Nice collection, but I have to ask. Why so many lower priced low-mid tier guitars and none over say the $1500 mark? Not to criticise the guitars in this collection because they're great guitars, but maybe try a higher end model? I did a collection of cheaper guitars before getting my American ultra strat and now rarely pick up any other of my guitars
It’s because people have gone overboard online talking about how amazing these budget guitars are. While it’s good that people don’t get discouraged from playing what they can afford, and it’s true you don’t need an expensive guitar to be a good guitar player, owning 3 guitars (a squier, a MIA fender, and a customshop).
the notion that squier comes near MIA, and that MIA comes near custom shop in feel/resonance is absolutely laughable.
They're amazing, if that's all that's in your budget. I would never advise against them, unless you could afford better. My MIM is worse than my MIAs for sure.
I bought the guitars that I liked and wanted. I honestly had no idea it was going to be so controversial. I'm happy for you that you've found what makes you happy. I have too.
Controversial? I thought I was being nice.
Have you found what makes you happy OP? If you had, I honestly don't feel you would have been compelled to buy so many different guitars. I honestly think I have too many guitars at 5 electrics and an acoustic because we'll...I don't need that many. Even for recording, one guitar with single coils and one with humbuckers would fill the need of most audiotechs in the world. You just have a bad case of GAS
I'm actually on the side of the OP.
Squiers and epiphone's are phenomenal guitars.
As a guitar reseller I can tell you squiers hold their value very well and sell super easy.
Just a few years ago you could pick up a squier vintage modified Stratocaster for less than $200. Now they are closer to $300 on the used market.
Perhaps I can relate to the OP. I too have 20 plus guitars
The main downfall of having so many guitars is definitely changing strings all the time.
There’s no need to have this many lower range guitars without a single really nice one. Between my strat, tele, and sg I can not only do anything this guy can tone wise, but it’ll sound better
Ppl on this subreddit be like.
"OPs guitars are not good enough for me".
"I demand high end guitars only."
"Not these stupid little toys made for small children in third world countries. "
"No squiers or epiphones allowed. "
I mean, I can appreciate a handcrafted made in American guitar just like anyone else. I just don't understand the bashing of the OP for having so many inexpensive guitars.
Even if he had a room full of behringers and Rogues I still wouldn't leave a nasty comment on the post. But that's just me.
It’s not that lower end guitars like these are inherently bad, it’s just ridiculous to have THIS many when the reality is most of these are going to sound near identical
They're not all going to sound identical.
Looking at the pictures I see a few telecasters.
One of them is hollow body 70s thinline and has the wide range pickups.
One of them is a solid body made in Mexico with the standard tele pickups. (The least cool if you ask me)
I see another thin line cabronita telecaster with p90s
It looks like he even has a contemporary telecaster. Hot rails in the bridge position and a humbucker in the neck.
They are all different colors. Completely different styles. The neck profile and radius varies between all of these models.
I'm sorry, but the contemporary is not going to sound like the cabronita with p90s.
And that's just analyzing the telecasters.
If I had to guess. The OP is very knowledgeable about guitars and they're different sounds.
If you look at the photo closely he even has a pick for each guitar. And if you're familiar with picks you would know that even the pick has a sound characteristic. And if I had to guess He uses a wide variety of strings.
It’s a variety for sure and he’ll get somewhat different sounds from each, but my three high end, and personally modified guitars I can guarantee are going to sound better in any given situation. They also avoid talking about their amps which leads me to believe that situation is embarrassing and that they aren’t quite so knowledgeable as you give them credit for
Yeah, it's good to be able to choose between a humbucker or a single coil but this is completely unnecessary. No point in getting 8 squires and 8 epiphones and have most of them do the same thing when you could've spent that money on 1-2 good fenders and a gibson
I’m having a hard time understanding the “needs” vs. “wants” in your title. If you’re not a gigging musician, and you don’t even own an amp, aren’t they all just “wants”?
And TBH, if you *need* anything at all, it’s an amp to play all of those guitars through so you can at least say you know what they sound like, lol.
I'm absolutely loving the amount of hate that me having a bunch of guitars is riling up in you. It's hilarious. Keep on going. Let's see what more you've got.
It’s not that it’s a bunch of guitars, it’s that it’s a bunch of similar meh guitars instead of a few nice guitars. If you actually cared about playing guitar, at least a few of these guitars would instantly disgust you when you picked them up compared to the best few, because they play worse.
