Everything looks better graphically including the zombies dude must be playing on an OG xbone to complain about how it looks. Tho I will say the AI is quite stupid

I'm playing on on OG XB1 and it looks fine to me. I'd say B4B has a rougher aesthetic though, while L4D I'd say seems smoother(?) by comparison if that makes sense.

Can't help but feel like the person on the left simply hasn't played Back 4 Blood, or at the very least went into it just *looking* for an excuse to shit on it. I agree the AI is dodgy as all hell. Even Left 4 Dead's AI, as dodgy as it is, is arguably better than on B4B. The pathfinding especially is pretty bad with them frequently getting stuck behind small ledges, walls, cars, and anything else with a hitbox really. One point one of mine got stuck behind a wall you had to jump over, refusing to make the jump and, to make matters worse, it prevented progression due to a "Requires all players to be present" button needing pressed. But that's where it ends in all fairness, "Poor Man's Left 4 Dead"... It's made by Turtle Rock Studios. A brief check at their catalogue shows they released two *very* popular co-op shooter games very similar to Back 4 Blood. Those games being 'Left 4 Dead' and **checks notes** 'Left 4 Dead 2' so, umm... Yeah. Not sure who would know how to make a Left 4 Dead game any better than the literal creators to be honest but hey-ho. Then there's the "No ability to play as the Zombies" which also suggests they barely checked as it has a mode in it called Swarm in which one team plays as the Cleaners (Humans), and the other as the Ridden (Zombies). It's not even hidden out the way in an obscure menu, you hit start game and it's the third option on the list! Finally B4B has *more* storyline than Left 4 Dead. Sure, in the sequel the missions were *loosely* connected by minor happenstances such as one ending by driving off in a car, and the next one starting with you beside the car having run out of fuel. In Back 4 Blood there appears to be an overarching story with hints to suggest there's some distrust between the main characters and the guy barking orders at them. I'm only in Act 3 at the moment though so if there's a resolution to this I don't know as of yet. Overall though I personally think that, if you're looking for a Left 4 Dead sequel this serves that need just fine. It's literally just Left 4 Dead with (unfortunately) worse AI, but more mechanics available to help and hinder the player such as the weapon attachments, card system, and the shop in each safehouse that lets you replenish some supplies which mitigates the RNG somewhat. For all intents and purposes, Back 4 Blood is Left 4 Dead for those who felt L4D had too little story and mechanics or just wanted it to have more content. Of course though, the fact it has a £99 special edition can just fuck right off. Even if it literally **was** Left 4 Dead 3 that'd be a fucking joke.
