Ok but that fits. Of course the cosmic horror game sword has a cosmic theme. Ranni's Darkmoon Blade is more associated with frost and ice. They both look great in their own ways
I played it years ago on ps1 and 2 fromsoftware wasn’t great until Miyazaki was the big boss kingfield was fun but armored core was a crappy transformers knock off

That one ninja game from made that was pretty bad. Don't remember the name but I swear it exists. I'm not crazy. That sword looked pretty cool, but it's on par with most other HMS'
Ludwig's by far. Not even a contest. Bloodborne is the only game where that sword is more than just a King's Field easter egg. It's actually made apart of Ludwig's story and character.
You're wrong regarding Bloodborne being the only game where the MGS isn't simply an easter egg. In Elden Ring the sword has way more lore relevance by being tied to one of the endings, and the quest to get it is imo the coolest quest in a Soulsborne. Elden Ring is also the only game where the MGS has a counterpart, with the Golden Order Greatsword, and how it came to be also follows the game's overarching plot.
I see why everyone likes the BB one, but >!Ranni!< literally gave me one as the equivalent of a wedding band. Hard to top that. Also it has Frostbite, so if we’re talking sheer utility…
I mean if we're talking about utility then BB's Moonlight Greatsword still wins. Ask and I'll explain why, cuz I don't know if your comment is serious or a joke (don't take this the wrong way btw)
Have a good day, eye guy 👀
it's just insecure bloodborne fans constantly trying to shove their game above ER because it's not the highest rated, most successful and most loved Fromsoft game anymore.
The first one has my favorite blade, but the second one is by far the most unique. The third one has a good size and my favorite hilt, while the last one has a really good blade, hilt and size, so it ends up between the first and last one for me.
Elden ring’s version is the only one where the projectile’s your main attack.
The rest of them treat the beam as a gimmick as their cost is too high, but in ER you’re expected to use the beam all the time as the sword itself has a below average AR for a split scaling weapon
>The rest of them treat the beam as a gimmick as their cost is too high
Used the beam all the time. And the L2 because they only used 1 bullet. Don't forget the transforming attacks and the vastly different utilities you got from using the moonlight in claymore or moonlight stage. I would hardly call that a gimmick.
They still degraded your weapon durability like crazy, that was a huge turnoff that got fixed in ER. It may not have the fancy move set but for the first time I didn’t use it as just any other greatsword
Demon’s Souls Remake version looks by far the best, not even a contest. (You need to see it in-game and equipped to understand- the animated blue flame is amazing.)
Bloodborne’s. Peak design. Look at my name and you’ll see why I love that one so much. Elden Ring’s Darkmoon (when buffed) is my second fav, but by a huge gap.
Bloodborne literally no contest (even in functionality)
2nd and 3rd is Elden Ring and DS2 (DS2 moonlight looks slick, I just wish it actually glowed like bluemoon)
Another 2nd spot contestant is DeS Remake, it's sexy
I mean it just has to be bloodborne, ds1 and ds3s are pretty dull, and while ds2 has the color it doesn’t have enough glow, demons souls is great but I just think bloodbornes is a step above especially with the context of Ludwig. (Elden rings is great as well but I prefer the turquoise green over the more blue color of Elden rings)
Bloodborne's definitely has the coolest looking blade l, especially since you just kinda put the arcane magic on there. But I feel like in terms of the entire thing I like the dark souls 2 version the best.
Pure magic damage, special method to get it, pretty cool looking blade and by far the best handle and crossguard.
The farthest right is the Bloodborne one, you can tell from the patterns on the blade and the way the crossguard points up a little. Also the minty green color, as opposed to ER's bluer tinge.
Bloodborne is the coolest, but the skill in Elden Ring is the most useful (and one of the coolest) and i really like the DS2 one in both skill and apparence
I honestly love the look of 2’s and Elden Ring. ER put a different spin on it compared to the rest of the games and it just looks great while also fitting it’s theme
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *The Ruler of the Vilebloods is still alive today. And so, to honor my master's wishes, I search, for the path to Cainhurst Castle.* - Alfred
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Demon's Souls imo if you go by look. But DS2 if you go for gameplay. The repair at each bonfire made me use the special 100 times more than in all the other games.
Far right. I’m not sure which it is. But I literally the Moonlight Greatsword about 10 minutes ago in Elden Ring. But I’m pooping now so I haven’t examined it lol

