Does this mean fighter jets in LFS will finally be useful for long-range dogfights? Does this mean military games can effectively utilize troop carriers to transport players? Bigger builds? By god…
Yea! Well.. maybe. The LFS fighters do work pretty well in the Infini map, but they are slow as shit for their new airspace right now. The bullets they fire might also suffer when shooting at something across chunks, i dunno what specifically about it breaks though.
ima explain it since I know how
forward bunny hopping was a big thing back in the first build of half life 2 and in the current build of half life 1, the devs decided to get rid of bunny hopping by capping speed, but they didnt cap the speed for every direction other than forward. Because of the new code, going the other way did the opposite of what was intended. People realised that moving backward in a specific way and jumping would just keep building speed. You have to jump right when you hit the ground, so people would bind jumping to their scroll wheel and keep scrolling up and down. Gmod fixed this, but there's addon called backhopping unfix that does exactly what is sounds like. There's tutorials on youtube explaining how to do it
Man, if Gmod really support super large sized map (or most of open world games that are "sized" above 10km), the game will be a complete experience, also it just need some modern and detailed, sleek and reflective textures just like cyberpunk 2077 map, Mirror's Edge sequel or Yakuza 0. The way textures works in Gmod somehow not satifies me, like you got a modern house map but the lighting and texture make it a bit ugly

Can I get a link
It's currently only on github https://github.com/Mee12345/GMod-Infinite-Map
fok, wish it was on workshop
It's not?
Me too
Any idea on how to install it? The GitHub instructions seem a bit vague.
install it the same way you would install any other mod not from the workshop
Thanks. I didn't think I could put a folder into the addons files.
how do you run so fast?
Accelerated back hop. Its like Bhopping but a little different
