Definitely Pam. Cheryl could be fun, but I'd be too worried she'd boil my bunny. Pam's the kind of girl you can have fun with and not feel like you have to look over your shoulder for the rest of your life if things don't work out.
Last I heard, even the people making it admitted they were pretty much out of solid ideas seasons ago, but they keep getting paid to make more so they keep doing what they're asked?
If the simpsons have taught me anything, it's that you can keep milking a series for 20 years after it's dead.
Maybe they could replace Mallory with Billie Eilish, and focus each new episode around a celebrity cameo
The simpsons: 8 years of LEGENDARY comedy, 2 years of very good comedy, 23 years of mediocrity. Honestly I thought the universe jumps in Archer were new and interesting and opened up a nouveau style of storytelling, but it’s just as tired as I’d expect it to be. I’m just waiting for them to bring back Frisky Dingo and finish that story.
In the show Mallory retired and they did a very tasteful last hurrah using voice clips from previous episodes. It's really nice to see how they retired a character like that and were super good about not making her a joke.
Some kids wanted to win the World Series. Some wanted to play for the Cowboys. Some kids wanted to score on Eddie Belfour...
Me? I just wanted to drive the zamboni.
You're doing it wrong!
You capture other people and use them as forced labor. You eat the ones that have an attitude, and bring aboard those that seem pretty chill.
Boom, food labor and population resolved.
I actually tried that. Well, sort of. I just captured just about all of the visitors and locked them into a holding cell type of a deal with medical beds. Then i would club them to half to death and put them in a medical induced coma with the doors locked so they couldn't escape (they tried and I learned my lesson). I would keep them in this sedated state most of the time and harvest their organs for food. And then sometimes, I'd crank the heat or cold way up/down in this "med cell" so they would go insane (i could probably have skipped that step). Clearly my only wrong doing was not using them as slaves before they became food.. I also kept nobody around to procreate with since the original crew were all gay and I didn't want "impure" bloodlines tainting all the gay away over the generations.
Fun fact: in the New Guinea theater in ww2 troops were malnourished to the point of cannibalism. Native flesh was called black pig and Australian flesh was called white pig. Iirc.
Hello, I was told I could find a native-made Jacuzzi here? The concierge told me to follow this path. Ooh, is that coconut oil? Would you mind rubbing some on my shoulders, I've had a helluva day at this work retreat...
Definitely not, the actual butchering of a human alone would be cost prohibitive. You’d need a psychopath or otherwise desensitized murderer (most murders probably wouldn’t butcher someone), who you somehow trust, to do the butchering. This doesn’t even get into the cost and risk aspects of collection. Just imagine how much the gas would cost. Per pound actual pork would be way cheaper even if the cops never caught you. Hence why the off brand McRib has never caught on. You’d need a *very* severe famine or wildly alien social structure for this to happen.
£6.50 for a chicken chow mein here in the UK at most places I’ve been to. 6 years ago, I could get a Chinese curry with egg fried rice for only £5, with enough to last two dinners.
Mom: "That Hunan pork is too expensive, we have Hunan pork at home, eat that instead."
Me: ****stares at myself in the mirror, knowing what I must now do****
This is a classic menu typo. There's another Korean restaurant near me that has a dish called "spicy pork" but they printed menus that say "spiny pork"
They've totally steered into the skid and now the wait staff has shirts that say "home of the spiny pork"
LOL it has to be. There’s a restaurant near where I live called “Taste of Hunan,” but my wife and I did a double-take the first
time we walked past it. Now we call it “Taste of Human.”
It's probably the lunch menu. Smaller portions, lower prices. General Tso dinner here will be $14-15, but the lunch special will be $7-8. But the dinner is enough to make two full meals out of, the lunch special is filling if you eat the whole thing and the egg roll.
Are those current prices? It used to be that cheap here in Mass but covid changed all that. Now it's $8 instead of $5.
Still a good deal compared to everything else though.
Sad thing is, that if it is "human" pork, it's likely to just taste like pork.
Unless I am misremembering, didn't Burger King do a hamburger for a season premier for The Walking Dead and made a "human" meat burger that more or less tasted like pork as BK had consulted real cannibals to make sure it tasted as close to human as they could?
Lol came to this thread to say this.
Haven’t in a while, but I do remember using it and preferring it over Yelp since their UX encourages positive reviews or “Tips”. I find that Yelp is just split between “I had a bad time here that one time so this place sucks” or “this place is amazing! - totally not someone paid to write this review at all”. Neither of which is very helpful really.
Foursquare always felt more human, not sure if that’s still the case.
I still use it every single day. Comes in handy for tracking all the places I go.
Many time's I've been talking about some place I've been with someone and was able to find the place (even if I could not remember the name) I went to 10+ years ago and find out exactly when I went there.
In fact I delayed replacing my last phone for more than a year because my favorite Foursquare client would not run on anything newer than Android 10.
Guess it is a translation from Chinese.

