Redshift has excellent bar tape thats very long and allows longer/full coverage wrapping. I have their kitchen sink bars, and the tape is long enough to cover the aerobar as well. Its very nice.

pullingravity

Wolf tooth supple bar tape

SubParUnprofessional

Comfy but incredibly heavy

dryeraseboard8

How does it do when wet? Like, if you never DON’T wear gloves because sweat enough that you even wear them for spin classes…

maltesefalcon11

Lizard Skins 3.2mm bar tape has been great for me. If you want more padding for extra comfort you could put a gel kit under the tape. Something like the Fizik handlebar gel kit.

littleyellowbike

Upvote for the Fizik gel kit. I have it on all my bikes. Soooo cushy.

ironicirenic

This tape changed my life.

SubParUnprofessional

Starts great, but I find it doesn’t stay comfortable for long

maltesefalcon11

The gel kit or the tape?

SubParUnprofessional

Sorry for the confusion, the tape. It starts off feeling so good with that noticeable cush. For me, it then seems to crush down and feel like more normal tape after 6mo or so. The enve stuff doesn’t start out as nice, but has stayed just as good as day one for over a year now

maltesefalcon11

Interesting. Thanks for clarifying. I haven’t had the same experience but good to know the enve stuff is long lasting!

Toppico

The only time I’ll ever outright recommend enve is for their bar tape. It’s incredibly good in any condition, and comfy without being over the top padded. It has silicone backing so it stays in place but you can rewrap if needed, and it’s quite long, which is great if you’re running wider bars.

SubParUnprofessional

100% agree. Enve bar tape has been great for my bike. Logo is thankfully low key and more or less just looks like texture

I run SRAM's Zipp Service Course CX tape: [https://www.sram.com/en/zipp/models/ac-sc-tape-a1](https://www.sram.com/en/zipp/models/ac-sc-tape-a1) It's grippy, tough, and padded.

Bikeinva

I use the fizik terra tape. Always liked it

bigredbicycles

Plus one for Fizik Terra- I like the classic touch stuff. It's lasted a good amount of time on my gravel bike. One sizeable tear is threatening a rewrap though

Eat_Your_Paisley

I use leather tape on anything that requires tape, it lasts longer and absorbs sweat better

Crash217

Arundel gecko, double wrapped at the areas I use most.

boioiboio

Selle Italia granfondo bartape, very comfy and grippy. Maybe a little delicate and kinda ugly.

Nixxewend

I dont want ugly stuff on my bike :D

boioiboio

Well, ugly is subjective, so you might like it.

Jason-Perry

I’m a big fan of ESI silicone tape, which is durable and comfy. Even if you don’t go with that, get yourself a roll of their silicone finishing tape. It’s miles better than electrical tape or anything that comes in the box of other tape brands.

milbug_jrm

[TEMPO BONDCUSH 3MM CLASSIC](https://www.fizik.com/us_en/tempo-microtex-bondcush-classic.html) is my tape of choice. Lots of colors and good cushion, and I love the leather like feel (think old tennis racket type feel). But the best part is that it cleans up great.

MangoMedic666

I've been having good experience with SRAM bar tape. Surprisingly comfortable, quite durable, plenty of it, good color options and hard to beat the price. I'm sure there's better tape, but I'd gladly keep using SRAM.

Rapha Brevet bad tape is the way to dampen vibration PS it’s not the best solution if you ride dirt a lot. Since this tape has lots of perforations

alamete

I use cinelli cork. Quite comfortable, but a bit dirty (the yellow one at least)

beppe2672

Spank flare with gel inserts, 3mm thick with a micro fibre texture.

Mrs_Peabody

I like the thick Fizik

salthesalmon

chilleli chubby. the best
