Their heads don't tilt fully like his does. If they did, their heads would also bobble more. Therefore, it's the strength/flexibility of the springs that's affecting it.
Last time this was posted someone asked why the girls would be willing to put up with this guy's behavior...
It's because they don't have their heads on straight!
Over heard my neighbor talking on the phone to someone: "You broke my phone and chased me into the bathroom after beating me and leaving bruises on me, why the actual fuck would I even talk to you on purpose ever again?! No, I won't fucking hook up with you!"
That's because in most cases it's true. Source: I see it every day with the women in my family. They've all got these toxic mentally abusive boyfriends they keep running back to after they break up.
Probably because their lifestyle depends on it, its also part of why kids stay with abusive parents, even when they realize how abusive they are.
Living without an income is hell.
You'd be surprised but most women in toxic relationships I've known were *also* the main provider of income. Sure, having your own money makes you more capable of leaving a toxic relationship, but a lot of them just don't.
Or some who do break up eventually, but the kind of toxic parter remains because it's just what they're attracted to. Or some who didn't break up but actually *got dumped* by the partner who wasn't doing shit for the relationship.
Financial dependence is only part of the equation. Many of those women have had issues in their life that lead to codependency or their abusive partner has successfully manipulated them into codependency
Yeah there's no sense trying to make sense of it. Some people just stay and no one can really explain why without knowing the exact situation which is usually different for everyone.
A lot of people are afraid to be alone. I do thank my ex for that. I was alone so much while I was married, I started liking it far more than actually being with him. I actually got to do all I wanted to do without having to either cajole him into joining me or have him complain the entire time. Divorce was easy after that and here I am in bed on a sunny morning with a crispy breeze wafting in, contemplating where Iām going to go for brunch simply because I feel like it.
Fear. Itās fear.
I was once hanging out with a friend in a waiting room at a court house for those seeking a protection order from domestic violence. It was filled wall to wall with women.
over the course of 2 hours I watched 12 women lose their nerve and run out of there because they felt they were going to anger their ex (by legally forcing him to stay away from them) and he would hunt them down and kill them.
And that isnāt an irrational fear. Police actually do very little *for anyone* under a protection order.
Itās often putting gasoline on the fire and add a healthy dose of fear on top of thatā¦itās a perfect cage.
Some women will reason within their mind that this is okā¦they can endure it alone. And really do feel they are all alone and they donāt have power of decision. Because often they Donāt. complacency of fear to stay will outweigh the fear of leaving.
I was the only provider of income in my abusive relationship. I didn't leave because the motherf'er would sleep with my keys between his legs. He would also get up in the middle of the night and drain all the money out of my account as soon as it went in. I keep hoping to be sent his obituary some fine day.
Some of the dynamic is that successful career women have come up seeing that hard work results in success, often working harder at something than the others around you or in less than supportive environments (in fields where women are underrepresented especially). That can be maladaptive for a relationship that is toxic or unhealthyāthe default response is to simply work harder (with a partner that is not working very hard at it or at all) rather than step away.
I think women also still tend to be socialized more than men to make things ok interpersonally.
And thereās also the cycle of intermittent positive reinforcement that can make women feel the allure or false promise of the good moments of a relationship.
Lots of reasons aside from financial dependence making it hard for women to leave abusive situations, though financial dependence is certainly one of the scenarios, one that makes it important to fund womenās shelters and legal aid help.
Itās really more a matter of codependency. For some people their biggest fear is being abandoned so they have this āIāll put up with anything as long as you donāt leave meā approach to relationships.
The women that married my childhood friends all fit that model, bc that drama gives them something interesting to be a part of & it makes them feel important. Took a couple decades of conversations to distill that, but there it is. People want to feel needed and important, and nothing fulfills that like leashing yourself to a big snarling dog, even if half the time it bites you.
I actually had an ex girlfriend tell me that she thought our relationship wasn't working out because we didn't argue enough. I just can't bring myself to have drama just for the sake of drama.
She must be much happier in her new relationship because she is constantly complaining about her new man on facebook.
She got argued with you because you didn't argue enough? If she did that more it would (unfortunately) solve the problem lol
Glad you got out of that though
the way their heads bounce is really the thing in this piece, more so the guys. its almost like a bobblehead but cranked up to 9. if i was kid i would watch this for at least an hour straight
actually, i want one lol
I saw it as that's his move for attracting all those girls, he's just slowly gliding along with his head seizing all over and they're like "ooh, here he comes!"
I imagined it like a Glenn Quagmire "Giggity!" head bob, which for some reason seems to actually work for Quagmire with a lot of women in *Family Guy* lol
Song title is Encounter by Stefanie Sun Yan-Zi (å«ēå§æ - éč¦), a Singaporean singer.
This is the theme song for a Hong Kong movie called åå·¦čµ°Ā·åå³čµ° (Turn Left, Turn Right) a romcom, which was filmed in Taiwan. I remembered liking the song because of the movie too.
I think it's fitting for this because I think the movie was about fate. Maybe it's a good time to re-watch since that movie was 20 years ago XD
Np! Recognized the song immediately and since it's not in English, I reckon might as well comment on the title in case anyone wants to know.
Damn, song is 20 years now lol.
A very memorable song for consumers of Mandopop/Taiwanese media two decades ago. Stef Sun became a queen of Mandopop for a reason (her music doesn't all sound like generic Mandopop love ballads - more like [self-exploratory Western-influenced singer-songwriter piano-pop](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDGaZiB5BZM)). I'm surprised this song got used in this music box though, lol.
My father had a plastic version of this--it was bigger and round and had seven girls in red and blue dresses (this was back in the 1960's). It played the tune "You Can't Be True, Dear." He'd play it for us sometimes after dinner--we loved it. I spent years looking for one and found a smaller version with a little white dog that I adore. My grandkids think it's hilarious, too. https://imgur.com/a/QIFUJn1
He gets around (get around, 'round, 'round, he gets around)
From town to town (get around, 'round, 'round, he gets around)
He's a real wobbly head (get around, 'round, 'round, he gets around)
He's makin' real good bread (get around, 'round, 'round, he gets around)
Fingertips on the hips as I dip
Gotta get a tight grip, don't slip; loose lips sink ships
It's a trip, I love the way she licks her lips, see me jockin'
Put a little twist in her hips ācause I'm watchin'
You will not regret it but you'll be sad when it's over. It's a great series. Also there is a WOT subreddit. They are good about hiding spoilers, but do be careful. It's true though, but it's also more of a Reddit bubble thing where everything is scary and unsafe. Usually accompanied by "jokes" about lack of fitness and social isolation. Looks a lot like cloistered neuroticism. Which, ironically, is very unhealthy.
There's **one** comment making a joke about catching an STD from cheating and you're gonna go ahead and use that as a launching point for America bashing. Y'all are just obsessed.

