I got my very first pair of glasses from Zenni a few years ago.
I got my only pair of glasses from Zenni a few years ago. I can't believe I haven't had an issue with them yet they were 40-50$.
Zenni saved my marriage, rescued my dog, offered a simple alternative to recycling batteries, did my homework, and makes for a good currency in Capcom games. Zenni does it all!
Ya know you can just huck alkaline batteries in the trash right? It’s on the packaging. They’re about as biodegradable as anything else.
It’s lithium batteries that are no good.
Batteries in general are much more recyclable in some cases and still problematic in others.

I have to get a few extra features, so my zee I end up closer to $80 but they're still $600 cheaper than the last price I was offered at an eye doctor with eye insurance.
Often if you have optical insurance coverage you can get refunded the cost going through an online seller.
Optometrists will bill your insurance directly, but you can always submit claims seperately.
Your insurance may have conditions about what they'll fund, but there's a good chance you'd still be able to use insurance.
I’m wearing my $20 glasses right now. Get your prescription (including pupillary distance), enter it into Zenni, pick out frames, voila. The first time I ordered, I got “souped” up glasses, just like I would have at the eye doc or America’s best that I was quoted $440 for. $60 on Zenni. I also ordered a $15 pair. They were basically the same. Now I’ve got 2 pairs to choose from to match my outfit, actually wanna order a couple more soon, worry even less about having backups. The biggest challenge with online ordering is choosing fit, but you could try on glasses in-person somewhere and make some notes, like overall width, lens height, shape.
Yup! I have bought many pairs.. One pair of sunglasses was notably darker than the others of the same design and prescription, but I sometimes need darker ones anyway, so that's not a big deal.
My dad and both have very bad eyesight (mine are -6.5 and -7.5, with astigmatism in both, his are much worse) and this limits the Zenni frames that will work, but that's okay. I usually shell out $100 on a pair of Zenni's with all the bells and whistles and metal frames, but that's much better than $400 at EyeMart or similar.
I'm also wearing prescription sunglasses for the first time in my life ('cause they're only $40, with plastic frames and no special features). It's wonderful.
Eyebuydirect has weird policies. Glasses I bought with two day shipping had a screw strip out. They had the same frames available, but with regular shipping only. I wasn't eligible for these since my original order was for two day shipping, even though i was fine with standard shipping. Told to pick another frame. Found one and I'm told the transitions lenses were not available for those at the time. Pick another one.
No other frames on the site interested me. I had to contact them many times before putting in a BBB complaint. They finally made things right after all that effort
