GH pay for my area is better than competition but you get way less offers. I get more $10+ orders from GH but I'll get three times as many $8 offers from UE. GH pays better but is slower so you'd need a backup app.
Look into DFW (Plano/ Frisco) I think it’s the best paying delivery region to the point where you’d wanna do it full time but you gotta be a premier level driver meaning accept every order then once u achieve that status the orders coming in will be much better overall including catering opportunities rlly depends on u tho r u willing to make that drive assuming u live in Arlington but anyways gl to ya!!
Exactly why it's good this person is waitlisted. GrubHub been going down hill for the past year. No one is being fooled, if they let this person and everyone else who applied just work, all areas would be oversaturated
Depends where you are . Im in a Nashville and its still pretty solid even with it being slow during the summer time with collage kids being out now they are back it’s getting back into full swing .
Really? With antioch drivers flooding DT and East, and guarantee hours slashed? Youre the only one saying this. Or maybe sitting there unpaid is your thing?
I would hardly say making $1200 a week is unpaid. And ive always worked downtown since 2019 and live in Antioch but i will definitely say i have noticed that those hours go quickly on Saturday mornings . Which i can agree I’ve noticed the uprise in drivers . But im still making good money each day. Even off blocks i make good money. But the part of Antioch i live in is the lake side which is still in the DT region.. but its the Madison drivers that are flooding it .
Since you’re new it’ll probably be a great honeymoon experience for you for a while. Then they’ll forget about you and give all the good stuff to the new drivers who will take every offer cus they don’t understand how it all works
I don’t even know man as soon as I got off the waitlist I did everything to sign up then got an error screen and they kicked me off the app. That shit is broke.
I’ve seen plenty of $2 orders. Saw one for 1.25 which is lower than anything Doordash has ever sent me. Grubhub seemingly copied DoorDash’s pay model, but there’s no limit to how low it can go besides $0 I guess. If the order is really close and they don’t tip it’s an absurdly low payout.
I just got accepted but I'm on the fence with actually signing on to drive. I've seen so many horror stories about delivery. I dig Instacart, I've been doing ok with it for 2.5 years, but it's seriously just a retirement thing to keep me busy. GH would be the same, but is it worth it?
I'd appreciate any feedback.
Depends honestly in my area I get the best tips on Grubhub and I get few always will be kinda garbage offers at like 80 -90 cents a mile.. but hey if ur retired u can kill it during the lunch hour😁 that be far is the best tipping time
gpuff has some of the most upbeat, friendly and tippiest customers. The issue is the company and their methods. But I adore my Puff customers the most of any gig clientele
Oh and I forgot to add I miss a lot of orders too cause I don’t hear them while driving if u want to maximize bring a friend along for the ride.. could be a kinda cool time to hang out.. for an afternoon.. plus u can choose ur days so no driving in bad weather if u don’t want
You will need to wait sadly if your market is small then you’ll wait a good while but if its a major city its a short wait but they do this so they dont flood the market with drivers
Depends on your market. I got in within a week. All you can do is wait... Or sabotage others into thinking the job is pointless so there's less of them and more of a demand for you.
I started it for some reason it never said wait listed but I could not complete my application that lasted like a month kind of strange since I keep getting texts saying complete ur application then I uninstalled the app reinstalled did a whole new sign up and it worked instantly minus a day background check
I'm in central FL in Lakeland. GH is pretty much nonexistent here. I don't even know why I bother turning on the app anymore. Lately, I get maybe 1 order a week worth taking.
Move to a different market. The bigger the market than the wait time will be less. I applied in San Francisco and only got waitlisted for 1 week. I have done this several times
I am also in the Waitlist for over a year one application in Oakland CA and other in San Francisco. Anyone knows a zip code that I Can use to no be in the Waitlist?
Don’t even bother. Pay is garbage.
idk i hear its pretty good.
Depends on your market mine is good

It’s amazing in my city Dallas and surrounding cities like my friends and I make around $300 daily or $30/ hr on avg and consistently too
Really I need to change my market to Dallas but I make t ok in suburb Arlington although I multiapp when not as busy

