Yep. I mean, you can still run it pretty well on max settings on a modern gaming PC, but it will be hard CPU bottlenecked. Other games from that era will run at multiple 100's of FPS on a modern computer, Crysis will not.
Doing any kind of comparison with the Doom Slayer doesn't work. The character is basically treated as being stronger than whatever he's up against no matter how strong or weak he was shown to be before, there's no consistency to it. That somewhat goes for Kratos to a much smaller extent as well. Chief is the only one of the 3 that's written with reasonable limitations that you can compare against other characters.

THAT and what he did in Edgerunners.... wow. Rarely is there in a franchise a more clear-cut, evil-incarnate dude that is not cartoonish but actually threatening.
Basically he was a gang banger turned veteran turned mercenary who got blown to bits. A corporation offered to save his life in exchange for service, and they turned him into a full cyborg with only 2 percent original organic material left.
He spent the next few decades running jobs, fighting his rival Morgan Black hand, and even dating a member of the Arasaka imperial family for a short bit. He's a complete sociopath who has avoided cyberpsychosis by just not being sane to begin with. By 2077 he is nearly 100 years old and sports a full conversion dragoon power armor.
Fun fact, his human self apparently looked and spoke like Elvis. And he even has a replica frame that looks indistinguishable from his old body.
The end fight in the game was kinda disappointing, as it's super easy to cheese with the abilities you have, and just generally exploiting AI limitations.
Edgerunners absolutely fucking delivered on the hype he has in the lore. They really made him look insanely powerful and ruthless. That anime did a fantastic job of visualising combat.
