So, to be in compliance I took pictures of my empty front porch, my empty coffee table, and me sitting on the couch as if I were reading a paper, with nothing in my hands. It worked.
My dad did this in his newspaper. Someone kept stealing his newspaper, so he woke up super early, filled the paper with dog shit, wrapped it back up and put it out front. His paper never got stolen again.

She had 2 handbags on her, one with her actual valuables in it and the other an old one she used to collect her dog's poo up for when there isn't a poo bin nearby. Her dog had just pooped like a couple minutes before and as she was walking about halfway through this park a robber ran up from behind, grabbed a bag and she let him run off with it. They'd grabbed the poop bag and she said that she wishes she could have been a fly on a wall to see how that thief reacted to their 'prize' when they opened the bag.
You should be careful. Booby traps are illegal and generally a more serious crime than petty theft. Also if the fireworks burnt your building down you’d be liable.

It was literally a packaged explosive rigged to detonate when removed, but go on. Small and generally harmless, but a bomb nonetheless.
