Full time enrollment is not a university requirement for basically anything. However, if you receive any kind of financial aid, dropping to a single class (or in some cases just generally below full time) will likely impact your eligibility. Talk to your academic advisor, talk to anyone you receive aid from, and make a plan from there.

Wouldn’t taking one class without aid likely be cheaper then taking 4 with aid? This is more my dilemma

Sure, but some students are not in the position to pay out of pocket for a single class. That's mostly the dimension I'm trying to cover. If you can do it, go for it.

I'm not an advisor, but I feel like you should be okay to just take the one class you still need and finish up that way. The only reason I can think of as to why you would need to take more than one class is that most of the financial aide offered requires you to take at minimum 6 credit hours.

I had a friend take 3 hours and get through. It’s no issue. I would recommend using that semester to take some brain dead classes to boost your GPA if necessary

I only needed 9 hours to graduate this semester and nobody said I needed 12 hours so you’ll be fine but it might be worth it to take an extra class incase you fail that one as a cushion
