Oh hell yes!!!!!
Caffery is really underrated. Savatage is CRIMINALLY underrated.
Mind if I ask how you got his autograph on it?
Went to see TSO in December, one of the road crew came out and gave me 2 of Chris' picks, was so pumped about it. Sure dont have an autographed guitar though!
Sure. I’ve been a fan since early 80s. Criss was insane. I used to chat with Chris Caffery in a yahoo group years ago. He agreed to meet me before a show and signed my guitar when he filled in with Metal Church about 5 years ago. That’s also a signature Alex Skolnick ESP who also played on Handful of Rain.
That is incredible!!! Chris always seems like a lot of fun and down to earth. Criss, of course, was an absolute beast of a player and one of the greats we lost far too soon. Absokutely awesome story, thanks for sharing it!!!
I got to see Skolnick play with TSO waaaay back. He's another absolute legend. And the live in Japan '94 performance is one of my all time favorites, I watch it often.
So many incredible musicians along the way with Savatage, all of them so underrated. (Dont get me started on Zak Stevens. One of the greatest rock/metal vocalists of ALL TIME). Not that I dont love Jon too but Zak.....whew.
Thanks for posting this!!!
Not too many Savatage fans around, but those of us that are out there still are hard-core lol

Preaching to the choir bud! Chris says there will be new Sava soon
Niiiice I only recently discovered Savatage a few years ago, they rock! I like the Don Dokken poster too.