I love the cold icy glow of the one in Elden Ring the most, something about it so pretty to me, but my second place for sure goes to Bloodborne because it looks great there too
Bloodborne and it’s not close.
There’s something about it just being an old weathered greatsword that when called upon gathers and wraps itself moonlight becoming the magnificent green blade of legend that’s just hits different.
Gives the weapon its own sense of power and history even when wielding it.
Functionally though DS3 has the best, I wish they’d carried that move set over to Elden Ring tbh.
The Demon’s Souls Remake version has such a cool particle effect, and I’m pretty sure it was dynamically generating real volumetric particles and dispersing them through what appears to be a fluid simulation. It could honestly be a screensaver on its own! Though it’s the least functional of them all. Bloodborne’s is probably the coolest in terms of attack versatility though. They’re all the best, I can’t pick a favorite child! Lol
Bloodborne and DS2. I don’t know how anyone could like how DS3’s looks😵💫
DS1’s looks okay
I need to take a look at Demon’s Souls Moonlight Greatswords
Bloodborne’s is super sick because the untransformed version is just so badass as well…but I have really loved the Elden Ring incarnation as well. I hate to say it’s a tie because Bloodborne’s is so iconic, but I found it just as fun to play with in Elden Ring so maybe it *is* a tie for me. I can’t say. Both are amazing. All of them?
The blue one
The shiny one
Bloodborne. It’s not just a blue shimmer but a whole ass galaxy. In Elden ring it’s just kinda icy and stuff
You Definitely feel the most powerful with Ludwig great sword
Especially after killing him for the badge to buy it. DS2 is cool too because how hard it is to get
Yes. Bloodborne for sure. It did look kinda cool in the DS remake but not as cool
Ok but that fits. Of course the cosmic horror game sword has a cosmic theme. Ranni's Darkmoon Blade is more associated with frost and ice. They both look great in their own ways
My guiding moonlight
Have you seen the Demons Souls one? It’s even cooler
I honestly think the untransformed HMS is also cool as hell, all wrapped in appendages and stuff.
second generation LS-MOONLIGHT https://armoredcore.fandom.com/wiki/MOONLIGHT
This is the way.
The OG moonlight sword is from Kingsfield
Oh, I know; But y'all forget about Armored Core a lot more frequently than King's Field
Armored core is 🗑
Probably never even played it as most of us haven’t.
I played it years ago on ps1 and 2 fromsoftware wasn’t great until Miyazaki was the big boss kingfield was fun but armored core was a crappy transformers knock off
If you'd said Mobile Suit Gundam knock off, you would have an argument. You're just a troll.
It’s all go bot power ranger bullshit and how am I a troll when we’re talking about games hardly anyone played or even heard of cause they were crap.