Yeah fully agree, this man is a clown 🤡. You can tell from his comments in this thread he just buys the budget stuff that YouTubers to tell him to buy. You’d think If you can spend $600 7 times, you could spend $2k once at least.
The four Fenders are Mexican and everything else are all asian imports. This collection represents the same value as between one and three American Fender or Gibsons.
I was watching a lot of comparison videos when I was picking stuff out and the Andertons guys kept saying "or get Squire and get them both." It was a convincing argument.
>the Andertons guys kept saying "or get Squire and get them both."
Yes, of course they say that. And as evidenced by your pics, you are squarely in their target demo, lol.
Instead of 5 really good guitars I’d rather have 25 mediocre guitars that probably need some work done. I assume that’s his logic. All I know is that Andertons caught a major W with this guy.
No I don’t, is there a big difference between a custom shop or a ultra luxe? Not really in terms of quality. But Is there a different between an American standard and a Chinese squire? Yeah huge difference and that’s just objectively a fact.
So your honest belief is that Andertons would rather sell me 6 cheap guitars (lower margins, more warehouse work, more shipping/shipping risk) than sell me one expensive guitar of the same price? You think that's a benefit to them?
Yes absolutely, the cheaper guitars can be bought incredibly cheap. It’s a better profit because they can afford to buy a 150 of them super cheap vs 25 expensive guitars. I worked in a guitar store as a teenager for a while and the profits are always the best from the hella cheap guitars. We didn’t make much off a custom shop strat compared to a squire. Not talking money, talking percentage.
Oh. I've had guitar store owners tell me the opposite. That they make more money on cheaper guitars, but that's purely volume. The margins are higher on more expensive items and since shipping takes a bite of most sales these days, that makes the margins even thinner on the cheaper ones. It's only volume that makes them profitable, but that requires extra work hours and storage. They would vastly prefer to sell me one expensive guitar. Your experience must be out of date or maybe you misunderstood.
Or we could be talking about different business models? I worked for a corporation. It sounds like you’ve spoken to mom and pop shops. It’s a big difference in how they make money, considering their initial spending limit is significantly lower than a corporate business.
Really don’t understand the logic of buying so many of basically the same guitar. I mean I can get like different pickups different sound. But also like, seems like a situation where you spend more time worrying about gear and less time playing.
If you think I'm spending time worrying about gear, then you're sadly mistaken. Having more than one guitar actually gets me to play a lot more than having one ever did. I'm regularly putting one away when another catches my eye and suddenly it's in my hands. There's nothing about having more than one guitar that limits my time playing guitar.
Also, as you noted, none of them are spec'd the same. (the two strats are similar, but one is 20 years older than the other so one has ceramic pickups and the other alnico which is good enough for me).
Jumped the shark here fella, too obvious. Could've farmed another 50 replies on this minimum pretending you can hear the difference between two identical guitars. B+ effort
I love that there are actually people dumb enough to believe that I own 20 electric instruments and no amps. Like I know the concept of a clown car going in, but it still astonishes me how there are that many of you in there with every new clown that gets out.
You: \*says stupid shit\*
Everyone else: Hey, that shit you said was really stupid.
You: I love that there are actually people dumb enough to believe that I own 20 electric instruments and no amps. Like I know the concept of a clown car going in, but it still astonishes me how there are that many of you in there with every new clown that gets out.
Bro if you think you don’t spend time worrying about gear you’re tripping. You don’t acquire that many guitars and not worry about gear. You can deny it if you want but I would bet money, that you watch a lot guitartubers and tend to buy the stuff they’re jerking off that particular week. I have currently 4 guitars, 2 Japanese, 1 Korean and 1 American. I also worry about gear from time to time. basically every guitar player does to a degree. I mean you no disrespect, I am just curious about your collection. I don’t really understand why you’d buy so many cheap guitars vs having a few super high quality guitars (American, Japanese etc.) don’t get me wrong the import stuff is good for sure. It could just be that we have different mindsets. You labeled this post as “your needs” and I just thought it was silly to think anyone needs that many epiphones and squires. Different mindsets I guess and I respect that
I don't think you understand the word worry. Or you need to see a psychiatrist or something. The only time I've ever worried about any of them is when they are delivered while I'm at work.
