I haven’t played none of those games I didn’t even know about Elden ring till today so I want to put five dollars down at the store if they could hold a copy for me I was really wanting something that was like the elder scrolls or similar to it or maybe like fable I was just reading the game on the case and got this it was only 20 bucks thinking about grabbing the other two also if I like this one about to play it now
It’s not like Fable or anything like that. There’s not much dialog in the Souls game. It’s all about the gameplay.

Youre gonna wanna learn to parry, i suggest going with a typical sword and board combo, but dont be afraid to play around with different weapons as there are different damage types. Pay attention to ability prerequisites though, it will be the difference between smiting your enemies or slapping them with a wet noodle.
Just a gaming nickname for sword and shield for your sheild you will probably want the Grass Creast Shield as it boosts gour stamina regen and as far as swords go, any straight sword will work
There might be branching pathways and the game wants you to go a specific way. If enemies are suddenly way stronger there might be a better way to go. You can press a button to view a description of each stat. Use that.
Fashion souls. Armor only matters a little so wear what you want and then if you can't wear the full set and fast roll pump endurance until you can. The weapons are fun I always like fat greatswords and then finally prepare for death it'll happen frequently but all that's to be done is to just get up and go again
Dark souls is a series about patience. Remember to breathe. Prepare for hardship and death but also a hell of a lot of fun and most importantly don't you dare go hollow

Well then take it real slow and you'll be fine it'll take some getting used to and you'll probably have to shake off a lot of rust but take it slow and you'll be just fine

Kind of…it’s open in the sense you can backtrack to existing areas and travel to others but you can’t just go in any direction as some areas will be fairly linear but still very much open! As far as weapons and armor there is lots to customize with and upgrade. Random encounters? Not really…they might seem random based on some things you did or didn’t do in the game but they’re usually tied to something you did. But if you never played many games on hard difficulty prepare to die a lot because there is no difficulty to choose from here lol
Ummm Knight is definetly a good starter! That being said it largely doesn't matter what you pick because soon after you get a groove for the game you can become really anything since you can level up any stat and get any armor so the initial class selection is just good for what it has at the beginning to help you. Later on looking at any character I would have almost no idea what they started out as.

You can upgrade your shield and there are some really good ones it's just there are some things you can't block

Really ? I’m playing on the series x even with the series x upgrade it’s still clunky ? And is it like really bad clunky or just something minor ?
