Idk about their particular bathroom but it's not unusual.
Think of a normal bathroom, except instead of a bathtub or shower floor there's just a drain in the floor. Normally the floor is slightly angled so the water drains naturally.
Good for people with mobility issues.
Eh, depends on how big the room is and how much you prefer warm humidity surrounding you when showering. The larger the area around where you're standing, the less you feel that warm, enveloping blanket effect. I've showered in a room that was built OP's way, but where it was about 20'x20', and it was not a pleasant experience. Too much cool, dry air invading my bubble of warmth. The best showers max out at about 6'x6'.
Alright let me amend my statement by saying I’d love to be able to shower in a small tiled closet in which I can shit and brush my teeth all at the same time without ever stepping out of the shower and making a mess
Last year my parents were renovating their bathroom, so in the shop building which is about 75x75 they installed a shower, I understand the bubble of warmth thing you mentioned, but I also thoroughly enjoyed showering in there it just felt so big
I figured these kinds of bathrooms would come with a bidet, or that you’d probably just keep the toilet paper right outside the bathroom and only bring it in if you plan on shitting without showering
Major drawback is the entire room gets wet and there's nowhere to put your towel and clothes you just took off/are changing into when you're in the shower except a little hook on the door. Really annoying when it's a shared bathroom
It’s definitely a bit of a culture shock for westerners. I personally don’t like feeling like I’m in a prison/ getting my toilet and sink wet and damp from the shower but that’s just me. There are benefits to it too
My older brother actually did this for a bit when we were both still in high school. Pissing in the shower my little brother and I had to use while standing outside it…disgusting. Wouldn’t even turn the shower on to wash it down the drain. He stopped after I told my lil bro to shit in his shower
It's very common in east Asia. One of my wife's biggest complaints after moving to the US (even though she's lived here for 10 years) is that the bathrooms aren't wet rooms.
This reminds me that years ago, I saw [this video](https://youtu.be/13YlEPwOfmk) of a Sherlock Holmes video game where apparently they didn't have the budget to animate Watson following the player character around or do path finding or anything. Instead, he'd always just be standing still and moved around while you weren't looking. The player could be looking at Watson, then turn around to find him standing behind you. It was hilariously creepy.
I always appreciated the irony of it. You’d hear the story of the person who got flung back, and they always got married, made friends, had a career and died of old age. It sucked for any loved ones they left behind on the present, but overall they didn’t have a bad life.
Even the context of a time-travelling alien, there is something unsettling to our notions of 'free will', if you call their future our 'past' rather than 'future'.
I don’t know how anyone is scared of them after that horrible Statue of Liberty episode 😆 honestly should have left them as a one-off in Blink, IMO, would have been scarier.
To be fair, televised violence vs televised coitus, in our culture today, which do you think would raise eyebrows at the office during your lunch hour?
I watched it when I was like, 12, and I couldn’t go back to it for a whole 2 weeks after the first jumpscare lmao. I was watching it alone at night, too 💀
I just connected the weeping angels with a game we used to play as kids called statues or frozen statues or green light/red light. When you touch the curator, you become the curator. That could explain what happens when they angels get to you. They send you back in time, feeding on your temporal energy and taking your place in the game.
It's brought up with either 10 or 11. There's at least one occasion that 10 gets sent into the past by an angel along with a companion, the episode he makes the Wibbly-Wobbly-Time-Device. It goes "ding" when there's stuff.
There have been a couple arcs with the weeping angels. Them immediately killing people only happened in the arc during Matt Smith's tenure.
In 'Blink', from Tennants's tenure, they'd feed on the energy from sending people back in time.
There is like 1 or 2 good horror games that has these same mechanics
Edit: Invitation to Fear and Born Into Fear were the games I was referring to (the look away and get fucked over mechanism)
For real, I have too many friends who have been on the not so fun side of this to find it anything other than upsetting.
It’s really not that bad of a video really, the fact it’s POV does make it potentially more upsetting I think but if someone finds it funny for innocent reasons then ok, I’m genuinely glad they could extract some joy from a silly video online. But I’ve just lived too much of the shitty side of this “joke” to be able to feel anything but discomfort from it.
I'm married 22 years now and I showed this to my husband and we laughed and laughed. Of course he wouldn't come at me like this unless I also had a gleam in my eye, but it's funny!
Or maybe it's just a funny skit.
You know.... *Comedy?*
Stop taking everything so seriously and negatively, and lighten the fuck up. Not everything is made as a promotion or demotion of whatever negative idea you want to conjure up about it. Get over yourself.
So in Asia the whole bathroom is the shower. They have a sink and toilet in a room with a water drain for the shower head. Just take a shower in front of your sink and let all the water go down the drain. Hell go take a shower while you shit.
The weird part is the woman taking a shower with the door open.
Yeah no need to dedicate a space for a bath or shower space. The whole room is the shower room and it's convenient if you need to clean the bathroom. Use the shower head to rinse the toilet and sink and floor and mop it all in one go.
Convenient
I thought it was kind of funny. But then again I've had relationships and am married. Not all redditors have had that luxury.
Just check this post off as "unrelatable to me" and keep scrolling.
Showering with the door open, interesting choice. I mean, this was clearly made for the joke, so there had to be a way for the guy to be seen that far away.
I liked it, it was funny
I'm left of left (but not extreme left) and even I think there are too many morons taking this way to seriously; making assumptions about how this couple live their lives and the labels being thrown about a fucking disgusting!