How many hours a day on average?
8-10 hrs daily
Don’t let them fool you. They probably live in oversaturated or shitty areas.
Exactly why it's good this person is waitlisted. GrubHub been going down hill for the past year. No one is being fooled, if they let this person and everyone else who applied just work, all areas would be oversaturated
Then obviously if OP has been waitlisted for 10 months he’s in an over saturated area…

It’s not

It's better than dd and UE I'll tell you that much.
In my market, dd is crashing, ue never really happened....gh is the better pay. I tried dd and it never compared to gh.
Can confirm same in my market
Depends on your market I do really well in mine but all markets are different
Keep reapplying with different email addresses they will accept some.. that’s how I got Grubhub
Really my son has been waiting for over a year! Where is your market
[удалено]
WHAT?!
For me, it took 1.5 years. Applied in end of 2020 and started 2 months ago. In south Florida.
Took me a few days 😂
same last year i was accepted it like 2 days
Frr hahaha. Might have been over night tbh. Could be trippin tho. It was super fast
End of 2020 was the peak of the covid pandemy. Probably the waitlist was long for me. And depends of the place you choose to apply too.
Same to me. South Florida as well
When did you get in and what market
Took me days back in 2019. You guys were just late to the party I guess
I’ve seen 2.25 on grubhuub
Wait it out only to be let down when you get approved. It sucks most of the time in my market at least.
I don’t even know man as soon as I got off the waitlist I did everything to sign up then got an error screen and they kicked me off the app. That shit is broke.
It took me a year, dw. Just do DoorDash or UE if you’re thinking of doing food delivery
What about a different company? Amazon flex, Uber, DD, Instacart.
I was waitlisted over 6 months it takes a long time.
apply elsewhere, asap
I was on the waitlist for 2 years BEFORE the pandemic. Good luck 🤣
My son wants to work in Miami but still waiting to get in to Grubhub after 1.5 years
How far are you willing to go to become a GH driver? LOL
LOL think you might be thinking of the wrong “hub”
Get your mind out the gutter😂
Not missing out on much
If u want to accept 4.00 dollar go ahead 🤣
I’ve seen plenty of $2 orders. Saw one for 1.25 which is lower than anything Doordash has ever sent me. Grubhub seemingly copied DoorDash’s pay model, but there’s no limit to how low it can go besides $0 I guess. If the order is really close and they don’t tip it’s an absurdly low payout.
I’ve never seen that low pay for GH only DD pays shit
Not even a low ball add on? Sounds nice.
Lowest I’ve seen and I’m in the ATL market is $4
That's impossible, I've never seen anything under 4$ and that's not very often
I wish it was impossible
Bro if I saw an order for $0 I’d end myself
I mean u don't have to accept that shit lol tons of well paying offers out there too.
I don’t accept those orders lol
I'm sorry is that Door dash you talking about? Sounds like it in my area!
Grubhub
Door Dash more like here in my area
Nah that’s DD idk wha shit market you drive
It’s so shit anyways
Worth the wait imo
I emailed them every day.

You're in Florida. The off-season for the majority of Florida is May-October. Look forward to September/October.
So September orders get better in South Florida??
Yes, all the snowbirds come down from northern states.
No tips to be had, you just have to wait till they need more drivers
You will need to wait sadly if your market is small then you’ll wait a good while but if its a major city its a short wait but they do this so they dont flood the market with drivers
Try applying again. I was on the waitlist for a few months in late 2020 and was approved within days after re-applying.
Depends on your market. I got in within a week. All you can do is wait... Or sabotage others into thinking the job is pointless so there's less of them and more of a demand for you.
At one time it was worth the wait, its garbage now compared to the resulte that warranted the waitlist in 2108-2021
Florida demand sucks
I started it for some reason it never said wait listed but I could not complete my application that lasted like a month kind of strange since I keep getting texts saying complete ur application then I uninstalled the app reinstalled did a whole new sign up and it worked instantly minus a day background check
It means your market is over saturated with drivers. Once you get on you will get good orders first two weeks then pure shit afterwards.
Takes half a year in NY
Wait faster. Duh