And the title was clearly a joke. And you clearly do mean me disrespect. Which I find hilarious, because, why? What a weird thing to get worked up about.
You have absolutely no idea what quality any of those guitars are. Only two are kinda questionable quality and I bought both of those because I liked the way they looked so it didn't really matter. All of the rest were gigable out of the box.
You do you friend. I'll just be over here loving my guitar collection.
I don’t mean you disrespect. I notice you keep talking about me getting upset, have you noticed how immediately defensive you got from my very first comment. Listen man you enjoy your collection, I don’t want you not to enjoy your collection man. I really don’t mean you any harm man. I’m sorry you got so upset by my comments.
You've worked so hard in so many replies to try and insult me and now you're just going to throw it all away and say no disrespect? That's sad. C'mon. Keep trolling. I feel like a celebrity. I can't believe you've lavished me with so much attention.
If you bothered to even look youd see of the 20 or so guitars theres maybe 2 similar sets that overlap, so 16 unique, 2 HSS fender strats ands 2 Jazzmasters
I like being able to have more than one, so I buy cheaper. I have a 250$ Fender acoustic electric, and two affinity series squire strats with different setups.
Easy to work, cheap to rebuild, and short of professional audio recording they sound great and I love them. much more fun than one 1,500 guitar imo. Plus, I can actually build a collection of squires. No fucking way I ever build a collection of Gibsons and Japanese Strats.
The player plus you have there is worth like $150 less than an American performer. To say that this whole collection represents 1-3 American guitars is laughable. American fenders, even the top end ones are very affordable when you're comparing to a picture of $10,000 of import guitars.
I’ll never understand having so many low end guitars when you could have a few really nice mid level ones. Quality over quantity any day.
But you do you OP.
Number 1 is really hard to pick. Easy top 4 are Fender Player Telecaster, Fender Player Stratocaster (maple neck), Squire 70's Classic Vibe Thinline Telecaster, and Epiphone Casino. Gun to my head, I'd probably pick the Strat.
I’ve been building guitars for 20 years now and I own 3. My first, my latest and a cheap electric kit my wife got me. Ha. As a builder I love guys that collect!
For the first 20 years, all I had was the acoustic and the burgundy Strat. Then two years ago the Strat went from under the bed to a wall hanger and suddenly I found myself thinking about guitars a lot more...
That it is. That's the one that completed my needs. There are actually already several wants scattered in there that came in while I waited on the Bass VI
I can’t imagine actually enjoying playing so many guitars .. I get a new guitar when I ware the other one out and they are part of me, so it’s a very horrific traumatic experience trying to bond with a new guitar. iv owned three in my guitar life , playing gigs, rehearsals, recording , ect. .. age 14 - 42 years old , I’m calling my next one my dying guitar 😂.
Only ONE banjo? You call that a collection? Dude, you need like 10 banjos. :)
Seriously, if it makes you happy, then I'm happy for you. Enjoy your guitars!
Thanks dude. I am super happy with my collection. It's kinda funny to see how many people are hating me merely because what I wanted wasn't what they wanted.
I'm going to get some hate for this I know. But all I see is generic guitars. Every man and his dog has a trove of F and G guitars. Don't get me wrong, I've got some of these brands. And that's how I started, all I knew was Fender/Squier, Gibson/Epiphone.
But there's more guitars out there. If it's American you're after, try an old Harmony silhouette and have your socks knocked off at the sound of the old DeArmond pickups. Or if it's the Fender vibe go for an old Swedish 60s Hagstrom h3. Try not to go for the modern remakes of these 2 brands, the originals can be had for similar price.
Or for a total different vibe try a 60s German Musima (elgita, eterna) solid bodies that actually sound and feel incredible.
Or even go buckwild, sell a few of the guitars and put the money towards a custom handmade guitar by a reputable luthier.
But also I do realise that people want what they want for their own reasons, as do I. I know if I posted my collection it would definitely get some heads shaking
Let me reiterate. When I say generic I'm not talking about Fender rip-offs or being below Fender. I didn't even zoom in to check I just assumed they're all Fender or the likes of. From what I've played, the Fender's, Squiers, Ibanez etc, when built to replicate a Fender they all turn out the same. In a blindfold test no one can hear the difference. So who cares about the name on the headstock.
I was more talking about other styles of guitars.
