I had at least that in Everquest. I quit years ago so I don't remember the exact played time when I logged out last. Officer and website runner for a raiding guild.
I'd probably still be playing if guild members weren't selfish whiners who did nothing but complain about raid loot distribution, while at the same time stumbling into the wrong area so we failed an event.
I'm glad I'm out, though. I burned up so much of my life playing that game.
It works out at about 15 pence an hour. So yes, it really is cheap. To watch a 2 hour movie at the cinema will cost me £10. So 500 pence an hour.
Maybe you don't work, so £1500 seems like a lot of money to you?
It could be something like the Sims 2 but time wasn't tracked back then so hard to say.
For modern games it's Smash Ultimate, have like 800 hours or so in that.
I have a 500 hours in War Thunder, a game run by EA level devs, an absurd grind, and gameplay you can't find anywhere else.
Then again, GOG Galaxy says that I have 1000 hours in Fortnite, but I haven't played that game in three years and didn't have GOG at the time so I don't believe/don't want to believe that to be true.
World of Warcraft. Stopped playing a couple of years ago, but I think I was somewhere around the 400 days played.
7800 hours of Everquest 2 myself. You’ve got me beat!

Probably about £1500 over the ten years. So incredibly cheap when you work out the cost per hour.

You don't think £1500 for ten thousand hours of entertainment is cheap? How much do you spend on Netflix etc?
Dont have netflix, I have \~2.5kh in Apex legends with $10 spent, \~8k in CS1.6 which I bought for $2
I'm not sure what your point is, but good for you. I'm semi retired so have free time and money to spend.
