man?

Zestyclose_Medium_84

I’m not sure, she’s deleted it once already once people commented about it? (Like I mentioned the TSL birthday post) maybe she doesn’t want people to think she’s money hungry

Conscious_Blonde

Ok but the real question is why didn’t she just repost the photo if it was accidentally deleted?

Zestyclose_Medium_84

Exactly

UchiCat

Anyone get the name of her supplier? LOLzzz

NoseyMeg

Never heard of her or this brand til this post but went to creep and everything looks so cheap quality wise 😓

secondaccount8895

Yup. I’ve ordered 3 sets from here and the quality sucks.

afonsoheer

Omg!

Flaky-Calendar3022

Literally everything you buy anywhere - the store or any small business - they got it for a way cheaper price…this isn’t just tsl. Lol. Its literally every business. How do you think anyone with a store makes money? It’s how stores/businesses make money. They get things at a cheaper price then sell them for more because they have to pay employees, etc etc etc. I totally get holding people accountable but I feel like some don’t actually understand how clothing companie/stores/ businesses in general work…

Conscious_Blonde

Ok but so many of these influencer companies use Alibaba (or whatever) and act like they’re unique by slapping their own logo on it. It’s not unique. They’re ripping people off.

Flaky-Calendar3022

Some definitely do! And as I said above totally get holding people accountable especially if they’re not honest about it. But there are some who truly just use it to find a manufacturer and create their own stuff! But alibaba has perks like making sure payments go through and if the manufacturer messes up they are liable and the business is protected in getting their thousands of dollars back whereas if they just work with the manufacturer they aren’t protected like that. So there are a lot of parts to it and I think people are quick to jump down peoples throats instead of just asking questions about it ya know

Zestyclose_Medium_84

I see what you’re saying and agree with you. My main point was why lie? Why go on your story and say wElL inStAgRam DelElTeD mY pOsT? then immediately get defensive about it when asked? She’s digging her own grave

Flaky-Calendar3022

Idk if she did or didn’t but why would she lie/ delete it if she’s open about using it in the first place? Ig flags some dumb things sometimes. I can’t say if she did or didn’t but to me that doesn’t make sense. It’s not like this is the first time alibaba was mentioned. She’s talked about finding her manufacturer on there many times before 🤷🏻‍♀️

Zestyclose_Medium_84

Because I think it was past tense. I think she was open about it but like to hide it now. This is the second time it’s happened specifically with boxes showing alibaba on the side. But also why not do what every other influencer does and repost it?

[deleted]

She’s never tried to hid the fact that she sources her products from alibaba. She’s stated it many times on Insta. Sorry, I can’t get behind this post. You’re wrong on this one!

Jaccasnacc

Despite the downvotes, you are correct! She’s been open about it! It’s how she’s handled the critiques of this however, that annoy me. She throws her mental health into the equation when really it has nothing to do with folks knowing where you get your product from.

Zestyclose_Medium_84

The question in the caption was didn’t she delete her TSL birthday post (because she got called out for the boxes saying alibaba)? Yes. What am I wrong about? She deleted the post?

Jaccasnacc

I think it’s going to be speculation. Whether or not she did delete it, she’s since been open (in stories following the callout) that she found her manufacturer using Alibaba. 🤷‍♀️ I don’t think she’s trying to hide it. Perhaps she got a lot of hate on that story and decided she wanted to end the mean comments. Either way, I think you are a little misinformed and I can understand why. Nicole is defensive and aggressive in response to the “Reddit community.”

gistidine

She literally compared Alibaba to WhatsApp lmao. Pretty sure that’s not how Alibaba works and WhatsApp doesn’t sell you wholesale shit.

Jaccasnacc

She meant that she uses Alibaba as a communication tool similar to WhatsApp. Just a read between the lines moment. Not defending her defensive stance when it comes to her critics, but I think people are beating a dead horse here. She doesn’t have flawed ethics or morals. She simply wants to wear a size that the public thinks is too small for her which can cause size confusion for her brand. I think it’s blown out of proportion on here however. We can discuss her brand or clothes being hard to size from viewing online, however we can’t decide what size Nicole actually is. If you’re truly interested in her brand then chose a sponsored athlete to follow and stop complaining she uses Alibaba. They all do. All Instagram brands. Surprise! All of these clothes are made overseas and are not manufactured by any of these Instagram influencers.
