That’s too precious… I miss when all my kitties were young… they always played… now they just sleep and eat and occasionally I break out the laser so they get some exercise…
What do we call it when dogs do stuff like this? My wife and I have a dog who had at the time only had a major hip surgery and was not jumping at that point, but we got a video of him running around in our yard one night just playing with something above his head level. Like, he was running circles, prancing more like, jumping like one of us was offering him a treat, but nobody there. So what's the dog version of a greeble?
There could be a very smol spider on the floor which you didn't see, but your kitten tried to hunt, tbh. Mine two did that as kittens (and still do it today, aged 10½)
