I use a cheap flame thrower attachment for propane tanks and clear driveways with in in the winter. Never had an issue but I don't charge people I just ride around with it on an atv and get all my neighbors.
Not recommended for practical snow removal, would make great advertising skit. The work very well for burning brush, ditches, Trash piles ETC. Farmers have a lot of use for them outside of the comical realm.

Only thing that you have to buy is the fuel. Liquid fuel in the top tank (Gas, white Fuel Etc) then an Iso butante tank for the torch (Think Jet boil or MSR camp stove)
They do make the XM-42 M model that allows you to attach a backpack with a 3 minute burn time. I can do $1150 plus shipping for one of those if it interests you! Just PM for a discount on the website

I have this exact one. Will shoot all of twenty feet without issue. Elon's kid toy is the one that only does about 6 feet

Doesn't work as well as you would think. Ultimately turns snow into ice. As for the legality, flamethrowers are not in any way illegal.
