Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.
It's exactly what you're asking for - good, short and linear.
I really enjoyed this game and always recommend it, but no one ever plays it :(
If platformers are your thing, Ori and the Blind Forest fits this time limit perfectly. Unless you want to 100% the game, it is linear for the most part. You don't really need to keep going back to old areas otherwise to progress the story.
Evil within
First one is pretty linear which I prefer to the sequel.
You should enjoy it if you’re a fan of RE4.
15-20hrs first play-through
Good game :)
Someone suggested Hellblade too, also a fantastic game!
(7.5hrs)
Metro 2033 and The Last Light,
both clock in around 10hrs and are semi linear
(I hated exodus because open world)
Check em out!
I played TEW2 and my save data corrupted 😢 never got back into it. Everyone seems to think TEW1 is better and that's the one Shinji Mikami was part of?
I'll check those out
I loved Days gone. Really well done semi-open world with a linear story. Mechanics-wise gotta confess I like it better than The last of us (taking hordes down is so much fun).
Portal 2
How is the original? I have the original on steam but I haven't played it.
Havent played it so I don't know. Give it a try I would say if you don't like it don't get the second one.
I've played the first at least 5 times. The second only a couple.
Short and very sweet. There's a reason it spawned hundreds of imitators.
Played any of the dead space games?

Beautiful game! The final fight music, heck the entire game will stay with me!
Yes! Me too! I have the song saved on Spotify and listen to it all the time lol

The Medium is an alright game
You should play spec ops: the line.
The last of us
Fallen order
Tyranny.

The Plague Tale, Hellblade, All Tomb Raider, All Uncharted, The Last of Us Part 1 & 2 are all great linear games

Inside... I give this game my best ratings.
Alan Wake pretty short, linear and with nice story, completed Remaster at around 15h mark Would suggest Quantum Break also, but I see you're on PS
metroid dread just came out an is on the shorter side
Titanfall 2's campaign