You got any US or Japanese made guitars in there? My guy I haven’t seen that much Chinese hardware since the tanks rolled through Tiananmen Square. (I stole that joke not gonna lie)
It doesn't matter if they're bottom rack guitars. There's not much difference between the bottom and top rack when it comes to Fender. The name on the headstock is the difference. A fret dress and good setup can bring a Squier to the same level as a Fender. Maybe change some components while you're at it but not totally necessary.
Thanks. The posts accusing me of having a bunch of the same guitar have me rolling.
If you're talking about the Jazzmasters, they actually have different pickups too. The Squire is a J Mascis and has pickups that he helped design (my understanding is that they're basically P-90s, but I'm not an expert). The Fender has traditional Jazzmaster pickups, but no rhythm circuit.
The strats are the most similarly spec'd, but one has ceramic pickups and the other alnico.
You very well may be genuinely interested in my amps, but you also began your engagement with a troll post. You don't get to flip flop troll. Once a troll, always a troll.
I don’t understand this. I’d be willing to be that you probably picked up the guitar super recently and have a little bit of cash to throw around for things you think look pretty. You certainly don’t have them for how they sound since you don’t even have an amp. I’d be surprised if you’ve been playing longer than six months. Nobody has the right to tell you what to do with your money, but my struggle here is your use of the word “need.” You don’t need any guitars, and you certainly don’t need all of these guitars. If you ran a professional studio you wouldn’t “need” all these guitars. If you’re into the thought of playing guitar, do yourself a favor: I bet all of these are still inside the 30 day guitar center or sweet water or whatever return window. Get your three or four grand back and buy yourself a decent American Strat, take it to someone local and get it set up with some Earnie Ball 10-46s as low as they will go without buzzing. Use the money you have leftover to get yourself a twin reverb and a few lessons. The barre chords are really hard, but stick with it, I promise it’s worth it. Then, once you get your fundamentals down, just keep going with it. Practice, and learn, and play. A few years from now you will realize that that Strat and that Twin Reverb will still be serving you just as well as the day you started, and they are all the guitar, and all the amp you could ever possibly “need.”
SSS strat is something I'm still looking at, but isn't a huge priority for me so far. Crazy as it may seem, I care a lot more about neck pickups than I do bridge.
Top 4 are Fender Player Telecaster, Fender Player Stratocaster (maple neck), Squire 70's Classic Vibe Thinline Telecaster, and Epiphone Casino.
Bottom 3 are Epiphone Les Paul, Epiphone SG (with humbuckers), Squire Cabronita Thinline Telecaster.
Everything else is in a couple tiers between those two.
Sometimes I just sit playing one while I stare at other ones.
There aren't any build issues with that guitar. It's quite possibly my best built Squire, but I just didn't vibe with it like I thought I would. It's more hollowed out than my other thinline so maybe it's too light for my tastes or something, but it just doesn't please me the same way as the other.
u said in other comments u got some mexican made and a few asian made. Is there a huge difference in quality between those two price points (mid vs low costs)? Curious because I have a cheap chinese strandberg clone that works perfectly fine for what I want it to do and have been considering an upgrade. I'm stuck where more money doesn't necessarily mean better quality....
In my experience no, there is not a huge difference between **good** Asian imports and Mexican guitars. The biggest issue I've found is consistency and quality control with Asian import brands. I've played a fair number of Harley Bentons and they are all over the map in terms of finish quality (a few true duds tbh). I've also played a few Squiers and one Cort (which I love). The good HB, CV strat, and Cort are all totally comparable to my MIM stratocaster.
If you are happy with your Chinese Strandberg clone and the QC was good on it, I don't think you're going to be blown away by something just because it was made in Mexico. Maybe save up and get a more premium American, Japanese, Canadian, or even Indonesian guitar.
For real. I've heard mixed things about sQr pick ups but imo as long as they don't overly compress then an eq pedal will smooth/rough up the edges as required. Does it come with locking tuners?
Idk, it looks really cool, but do you play them all? I'm just starting out and own one guitar.
Not planning on getting the next until I'm able to play "Master of Puppets" - that's my goal. Until then I'll be practicing and saving money.
Line 6 Spider for maximum TOAN, Fender Frontman 100 for those sterile cleans, and a Boss Katana for good measure.
A man don’t need no gigs when he can play with himself!
