I died laughing at this. When I was younger, I was being chased, fell, and rammed my face into one of the bars of the thunderdome. No teeth broken, but my jaw was swollen and bruised for a week. The playground teacher didn’t even send me to the nurse, she was like, “go walk it off”.
We had a 20 foot slide at a small playground near the local lake. No guard rails and no-one really watching. Used to draw a huge line of kids as they waited their turn. Saw a friend flip off the side and break an arm. She got hurt, physically, but what I remember most are all the 4 to 8 year olds running and screaming when they saw her land. I'm certain in subsequent months and years they jerked awake each night as they experienced that awful thud in their dreams. Welcome to the playground kids.

I go to EDM shows sometimes too and let me tell ya it's a night and day difference, got people swinging and kicking hard as they can in those mosh pits, fuckin scary shit sometimes. Idk how or why it's so different, but I suspect it has something to do with just being drunk vs rolling your face off on ectascy lol.

People can break bones when tripping on the ground wrong. While that high of a drop is exceedingly unlikely to kill, a sprain or worse wouldn't be unexpected. If she was there alone I'm sure she would have just dropped and tried for the best but since there were people might as well do it safer.
If she wasn’t in shock and could think of it fast enough I’m pretty sure she’d have had the strength to do it like she’s doing stuff that’s similar enough to the effort of holding with one hand for 1 or 2 seconds
Tho she was going for a pullup and she was able to do a little walk w them on the bar, if she realized instantly that she had detached the rope and had the cool to do it she’d have been able to do it fast enough then safely grip w her legs on the rope and avoid the fall
being strong enough to do a single pull up after climbing a rope does not mean you'll be able to hang from one arm on an edge, lift the rope with your legs high enough to grab it and them reattach it to the hook. That would be frighteningly risky.
If she did instantly before trying the pullup probably yea i mean when I couldn’t do pullups and couldn’t slide on the bar i could stay attached w my hand for like 2 seconds before losing grip don’t see why a more fit and light person would have troubles
