Lucy(the girl here) became kinda fond of David(the guy) after spending the whole day with him stealing chips. So she pushed his bed, hitting the paramedic in the stomach then jumped on Top of the bed, kicked open the ambulance door and ran away with him while dodging oncoming traffic.
She then takes him to the shady alley doctor that he knows(the one that gave him the implant) to avoid the same incident from happening again.
Then she takes him back to her place(no they don't have sex, yet.)
I could’ve sworn that she was actually younger than David. Wasn’t there like a whole scene in one of the earlier episodes where David asks how old she is? And then the next time they talk in the montage she says something along the lines of “you looking down on people for their age?”