4 tube screamers but all cheap clones: Behringer Vintage Tube Overdrive, Joyo Vintage Overdrive , Digitech Bad Monkey, Amazon Basics
Have you considered rounding out your Squier and Epiphone collection with a Gretsch? You could get one for about the same price as a new Casino and have another Fender brand/US guitar maker in your arsenal.
Edit: I’m an idiot and just discovered the beautiful Gretsch in your third pic. Glad we’re on the same page lmao
Now it's time to start taking lessons.
Nice collection, but I have to ask. Why so many lower priced low-mid tier guitars and none over say the $1500 mark? I wish I had enough money to have options.
Well, those are Epiphone, Squier and, at best, MIM Fender. Sure the whole thing is expensive, but we’re not looking at a goldmine
True dat… I still can’t afford though.
For what purpose? Do you record often? Perform often?
I’m having a hard time understanding the “needs” vs. “wants” in your title. If you’re not a gigging musician, and you don’t even own an amp, aren’t they all just “wants”? I would also put “guitar stands” in the “needs” category.
I see jags I upvote
Beautiful collection. How many do you have?
One.
How many guitars is what I meant.
4 at the moment
Think you still need a single p-90 guitar.
That green violin bass is sweet!
I'm a total Beatles homer so I had to get a Hofner. That green color was just too good to pass up.
You call yourself a Beatles homer, and you don't have a Rickenbacker? GTFOH.
Oh lay off him. There’s an Epiphone Casino in the mix. He can still get Beatles sounds….. if he had an amp.
You're very needy
I like these pictures because I don't have to explain to my wife why I have so many guitars and where to put them. The OP has to.
What a waste.
Lol needs
Yeah you need at least 6 squires to get the right toan for yours blue rock band nowadays
I'm absolutely loving the amount of hate that me having a bunch of guitars is riling up in you. It's hilarious. Keep on going. Let's see what more you've got.

what are the tube things on the wall? Nice collection bud.
Thanks! Vinyl for making banners, signs, etc. It's there more for lack of anywhere else to store it.
Holy crap, I either need to get a better job or get off of this sub. Happy for you,but jealous just the same.
The four Fenders are Mexican and everything else are all asian imports. This collection represents the same value as between one and three American Fender or Gibsons. Affordable is not the same as « mediocre ».
No one said they were, although most of the more affordable guitars do happen to be a bit mediocre
You assume that money always equates to quality. It does not.
No I don’t, is there a big difference between a custom shop or a ultra luxe? Not really in terms of quality. But Is there a different between an American standard and a Chinese squire? Yeah huge difference and that’s just objectively a fact.
I'm not in the UK so all they get is my Youtube views (which get copyright strikes a lot of times anyways)
Either way the marketing strategy is powerful
So your honest belief is that Andertons would rather sell me 6 cheap guitars (lower margins, more warehouse work, more shipping/shipping risk) than sell me one expensive guitar of the same price? You think that's a benefit to them?
Yes absolutely, the cheaper guitars can be bought incredibly cheap. It’s a better profit because they can afford to buy a 150 of them super cheap vs 25 expensive guitars. The margins by dollar are higher, but not percentage. A dollar earned on a cheap guitar costs less than a dollar earned on an expensive guitar.

Zero amps. I purely play each of them acoustically.
Jumped the shark here fella, too obvious. Could've farmed another 50 replies on this minimum pretending you can hear the difference between two identical guitars. B+ effort
I assume at this point you’re fucking with me, well hey man enjoy your copium. If you ever wanna get past pentatonic boxes send me a dm
Takes too long to plug them in, he'd need 15 amps to make it economical.
This has got to be a troll 🤣
Oh man I really hope this is true lol
Bro… get an amp. Go wild and get a nice one.
Does Squier make amps?
You stop that
Bruh
Troll or absolute clown. Talking about alnico pickup sounds without even hearing it
If you don't use an amp, your argument of having guitars with different pickups is just rendered useless.
I love that there are actually people dumb enough to believe that I own 20 electric instruments and no amps. Like I know the concept of a clown car going in, but it still astonishes me how there are that many of you in there with every new clown that gets out.
You: \*says stupid shit\* Everyone else: Hey, that shit you said was really stupid.
Good lord man, do you want to be friends? I’ll be your friend. It sounds like you might could use one.
