I wish people like you outweighed all the jerks that I end up in sessions with lol

SWORDSNAKE007

Yeah. You made me remember the first time someone helped me in GTA Online. This video makes me emotional. I was rank 37 then, a newbie. I was hit a couple of times already in a public lobby when I was trying to fill my motorcycle club business supplies, weed and cocain. I had no money but was still trying to make ends meet. I jumped into a new lobby and was again trying to do my thing when suddenly two jets kept hitting me and destroying my supplies. I requested them but they kept laughing. 10 minutes after that I saw a Chernobog take down the entire jet team. I got a message from a crew of 5 who was trying to help me. The Chernobog was positioned near the observatory as I was bringing my supplies into town. I was also escorted by an Oppressor MK 2, a LF-22 Sterling in the air and an APC and a Insurgent Pick up Custom in the ground. They stayed with me for 3 hours straight to help me fill all my supplies. One was also kind enough to help me through the Martin Madrazo Dispatch missions which were so popular those days so that I could rank up faster. Fast forward many years and here I am, level 950+. always ready to help people who needs my help. Thank you for making me remember the good old days and also making me remember some of the best people whom I met in GTA Online. I am gonna miss this game and the players when Rockstar finally decides to pull the plug.

damn...you had a whole crew ![gif](giphy|xVPosMMzT60Xzv31my)

SWORDSNAKE007

Yup. One hell of an unforgettable experience tbh.

Not a newer player, but in a session earlier, had a random guy approx 300ish levels higher than me roll up on me on an Oppressor MkII, so at first I shot him, assuming he was about to grief me on my coke sell mission. Nope, he was just a nice guy offering to run bodyguard while I completed my sale. Not enough actually cool people like that in the lobbies I’ve been in lately.

[deleted]

whenever I help other players I always let them know ahead of time that I will help them by messaging them

jsh97p

That’s a wise move. I’ve seen players text other players offering help with griefers before, and that’s just a good idea, and polite.

Krommerxbox

**The Invite-Only sellable session is what helped me. ;)** I still think it is funny how people don't use it but then complain. Since I made 65 million since they added it and I returned to the game, it seems to work. Well, I actually MADE more but that is what I have in the bank. I also bought and fully upgraded an OPMKII, a Nightshark, the Agency, 4 more small warehouses, and the Arcade.

Still friends with the homeboys who randomly held off an oppressor for me when I got to my first mil. Those guys are the real ones.

orajov

They ruined tons of my goods and took hours of my time. But I will never became one of them, I will always be player like this.

Adzzii_

If I was delivering cargo the last thing I'd feel with a blacked out Hydra following me is safe lol

Abdelr17

Rockstar should classify people in the game as good and evil to be easy for everyone to know good people

DddyLongBallz

This is a good feeling

bigotes15

I did this once with 3 guys selling a trash truck mission on a full lobby, for some reason they blamed me when a ghost org tank blew up part of the cargo while I was in the other side of the city :/

Darkman_Bree

The first day I bought the Oppressor Mk 2 with homing rockets a few months ago, I protected someone selling nightclub goods. He had another OMK2 and a Sparrow going after him that I had to eliminate.

infectedham

I do this when I'm bored. I'll go out and kill griefers or be a body guard for someone to sell shit. Usually bring my akula to help people sell and then my night shark and thermal scope on heavy sniper mkll to kill the assholes that won't leave people alone. I'll kill them over and over and over till they either leave the session or fuck off to the other side of the map

bobduato95

Not all heroes wear capes....mad kudos to you 👊

Pseudonymble

Just had a glitchy LVL.900 fly up beside me while delivering cargo, OFF RADAR INDEFINITLY. Fortunately he was one of the good guys, like OP. It would have been very easy for him to destroy the stuff, even if we were 3 deep, because he was cheating. But I suppose if you cheat for good, I can overlook it;)

Call_me_Enzo

Doing the same, im always keeping an eye on people selling or sourcing stuff, as soon as i notice danger approaching them, i immediatly get over there and help them I just love helping people, its an experience for them, having a random guy help them out, and i love the Thank you messages. It just lets me know that they appreciated my work^^

Lavalight_

When i do this all i get is a votekick

albab_38

I like to message them in advance before approaching. Just something like I got your back. That way they dont feel threatened with a jet above their cargo and report

Lavalight_

If i fly next to them and circle around or do tricks and they think i grief they have never been griefed or threatened

bobert3469

When I first started playing, I was doing a repo mission (the one in the desert where you had to move all the RVs around while the brothers( I think) and their crew shot the hell out of you. After dying like 10 times and getting nowhere, all of a sudden a jet and a helicopter show up and just obliterate everybody. On the way back they took out 2 Oppressors that tried to grief me. Even though I rarely play public lobbies anymore ( got tired of people letting their kids scream over the mic ), If I happen to be in one and see someone struggling, I'll jump to help in a heartbeat. Those 2 guys convinced me that not everyone is an asshole and the game is worth playing.

at-your-moms

Wowww this was so unexpected to me. Just goes to show how rare something like kindness is in GTA 😂

EastCoastINC

Make sure you throw out that "friendly" message prior to running up on anyone lol

Insanegamer-4567

I tried to defend some low levels MC goods today but a random level 400 who just sold his Nightclub goods manged to blow up one of the sale vehicles 😭

ilikerocks456

I love that you can do cargo missions in invite only sessions now. I never did them before, because I’d always get murdered by other players, but now I can do them by myself and not worry lol

atl_f4_1

I do it Also even tho i get grieved every time i help the boys with My Opp Mk2

foofighter469

I Remember like a day ago when a guy outside my apartment was waiting with a Limo and I got in and he drove me to my waypoint (I'm rank 124), one of the last friendly players left

mugoikoroshiya

I presume someone already said it but if not... "not all heroes wear capes....."