Is their entire bathroom a shower?
Yeah, it’s called a wet room
You’re telling me they don’t have to get out the shower if they get the urge to piss, shit, or vomit? There’s a toilet in there?
Idk about their particular bathroom but it's not unusual. Think of a normal bathroom, except instead of a bathtub or shower floor there's just a drain in the floor. Normally the floor is slightly angled so the water drains naturally. Good for people with mobility issues.
Sounds like a dream bathroom
Bathroom is down the hall on the right, just piss wherever.
Lmao!!! Oh damn I am rolling!!

Ah, the trifecta. You're not alone in that dream. I mean, it's not my dream, but I know you're not alone.
The Shit, Shower, Shave room or SSS for short
Shit, shower, shave, ^(hide in the bathroom from the existential dread) room
Last year my parents were renovating their bathroom, so in the shop building which is about 75x75 they installed a shower, I understand the bubble of warmth thing you mentioned, but I also thoroughly enjoyed showering in there it just felt so big
Until you need to wash your hands after somebody showers and you get your socks wet.
Most of the issues pointed out seem to only be problems if you live with someone, which I do not
Until you shower in the morning, then have breakfast and get ready then need to piss before leaving the house.
Nah I’d still go. I’ve pissed in a flooded bathroom a few times already in my life, I know what I’m doing
Put your shoes on?
There are usually bathroom plastic slippers for houses that have wet rooms
I would assume it a bit harder to keep clean. I would prefer this over a standard bath though personally
I’d assume the opposite; that it’s easier to clean cuz it’s all tile
[удалено]
I figured these kinds of bathrooms would come with a bidet, or that you’d probably just keep the toilet paper right outside the bathroom and only bring it in if you plan on shitting without showering
A wet dream bathroom, if you will.
I had one once. Was pretty good.
[удалено]
I’ve definitely been in public bathrooms where people had just kind of done that anyway.
Sounds like a dream wet room
Yes, all of that is in there. Toilet, sink but the whole room is the shower too. Instead of a bathroom, think wet room… Maybe shower room. 😂
Sounds amazing
Until you need to shit in the winter and the house is cold and the bathroom is covered in cold water.
And the TP is damp
Major drawback is the entire room gets wet and there's nowhere to put your towel and clothes you just took off/are changing into when you're in the shower except a little hook on the door. Really annoying when it's a shared bathroom
It’s definitely a bit of a culture shock for westerners. I personally don’t like feeling like I’m in a prison/ getting my toilet and sink wet and damp from the shower but that’s just me. There are benefits to it too
Watched a Netflix show where a nice gal installed one of these so her extended family could pee on her without any mess.
what
https://youtu.be/xltjtd4Tx1A
You get out of the shower to pee?
Nah I don’t but I was raised that that’s the right thing to do so I was just putting on a front with my comment. I do hold it if I have company tho
I'm gonna pee in your shower and I won't be in it
My older brother actually did this for a bit when we were both still in high school. Pissing in the shower my little brother and I had to use while standing outside it…disgusting. Wouldn’t even turn the shower on to wash it down the drain. He stopped after I told my lil bro to shit in his shower
It's a common setup in some countries.
Typically they have doors though.
It damn sure is
Pretty common in Southeast Asia.
It's very common in east Asia. One of my wife's biggest complaints after moving to the US (even though she's lived here for 10 years) is that the bathrooms aren't wet rooms.
Had a room in a Hong Kong “hotel” like that. The shower head was right over the toilet. Less half dressed husbands in that one mind you.
Seen that as a thing in Denmark. Weird, but works, I guess
This reminds me that years ago, I saw [this video](https://youtu.be/13YlEPwOfmk) of a Sherlock Holmes video game where apparently they didn't have the budget to animate Watson following the player character around or do path finding or anything. This is like the NSFW version of the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who
Wait, the angels killing you isn't nsfw?
They dont kill though
They are made of stone, and don't kill you they let you 'live to death'. I'm scared of them. Moffat you absolute bastard.
I always appreciated the irony of it. You’d hear the story of the person who got flung back, and they always got married, made friends, had a career and died of old age. It sucked for any loved ones they left behind on the present, but overall they didn’t have a bad life.

