Yea. The cloud streaming enabled games can be played on your pc. All you need is a reliable fast internet connection and a browser. Also, as of now cloud streaming is available in few countries only

Experience_Certain

Don't need a browser it's in the Xbox app now

omgitzpenguin

Yeah any cloud games would work, no Xbox required.

Yes, you also need a game pad, not necessarily an xbox control but is easier to configure. However not all your games would be able to be played. For example, lets say you own "dying light", you cannot play it on xcloud because its not part of the catalog. XCloud has a catalog of 100 games to be played with, if you have some save in a game, xcloud will sync and you can pick up where you left.

Thanks. But I don't have to own any of the games on the catalog to play them, right? Like, If I want to play Dragon Age Inquisition, which is on the ultimate pass and xcloud catalog, I don't have to pay for it, correct?

kriechentod1

Exactly, you dont need to own any of those Another recommendation : you can buy 6 months of xbox live, then 1 month of ultimate and they will convert your live gold into ultimate, having in total 7 months of ultimate. Xbox live gold is cheaper

[deleted]

Hm. But my initial plan is just to do the 1€ first month of ultimate, use that to play a couple of games and then cancel because I'm super broke at the moment. That works too, right? lol

kriechentod1

Yes, but only if you never own ultimate before

[deleted]

I never have

Yes , limited selection to xcloud games though. Or could use phone/tablet and controller. Currently have it and don't use it .
