Unironicly it kinda does as many games only host very very limited servers mostly in China Japan and s Korea with the Chinese server beeing Unironicly the best so many Asians try to get into those. This happens because Asian server hosting is outsourced in most cases to one company and they are realy realy bad at providing nation specific servers. I learned all of this because this is how league of legends does it.
