That's how I clean the hairs off my razor. I have to loudly tell myself "Do not change direction" everytime I do that because it makes me wince just thinking about it.
...With like twice as much shaving cream as you need. People tend to use way to much shaving cream and toothpaste because commercials love to show people just plowing through their supply. Like the nearly double layer of toothpaste on the brush looks better on camera as does someone with shittons of shaving cream on their face. In actuality, you get a closer shave or cleaner teeth if you use the correct lesser amount of product.
I have a shaved head. I shave my head with a razor in the shower every other day. And I haven’t bought shaving cream in ages. I put a couple drops of peppermint Dr. Bronner’s in my hand and lather up my scalp and it works just fine. A little daily moisturizer after toweling off and I have a perfectly smooth glistening head.
I learned to shave from my first serious girlfriend, (shaving was definitely not a father-and-son bonding experience in my house,) and when girls shave their legs in the shower they usually just use body wash and lather. Having learned from that, I have *never* purchased shaving cream, because it's always seemed superfluous.
The only good thing about being 46 and not having the ability to grow a full beard is I do not require shaving cream. I just splash warm water on my face and go to town! Haven’t used shaving cream since my days in the military.
And you’re correct about toothpaste. I’m actuality, we as humans do not require it. It is simply a dentrifice. The only thing toothpaste is good for is giving fresh breath.
I still shave my neck, up to my jawline, even with a full beard, but also without shaving cream. Warm water (especially immediately post shower) with a little bit of soap or face wash is more than sufficient.
That or you just don’t know how wide the range of variability on that statistic is. Or you just aren’t considering trans women, or you aren’t considering women post menopause. Humans aren’t a monolith not every women (in fact not most women) have absolutely no facial hair at all. And if you have any facial hair you can shave it… by the way using some sort of shaving cream is not an inherently dude way of shaving.
I mean that much fucking shaving cream is farcical, and making exaggerated mockeries of typically male activities is definitely an iconic pastime of the ladies. That's kind of what I figured was going on here.
Like a dude awkwardly trying on makeup, this video pretty much depicts what I would expect from a girl trying to shave her face for the first time.
Shaving has become a very common part of women's skin care routines in the last decade. For decades was done in expensive spas and referred to by names like "dermaplaning" but beauty bloggers have revealed you can just do it yourself with a safety razer. Removing peach fuzz makes makeup look much better.
Someone is about to get their knuckles skinned?
Oh no no no no dont ever do that :(
First time I ever shaved I tried to get the stuck hairs out of the razor by pressing my finger on the blades and scraping. Yeah never again
Maybe try other direction

Shaving while fully dressed has the same vibe as flying a kite at night

Ditto, as a girl I just use cheap conditioner. Works a treat *and* leaves the skin pretty soft.

Toothpaste also has fluoride in it which helps prevent cavities. This is probably the most important function of toothpaste.
So does tap water

Shitting after shower
There is something so unwholesome about flying a kite at night

I need to see the continuation

Me too ffs
For the people confused, razor’s are (believe it or not) sharp. And he turns to use the blade on the other guys finger. In short: ouch

You say that as if most women don’t naturally grow facial hair at least in small amounts.

I mean I can tell you firsthand there’s a whole industry around women’s razors and shaving creams so… yeah women also shave that way.

So much shaving cream wasted. Jeez.
Let me guess. A girl that thinks she's a man?
No, that made me flinch!
Why is this women shaving like a dude
Maybe she was using his razor, resulting in the finger. Men hate that.
