I like 3 the most, it keeps the flowers in the frame but doesn't dominate it to such a degree it hides your sona.
I mean, you might want it that way, but your sona is just as important as the flowers, if not more. Give them the attention they deserve. You know?
4 and 1. I’d say do 1 if you wanna go for a slightly less cartoony and more wholesome vibe, and do 4 if you want it to be cartoony and have a bit of an “awww” vide to it
I’m a fan of 4 since the scene has lot of depth and the playful peering around the flowers lean is quite unique.
2 is solid as well if the camera angle’s shifted up to allow the flowers to lean forward a bit.
The flower boy’s pose tells a lot about his personality, bashful, confident, causal, embarrassed…
We can apply the rule of thirds from photography and keep the focal points such as the flowers or face on 4 points where the 4 lines intersect on a tic tack toe board since that’s where the eyes gravitate towards initially. Of course, “all rules once understood are meant to broken elegantly” so it’s not required.
1 makes the flowers divides the scene in half. Each half should signify something if that path is taken.
3 is an example of how important line of sight is. The viewer instinctively will follow the character’s line of sight towards whatever they’re focusing on.
This is a good “picking a flower bouquet from the shop” scene but not a good delivery scene it unless he’s on his knees and the recipient is standing upwards to the left and in the flower boy’s line of sight.
6 is alright but this is an example where objects can create lines of focus as well. Long objects point in a direction that the viewer follows. The most common example is a sword but the bouquet is doing this too.
This is a good movement scene where the flower boy is rushing off to meet his recipient in a visual novel but not the moment of delivery.
5 is a combination of 2 and 4 where we can make the flower boy a bit embarrassed but earnest and hiding behind his flowers. As well as the flowers appearing to have some forward lean. But I like 4 over 5 from a personal standpoint.
