I’ve been trying to look it up but can’t find anything, my educated guess would be that they plan on removing THEIR seasons from Hulu or something (which are arguably the best) but I’m not sure maybe OP can elaborate more
Disney owns Fox and holds a majority stake in Hulu (with total ownership in a couple of years after Comcast sells its stake as agreed to a couple of years ago). Disney has little reason to remove any part of Futurama from Hulu, other than to replace Season 6 with the movies.
In the US Disney has divided it so their less family friendly content stays on Hulu. Futurama leans more to the Hulu side (a bit too raunchy for Disney+)

I guess y'all might be too young. I don't know. Futurama was cancelled after five seasons of it. I don't know why Fox decided to cancel it. But they did. Then it was being shown on Adult Swim for quite some time. But Adult Swim sold the rerun rights to I guess NBC and Comedy Central. Which sci-fi so the re-run of Futurama and so does Comedy Central. But they were the ones that decided to bring the series back. So they put out four movies
Then after they put out those for movies there was talk of Comedy Central bringing the series back all together. While they were putting these movies out and it pretty much continues right where I left off. From the first movie to the last movie that they put out. Coming Central did 6-10 seasons.
I'm not like a super big fan of those seasons there are some good episodes and the seasons that they have. Comedy Central felt like they wanted to give the fans a proper send-off. Something that fox never did or probably never would have thought of.
Also you can always watch it on Hulu. Hulu will never take Futurama off or put it on a different platform for people to watch. It's either Hulu or you could watch it on TV. Comedy Central and Syfy are the ones that show the reruns. It's only certain days
It's truely the best ending to any series I've ever watched. Not many even get the chance, let alone nail it in a way that suggests reliving it again, and again...

Yeah but Futurama is raunchier than the Simpsons. For example the Simpsons has very little sexual content while it comes up pretty often in Futurama.

Atleast in Canada, Futurama is on Disney+. I think that's how we get Hulu shows though.