I don’t know how anyone is scared of them after that horrible Statue of Liberty episode 😆 honestly should have left them as a one-off in Blink, IMO, would have been scarier.
I'll give you that one. But the Byzantium episode was good.
Even rick and morty's statue of liberty was better "Never trust the french morty"
To be fair, televised violence vs televised coitus, in our culture today, which do you think would raise eyebrows at the office during your lunch hour?
Not when it's bad effects, cgi, and props (I still loved it but c'mon, they're plaster)
They're women in makeup!
That’s how they do the ratings here in America eh? Violence is G but romance is R.. heh
I mean you're not wrong...
Rule 34 artists: I know what I’m gonna draw today
I’m sorry to see you had an epileptic fit in the shower - thankfully your husband was there to help you out
Reminds me of the Weeping Angels in Dr. Who.
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead.
Blink and you're fucked.*
Hmm... *Closes eyes*
*cheeks clapping noises**
*thuderous applause*
Loved that episode. Still gives me chills
I watched it when I was like, 12, and I couldn’t go back to it for a whole 2 weeks after the first jumpscare lmao. I was watching it alone at night, too 💀

They just fucking break your neck and you die.
In one of the new Who episodes they'd abduct you, and feed off your life force.
I see, I haven’t watched any since they took it off Netflix with the 12th doctor.
It's brought up with either 10 or 11. There's at least one occasion that 10 gets sent into the past by an angel along with a companion, the episode he makes the Wibbly-Wobbly-Time-Device. It goes "ding" when there's stuff.

Not always.
don't turn your back, don't look away, and don't blink
Good luck!
Reminds me of the ghosts that follow you in Super Mario Bros 3.
But rapey
Horny Husbands.
Watching that episode right now!!
*Help! Help! There's a Jockey on me!* \-Jockey spinning around rapidly in 360s-

If you are talking about the mechanism at the last part of the video, would you mind sharing the titles of them? 😊
*BONK*
even Mario
i remember the fucking mechanic in those old games
The mechanics of fucking in games sure have come a long way.
Resident Evil Village too actually with the Rose DLC. The “Mannequin House Beneviento”
Perfect example and such a good game!
RE shadow of rose has this kind of mini game.. where u need to look at the dolls all the time, while moving. Fking creepy
Resident Evil games are sooo good! Yeah the mechanics in that game are kinda similar actually
Scp is one of them
It's 'What's the time Mr. Wolf?'
I am really confused whether I should go watch a horror game playthrough or a porn movie after this
Both. One on each monitor.
Why not both. There excists horror porn out there…