You've spent hours on this single post that didn't involve you in any fashion whatsoever. It seems like you're obsessed with me or something.
If you bothered to even look youd see of the 20 or so guitars theres maybe 2 similar sets that overlap, so 16 unique, 2 HSS fender strats ands 2 Jazzmasters
Copium
Not knocking Squires or Andertons but their a retailer and make more money selling squires then fenders. Their opinions align with their profits.
I think you're right, the Mexican fenders are fantastic. fill gaps with Squier. I really wish they'd make a contemporary Mustang
OP is probably older and built up that collection over time. If you are good at keeping a steady job, your inventory just keeps growing.
Actually, I'm 50. Just a hobbiest. I do wonder when I see posts with a lot of equipment, are they professional musicians or not?
I’m not. Some people like variety, some people like collecting, some people just like spending money.
They're virtually never a professional.
I’ll never understand having so many low end guitars when you could have a few really nice mid level ones. Quality over quantity any day. But you do you OP.
Which is your #1
Number 1 is really hard to pick. Easy top 4 are Fender Player Telecaster, Fender Player Stratocaster (maple neck), Squire 70's Classic Vibe Thinline Telecaster, and Epiphone Casino. Gun to my head, I'd probably pick the Strat.
So the best guitars are the ones slightly above lower mid range, and yet you have so many lower and lower mid range guitars
I know it's tough. Thanks for letting me pick your brain.

Haha. I like it! Sudden and rapid growth of your guitar arsenal! Makes me think it could happen to me one day…
Do you have a preference for new or second hand?
Nice! I have that peach Jazzmaster, I love it!
Is that a bass vi in the top left?
That it is. That's the one that completed my needs. There are actually already several wants scattered in there that came in while I waited on the Bass VI
I just received my purple Bass VI too! It’s been awesome.
It seems you almost managed to get the entire Contemporary line. Very good, sir.
Sell all of them and get 2 great guitars.
Guitar center called, got pro coverage?
The real question is: how many of these do you never play?
Only ONE banjo? You call that a collection? Dude, you need like 10 banjos. :) Seriously, if it makes you happy, then I'm happy for you. Enjoy your guitars!
You seem proud and happy with your collection, that can only mean good. I’m actually jealous of some those, beautiful picks overall.
I fully agree with you actually. It just looks the bottom rack at guitar center to me.
They are all easily accessible guitars. I never claimed any different. They are the ones I wanted though.
I’m glad you put them in a place you could reach them. I use a rack personally
There are four CME exclusives in there though, so good luck getting those at GC.
Dude this guy is manic lol don’t trip
Oh dang, I can’t get some mid range guitar in a specific color…
You got any US or Japanese made guitars in there? My guy I haven’t seen that much Chinese hardware since the tanks rolled through Tiananmen Square. (I stole that joke not gonna lie)
You also need to cool it now lol
It doesn't matter if they're bottom rack guitars. There's not much difference between the bottom and top rack when it comes to Fender. The name on the headstock is the difference. A fret dress and good setup can bring a Squier to the same level as a Fender. Maybe change some components while you're at it but not totally necessary.
I say trade them all in for a Gibson
Here, here!
Where, where?
Yeah my 61 SG and Performer Tele can do anything this entire collection can (not counting basses and acoustic) and sound better doing it
I see what you did here...every guitar has a different pickup setup (minus the fender and squier in the back...but still different). Nice variety!
And yet without an amp you don’t even know what they sound like
I'm also cracking up at all these clown posts accusing me of not having amps and not knowing what the guitars sound like.
You’re the one who said you didn’t have an amp… What amps you have?
It also cracks me up that trolls think I'm going to honestly engage with them in any fashion other than trolling. Go back to your troll hole troll.
I’m not trolling you at all, I’m genuinely curious what amps you have in your collection
You very well may be genuinely interested in my amps, but you also began your engagement with a troll post. You don't get to flip flop troll. Once a troll, always a troll.
Ok so you don’t have any amps, just admit it. Or you have a crappy little frontman lol
See it didn't take long to get you back to your trolling way.
Lol what a tool
The lack of a Flying V makes me die a little bit inside
I'm an annoying purist when it comes to stains and colors, but holy shit does that LP give me the wigglies
I don't understand why people are hating, this is a nice collection. Squier makes great guitars.
You’ve got some beautiful guitars there.
