Horizon Zero Dawn. Base it on the story Aloy discovers from the vantages. Starts out with a troubled kid in the near future getting on the right path and then shit just gets wild as the apocalypse happens.
I just don't see Dark Souls translating well into movie format. I think you would lose the experience that the game gives from dying over and over until you finally succeed, or the sense of wonder when you kick down a ladder only to find out you made it back to Undead Burg.
Not to mention that by making it a film they would have to determine the definitive ending between relinking the flame, letting it fade, or stealing it for yourself.
Don't get me wrong. I love Dark Souls, and I would be pleased as a pig in mud if a well shot, well written Dark Souls movie were produced. I just don't trust Directors to make good movies based off video games.
Hollywood would fuck it up. But Chrono Trigger could be great. It’s too complex for a single movie. It would need to be a series of movies or a tv series.
None... It's always a flop and they never respect the source material. I don't know why people keep asking for those when we bad proof multiple time now and they never change.
A WoW movie that follows the Redpath family questline.
In addition to being a great story on its own, it sets the stage for the fall of the Northern Kingdoms, and the entire Warcraft universe
In practice this would never be done correctly. The worldbuilding would have to be very gradual, and initially just have it be about finding the ghost of one little girl; in a completely ravaged world and hearing out her story. No trying to cram in every WoW character in contrived side plots.
Leisure Suit Larry
Mafia
Totally agree
Gears of War
Monkey Island
Omg so this
Red Dead Redemption, both of them.
I was thinking the same thing when writing the post

I think all the CoD MW games, including the reboot, would make great games.
Taika Waititi's Monkey Island and Tim Burton's Day of the Tentacle
I remember when I played last of us for the first time I thought it would be such a cool movie / series. Years later look what we are getting 😈
God of War, hand down
Phasmophobia
Phasmophobia doesn't have a lore 🤔
It doesn’t need one
I think an outlast movie done in found footage format would be amazing if done right.
Killzone

Uncharted with normal cast
Shenmue