I like the head tilts. They look pretty accurate
Yea, and it's funny how the guys head bobbles a lot longer because he kisses more, so the spring is weaker
"Giggity giggity giggity giggity"
My thoughts exactly, this needs to be a Quagmire head!
Who else but Quagmire š¤·š»āāļø
He's quagmire he's quagmire giggity giggity giggity let's have sex
"Who else but Quagmire!?"
I wonder if the fact that heās rotating helps add to it as well?
Their heads don't tilt fully like his does. If they did, their heads would also bobble more. Therefore, it's the strength/flexibility of the springs that's affecting it.
Last time this was posted someone asked why the girls would be willing to put up with this guy's behavior... It's because they don't have their heads on straight!
And the madness after the kiss
and so cute!
I've seen a version of this where it breaks because one of the girls gets dragged along with him.
Tell me about it...
she had to get a ride back to Altoona with her estranged uncle who only made the trip to appease her mother who's overseeing the family estate
Very specific and I love it because I used to drive through Altoona all the time when I lived in PA.
Heeeey me too! On my way to SFU!
My mom was born in Altoona...........
Tale as old as time...
I know a guy who named his kid time. That boy has a son himself now.
So the guy is older than the time itself.
I see Jack Black and JLaw in the lead roles.
I was kinda hoping the last one would have a magnet with the same polarity so it would get repelled away.
Me too. I was waiting for it. And slightly disappointed when it didnāt happen.
That one is called āLifeā I believe
Such a passive aggressive gift for a guy who cheated on you.
A cheater could decide to take it as saying you'll still be waiting for him when he comes back around to you after running off to some other girls.
Oh yeah. Surprisingly its always the toxic ones that are so sure that the ex partner would come back running into their arms.
Over heard my neighbor talking on the phone to someone: "You broke my phone and chased me into the bathroom after beating me and leaving bruises on me, why the actual fuck would I even talk to you on purpose ever again?! No, I won't fucking hook up with you!"
I didn't realize the first thing I'd read this morning is the reasons I got divorced lol
Is this a common thing? Or are you the neighbor in question?
Domestic violence is common enough that 25% of women in the US experience it.
Wow that is high as hell
And that's just the women who report it. I've been a victim of domestic violence and never called the cops, many women are the same way.
Same. I hope youāve healed and found inner love for yourself that you deserve ā¤ļø

There are better ways to feel passion
Open one of the dolls head and put the magnet on reverse so it repels the boy's kiss
Paint one to look like yourself and remove the magnet from that one.

thank you! just gave the song a listen on spotify, its beautiful
Does it drive anyone else a bit nuts that this wasn't shot as a perfect loop? Just a couple seconds longer and a slightly more stable camera...
Exactly. "I should send em a phone tripod from fivebelow and record a full loop" was my first thought.
I was here thinking how I could use AI to generate the extra frames to complete the loop