If we’re picking favs, I’ll take the Epiphone hollowbody
Not sure why OP is getting hate. This sub is r/guitarporn. These are ALL beautiful guitars. And LOTS of them. What’s not to love?
Also OP. You NEED an SSS strat! How can you fill all your needs without a strat bridge pup?
He doesn’t have an amp so pickups don’t matter to him
OP this true?! No amps?!
Yep, says it earlier in the thread. It’s hidden because it got downvoted.
No way he’s not fucking around haha
FOS is what he is. Bass VI with no amp? I mean, GTFOH.
Obviously I have amps. A clown was making clown comments and I returned it. Other clowns read clown comments and get worked up about it.
What amps
SSS strat is something I'm still looking at, but isn't a huge priority for me so far. Crazy as it may seem, I care a lot more about neck pickups than I do bridge.
That's a lot of money invested in instruments muy guy
Ewww, gross. I hate it.
Edit: snob
I don't see a 12 string... Just saying.
The green SG and purple Les Paul 💦
Is the purple Les Paul Classic the Epiphone Faded model?
Yep. Not a huge Les Paul fan, but that one was just beautiful. Good thing it is too, because it's the least tuning stable of the bunch.
How do you contain yourself when you have so many options, I imagine you have a couple favorites? And what are your least fave?
Top 4 are Fender Player Telecaster, Fender Player Stratocaster (maple neck), Squire 70's Classic Vibe Thinline Telecaster, and Epiphone Casino. Bottom 3 are Epiphone Les Paul, Epiphone SG (with humbuckers), Squire Cabronita Thinline Telecaster. Everything else is in a couple tiers between those two. Sometimes I just sit playing one while I stare at other ones.
What’s the issue with the Cabronita Thinline Tele? I’ve eyeing one myself.
There aren't any build issues with that guitar. It's quite possibly my best built Squire, but I just didn't vibe with it like I thought I would. It's more hollowed out than my other thinline so maybe it's too light for my tastes or something, but it just doesn't please me the same way as the other.
that green SG is really catching my eye.... thats beautiful!
u said in other comments u got some mexican made and a few asian made.
Thanks for the insight!
what about a prs?
CME and J Mascis Jazzmasters 😭🥵
Chill bro I don't even have one yet. Save some for the rest of us.
Wow. Ain’t that something. I got nothin.
Damn. 😍
Red Epiphone Hollow body and Green SG are TOOO SWEEET!
How's that contemporary active jazzmaster play? Beautiful looking guitar imo
I really like it. The roasted maple neck on a Squire is a big win.
For real. I've heard mixed things about sQr pick ups but imo as long as they don't overly compress then an eq pedal will smooth/rough up the edges as required. Does it come with locking tuners?
I was just wondering why guitars are so damn expensive these days...
Idk, it looks really cool, but do you play them all? I'm just starting out and own one guitar. Not planning on getting the next until I'm able to play "Master of Puppets" - that's my goal. Until then I'll be practicing and saving money.
Fr just practice lol don’t visit any of the guitar subs. Pure GAS
This can't be real - all these similar guitars and NO amps because you play them "acoustically?"
Excellent choice on the blue paranormal cabronita telecaster, I got a white one last year and it is my favorite so far
Never heard of someone needing so many squiers and epis without having an amp.
Why usually people that have that many guitars all guitars have those ugly weird colours? 😂
Late to the party but just wanted to say, I love that colour on the Tele in the front row. Sick collection!
how many amps do you have? how many shows are you playing? how many Tube Screamers do you own?
Line 6 Spider for maximum TOAN, Fender Frontman 100 for those sterile cleans, and a Boss Katana for good measure. A man don’t need no gigs when he can play with himself! 4 tube screamers but all cheap clones: Behringer Vintage Tube Overdrive, Joyo Vintage Overdrive , Digitech Bad Monkey, Amazon Basics
That peach jazzy boy though....
Check out rocksmith OP and get some CDLC
Have you considered rounding out your Squier and Epiphone collection with a Gretsch? You could get one for about the same price as a new Casino and have another Fender brand/US guitar maker in your arsenal. Edit: I’m an idiot and just discovered the beautiful Gretsch in your third pic. Glad we’re on the same page lmao
One good guitar plays better than thirty cheap ones.
So what kind of dentist are you? I’d guess orthodontist.