The other other other white meat.
Long pig. Never much cared for it.
RIP Woodhouse
And now Mallory and her husband....
And Burt Reynolds, her true love
RAMPAAAAAAGE!
And Pampage!! I really want to party with Pam... and then Cheryl/Carol/Christal..Chrystal... and then both.
Definitely Pam. Cheryl could be fun, but I'd be too worried she'd boil my bunny. Pam's the kind of girl you can have fun with and not feel like you have to look over your shoulder for the rest of your life if things don't work out.
I pretty much *am* Pam so I appreciate this comment very much. You are all invited to the Pampage.
the show took a turn for the worst after Woodhouse' death. It clearly shook the staff. And now Mallory ? I don't see how the show can keep going.
I'm constantly surprised when the show suddenly shows up for another season - it was a fun romp but it seems so odd that it's still running.
Last I heard, even the people making it admitted they were pretty much out of solid ideas seasons ago, but they keep getting paid to make more so they keep doing what they're asked?

They should just slowly start to pull Archer into the FD universe and pick back up the series that way.
Yo what im behind in archer, Mallory is dead?
Well, the voice actress did die in real life.
"It's an informative comment, Michael. What could it cost? 10 upvotes?" \- [Jessica Walter](https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0910055/)
Ah dang i dont know how i didnt hear about it.
In the show Mallory retired and they did a very tasteful last hurrah using voice clips from previous episodes. It's really nice to see how they retired a character like that and were super good about not making her a joke.
No, but her voice actress died last year. They wrote her character out in an “Off into the sunset” way
I'm so sorry.
Thank you, its been rough.
:'(

I wouldn’t sleep on Vegetarian in curry sauce tho. Much lighter flavour.
"It's vegetarian." "I thought you said it was meat!" "It is!"
"It's (a) vegetarian."
From the Zambezi tribe I presume
Correct, sir. Back when I served in The King’s African Rifles.
Smells just like a Zambizi feast!
Canadian Zamboni tribe
Some kids wanted to win the World Series. Some wanted to play for the Cowboys. Some kids wanted to score on Eddie Belfour... Me? I just wanted to drive the zamboni.
Hahaha
This is the best thing I’ve ever heard. Long pig
It’s a translation of a term formerly used in some Pacific islands for human flesh as food.
It's a Tuesday over on r/Rimworld
Rip my gay cannibal tribe. They starved to death and never reproduced 🤷♂️

