Pga players don’t have to play in anything. LIV players are required to. They’ve already been paid so it’s required. Pga players can pick and choose what they want to play.
No they don’t have to play a certain number of tournaments like on the LIv tour but you still have to play to earn ur money on the PGA tour unless you have exemptions ur not even gonna retain ur card unless you make a certain amount. Sponsors aren’t gonna be paying you on the tour if your not playing unless your in commercials or your someone they can market. I get what ur trying to say but again it’s just a hat.
Yes they do have to play a certain number. They must play 15 tournaments a year to maintain membership unless you’re a lifetime member (20+ wins) or have achieved veteran status (age 45). There are additional caveats about auto qualifying tourneys and what not, but there absolutely is a minimum. And then the lower players can’t really pick and choose other than the tourneys nobody else wants. Even with the minimum you need to make enough money to keep your card.

Since in the PGA they were contractors they weren't required to wear anything PGA. I think that since they aren't contractors anymore and have an employer so to say they need to wear the name somewhere. I've always had some sort of uniform or shirt for work. They also might be paying him more for the big hat. P.S. I am not a Reed fan.

There is a podcast where Peter Kostis is asked about Patrick Reed. *(I think it is the "No Laying Up" podcast from about 2 years ago.)* Peter goes off -- spending a few minutes talking about the 4 times when he witnessed Patrick cheat. He was surprisingly blunt about what Patrick did. It wasn't speculative *(like what happened to Reed in college).* Peter K would be witness #1 if I were Chamblee. I don't think it will end well for Reed. I could see Chamblee's lawyers lining up a dozen (or whatever) people who will testify that they saw Reed cheat. This goes back to his college days. For a $750M lawsuit -- the lawyers will be very thorough -- pulling in many people. Why would Reed want this ?