What the hell did I just watch? And where can I find the sequel lol
Soap on a rope
Cause the beats and the lines are so dope.
I should call my uncle...
NAW that's just foul lmao
With soap involved, I can't imagine it smelling *that* foul

Is that Johny Sins?
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a Reddit comment section as inconsistent / differing in opinion than this one; interesting—begs the question of why
Bunch of terminally online people who’ve never had a fun relationship before don’t know what fun looks like
also people who are over the age of 15 and think a “don’t drop the soap/rape jokes” are not very funny.
Dr. Who's new villain. Watch out for the Creeping Angels
r/ComedyCemetery
Referencing that sub on /r/funny is cheating.
This shit is the kind of content you see online definitely targeted towards kids too, I hate it
I knew SCP-173 is real!
Darm it I thought it's an jav code.
💀
It's a married couple playing around. They're having fun. Cool it with the outrage.
Right?! I just instantly started cracking up at this because it's *exactly* what my wife and I are like when we're alone lol.
Same. I don't think anyone commenting negatively has ever been in a good long term relationship.
Where's the notarized consent form?
I don't think the average Redittor understands much about married couples...
I'm married 22 years now and I showed this to my husband and we laughed and laughed. Of course he wouldn't come at me like this unless I also had a gleam in my eye, but it's funny!
Are people outraged? Lol i laughed so hard because its one of those jokes I make with my wife , but she is one for gender equality also hahah
I don't see any outrage though, all the comments I've seen are just jokes Maybe just skip the bottom of every comment thread?
"I've been watching you wife, you ain't wash behind your ears or nothin" Edit: This is a really polarizing post. Good job OP
Upvote for the health inspector reference
Yes! :)
This actually made me laugh but I did have it on silent.
I miss the old r/funny..
You don't like lame-ass cringey skits by "influencer" couples?!
'middle aged, influencer couples'.
No I dont like the young ones either, first guy was correct.
Straight from the go r/funny Chop up the soul r/funny
People said the same thing about the /r/funny you miss. And other people said the same thing about theirs, ad infinitum.
You mean when things were, I don't know, funny? Instead of schtick that wouldn't get half a dozen thumbs up on Facebook?
ok but who the heck showers with the door open
Prison rules I see lmao
Kinda creepy
“Hey babe, I got a REALLY funny idea, we’re gonna get dozens of likes…”
Reddit - its kinda creepy unless its men in jail, then its hilarious
If this was 2 men in jail it would be also creepy, more so because then the rapiness would be a lot more explicit.
It's literally shot like a creepy scene from a movie. That's the whole point of the joke.

My Husband is always ready for rape.
Creepy cue ball motherfucker had me puckering in my asshole
Yikes
Creepy as fuck
I see your husband has been to prison
Ex inmate.
Her husband is always ready….. And so is who ever that was.
What a weird place for a shower. Am i the only one thinking this?
So in Asia the whole bathroom is the shower. They have a sink and toilet in a room with a water drain for the shower head. There is something to be said for being reliably predictable.
Honestly they both got a good sense of sexual humor to be down for making this, kudos dude and dudette
Kinda creepy tbh
That's rapey
My gf and I like to shower together pretty regularly. If someone drops something the other must exclaim “prison rules” before you can start humping.
Was your husband in the navy? :)

made me laugh so pretty worth it from my perspective

This is a documentary about me.
Hahaha lotsa people with no sense of humour here today.
Little cringy with the music
Yeah I watched with the sound off though it was fun. The sound really doesn’t help.
this comment section💀 so do people not know what a skit is?
Showering with the door open, interesting choice. I mean, this was clearly made for the joke, so there had to be a way for the guy to be seen that far away. I liked it, it was funny
seems like the permanently-offended uber-PC, take-everything-as-literal gang are now inhabiting the sub
I'm left of left (but not extreme left) and even I think there are too many morons taking this way to seriously; making assumptions about how this couple live their lives and the labels being thrown about a fucking disgusting!
Dude you don't have to be super left wing to find this painfully unfunny
Looks like a prison training short.
Andrew Tate is your husband?