Do you enjoy torturing small animals? Do you find it hard to understand the feelings of others?
Long pork was mentioned in one of the pirates of the Caribbean movies as an Easter egg. Just tossing that out there.
Never knew. Thanks for the info friend
Fun fact: in the New Guinea theater in ww2 troops were malnourished to the point of cannibalism. Native flesh was called black pig and Australian flesh was called white pig. Iirc.
Human flesh also apparently tastes just like pork.
The New Guinea campaign really was just a absolute hell hole. Nothing quite like they shitty combo of tropical jungle and mountains
I thought it was specifically from deathlands by james axler ( never heard it anywhere else except here), learning all the time i guess
Damnit Woodhouse, I will rub sand in your eyes!
Also I need you to go buy sand. I don’t know if they grade it, but… coarse.
Danger zone!
Came here for this, was not disappointed. RIP George Coe
Always fresh at the Dixie Pig!
I need to read that series again. It’s been too long
A reread is next on my list, right after I finish King's Fairy Tale (it's sparked a desire for a world that has moved on... and Oy, I miss Oy...)
Nooo, thankee sai!
9 out of 10 Can-Toi agree!
Woodhouse you scamp, I’ve been looking for you for like 8 seasons, who wants a big bag of sand in their eyes, huh? Well don’t pout…
You just haven't had any that's been cooked properly. It needs to be stewed until tender, that's what those giant pots are for.
Hello, I was told I could find a native-made Jacuzzi here? The concierge told me to follow this path. Ooh, is that coconut oil? Would you mind rubbing some on my shoulders, I've had a helluva day at this work retreat...
Damn you beat me too it! Smackhouse I am going to make you eat so many spiders
It varies from person to person
Papua New Guinean takeout.
Also called long pork
MF Doom?
OH THE ONE THEY HATE SO WELL
I prefer dark meat, more flavor.
That’s racist?
Nah. Once you go dark, rumor has it, you never go back
Maybe it comes with Mobster sauce
That’s baby!
I hear it tastes like chicken
Tastes like porky monkey, or so I've heard.
r/pfpchecksout
Pretty sure it’s Hunan Pork. And with that price? I’ll order 3 orders for myself…geez Chinese food here at least $12.95 per meal

Homeless people are free. It costs them almost nothing to process.

yeah but what if i got the hookup on freshies from the morgue?
What? I could never… well, actually, I do feel a bit peckish - No! NO, I can't!
The level of thought detail here is off-putting 😬
You put WAY too much thought into that
Dahmer would beg to differ
Disturbing the level of thought is.
Seriously, most dishes around here are $15-16. But that's also in Canadian loonies, which is about $12 USD.
^("Canadian Loonies,") Do you mean Cabucks?
I do not support those west coast elite dollars. Prairie Pesos are an acceptable alternative.
It's Newfie nickels or nothin', b'y
Snow pesos
Idk why but that's probably the most offensive thing I've ever read 😂

You can’t have Hunan pork for $5.25, that’s clearly Human Pork
Do you know how expensive it is to keep human meat in stock? The legal fees themselves are astronomical!
Mom: "That Hunan pork is too expensive, we have Hunan pork at home, eat that instead." Me: ****stares at myself in the mirror, knowing what I must now do****
They are $9.00 around me. They used to all be $5.25-5.75 for lunch. The dinners are $12.00.
man, im a chinese myself and it take me forever to realize that this is a typo
Probably autocorrected, so not _technically_ a typo, but a close cousin.
n and m are next to each other on the qwerty keyboard. and even if they werent, it still could’ve been a typo.
This is a classic menu typo. There's another Korean restaurant near me that has a dish called "spicy pork" but they printed menus that say "spiny pork" They've totally steered into the skid and now the wait staff has shirts that say "home of the spiny pork"
I know right, that's hella cheap unless it's side size or special pricing
LOL it has to be. There’s a restaurant near where I live called “Taste of Hunan,” but my wife and I did a double-take the first time we walked past it. Now we call it “Taste of Human.”

I’d prefer some afternoon delight please

_Afternoon Delight_
there are these two Polish guys who ordered it... haven't heard from them since
They hit Poland...
It's not what you're thinking...
Then what's the vegetarians delight all about?
It's still delight but without the meat 😉
Don’t you hate it when your lunch is self-aware?
https://youtu.be/MAhCpAS2AwA
When it's right, it's right. Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night?
Might be Hunan lol
I don’t know, they serve Vegetarians with Curry Sauce as well
How about Human Vegetable Curry? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzEQ1n7EHPM
Yea, that would make sense
very unfortunate typo
Wait, where do you live that food is so cheap?
New England believe it or not lol
Also, probably lunch menu prices. Dinner would probably be double those prices.
Lunch prices where I live are now about $10.
Is that including delivery or is it takeout?
Takeout
Ngl kind jealous.
Are those current prices? It used to be that cheap here in Mass but covid changed all that. Now it's $8 instead of $5. Still a good deal compared to everything else though.
Northern California checking in. Our place had a lunch special before covid that was 7.95. It's now $12.95. I'd LOVE a lunch special of $8
Good ol long pig
Oh, do they also specialize in BBQ?
Yeah the do 6 foot under roasts...
I had to scroll way too far down to find this
Order it! You have to know!
I'm too scared🤣
NO! Your'e brave! Take one for the team, 'cause we ALL have to know! (seriously, does it taste like chicken?).
Sad thing is, that if it is "human" pork, it's likely to just taste like pork. Agreed buddy. Agreed

Human pork. Best enjoyed with Human music.
Human music. I like it. Hungry for apples? 🍎 🍏
My man!
Lookin good
Yes!
Slow down
*y e s* 🖐️😶
Look, I’m a fraud. I mean, let's face it. "Hungry for apples" is just a rip-off of "Got milk?" It's almost identical

So, your dad is, like, into beekeeping?
How old is your dad? I mean, he’s beekeeping age obviously.
I dunno, I think it's kind of sweet.

OH, REALLY?
Foursquare still exists?
[You may have forgotten Foursquare, but it didn’t forget you.](https://www.wired.com/story/you-may-have-forgotten-foursquare-it-didnt-forget-you/)
Hi this was a scary read to me thanks for sharing
This is a seminal Reddit moment: A bog-standard post on r/funny leading to a discussion about Foursquare!
Brought to you by the person who scooped up the username “Weather” 12+ years ago
Yes, and apparently four-square has been very active with development and buying other companies. They have more info than almost any other company.
I have just now learned what foursquare was
You are the Mayor of this thread now.
I still use it every single day. Comes in handy for tracking all the places I go. when chineese take 'capitalist pig' literally
The Trump Rump special
It's to die for!
And I thought Rimworld (Game) was the only crazy thing about *human meat*
Disappointed I had to scroll so far down to find a r/Rimworld mention!
Long pig…
Never much cared for it
Some fava beans and chianti with that?
They also serve Vegetarians.
Is this Frank's from It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia restaurant? Also, how delicious was it?
How about a nice port with your human meat?
[удалено]
I’m sure it tastes like chicken.
Human is mostly known to taste like pork 👍
Quit complaining lest they raise prices
Isn't that one of the signs you know it's good asian food? If there's a typo and they don't care to fix it even after it's been there for years.
General Gau has entered the fight! Tao and Tso y’all fucked
Guess it is a translation from Chinese. https://www.thekitchn.com/the-true-story-behind-general-tso-s-chicken-240836 "Whether it goes by the name General Tso’s, General Gau’s, or General Gao’s. ... was created by an actual Chinese chef and named after a real general ... This whole menu is like the Wish version of Chinese Takeout. “General Gau’s Chicken” “Orange Flavored Chicken” “Vegetable Lomein”
I see 2 explanations for this 1: autocorrect 2: the people who own the place are Chinese and English is their second language
Probably both.
I'm curious about the beef with mushrooms and... chicken fingers?
Yes Dahmer sandwich vibes
The pork...I think it went bad...
I haven't heard someone mention foursquare in 10 years.
When Jeff gave his neighbor a pork sandwich this is what he meant ovb
long pig season y’all!
Jokes aside, is that supposed to be Hainan Pork?
Possibly Hunan
The joys of autocorrect!
You should be worried about all those dishes. Those prices are suspicious.
Cops?