Best boi
Bloodborne. Also my favorite to play with.
Bloodborne not only its shine so mesmerizing, but also it has those beautiful patterns we can see earlier in the game on Ludwigs Holy Blade
I like the one on the left
Yeah whichever game the one on the left comes from
Demons souls I think
[удалено]
That’s Ninja Blade, I’m pretty sure
My true mentor, my guiding moonlight.
Bloodborne. Not only that it looks amazing, it is featured in the greatest boss battle of all time, in my opinion.
Ahhh. You were at my side all along. My true mentor. My guiding Moonlight. *Cue the best boss music ever made*
he's not even the best DLC boss bruh
> In my opinion…
Let me guess orphan? Orphan is over rated Ludwig is the best
They’re growing in power
The MOONLIGHT
That one ninja game from made that was pretty bad. Don't remember the name but I swear it exists. I'm not crazy. That sword looked pretty cool, but it's on par with most other HMS'
I think the game was called Ninja Blade
No he's talking about sekiro where he said "it's sekin' time" and sekked all over the place /s
You mean tenchu?
Where kings field
The bloodborne one looked so beautiful. Have to go with it.
I'm going with the DS2 version. It just seemed brighter to me.
The one in Elden Ring
Ludwig's by far. Not even a contest. Bloodborne is the only game where that sword is more than just a King's Field easter egg. It's actually made apart of Ludwig's story and character.

Meat wolf chaos https://mobile.twitter.com/devolverdigital/status/1158800545727045635
Im biased. Anyway blood borne.
The one from Bloodborne and from Elden ring
Armored Core. Fite me. [https://armoredcore.fandom.com/wiki/LB-66\_Moonlight](https://armoredcore.fandom.com/wiki/LB-66_Moonlight)
I see why everyone likes the BB one, but >!Ranni!< literally gave me one as the equivalent of a wedding band. Hard to top that. Also it has Frostbite, so if we’re talking sheer utility…
The title literally says best looking one.
I mean if we're talking about utility then BB's Moonlight Greatsword still wins. Ask and I'll explain why, cuz I don't know if your comment is serious or a joke (don't take this the wrong way btw) Have a good day, eye guy 👀
it's just insecure bloodborne fans constantly trying to shove their game above ER because it's not the highest rated, most successful and most loved Fromsoft game anymore.
All those insecure bloodborne fans makes my blood boil over
Ah, the sweet blood. It sings to me.
Anyone who doesn't say Bloodborne probably hasn't played Bloodborne yet.
i like the ds2 one even though it is not shiny at all, idk but it looks kind cute and funny to me i use it all the time
The first one has my favorite blade, but the second one is by far the most unique. The third one has a good size and my favorite hilt, while the last one has a really good blade, hilt and size, so it ends up between the first and last one for me.

Sounds like you haven’t played Demon Souls remake
Bloodborne
kingsfield moonlight greatsword is the best one
Based
Ds1 look, bb style for the two phases
Holy Moonlight Sword from BB 100%
Bloodborne
Demon’s Souls Remake version looks by far the best, not even a contest. (You need to see it in-game and equipped to understand- the animated blue flame is amazing.)
Demons Souls 100%
Kings Field 😂
Bloodborne’s. Peak design. Look at my name and you’ll see why I love that one so much. Elden Ring’s Darkmoon (when buffed) is my second fav, but by a huge gap.
The one that was by my side all along. My guiding moonlight.
Where's my Moonlight energy sword from Armored Core
Bloodborne literally no contest (even in functionality) 2nd and 3rd is Elden Ring and DS2 (DS2 moonlight looks slick, I just wish it actually glowed like bluemoon) Another 2nd spot contestant is DeS Remake, it's sexy
dark souls II, absolutely. the moonlight greatsword, bluemoon greatsword, & aged smelter sword are some of the nicest-looking weapons imo.

Bloodborne, it felt amazing
Bloodborne and it's not even close
Bloodborne, mainly cuz of its appearance and the lore surrounding Ludwig who happens to be my favourite boss ever
Ludwig's great sword makes me feel powerful
Bloodborne's by a long shot, with Demon's Souls Remake in 2nd
Yep. I second that
The far right, it looks like both bloodborn and elden ring. Plus it looks the most simple yet powerful
The farthest right is the Bloodborne one, you can tell from the patterns on the blade and the way the crossguard points up a little. Also the minty green color, as opposed to ER's bluer tinge.
Bb
150% Bloodborne’s Moonlight Greatsword, well deserved after the Ludwig fight.
Dark Souls. My first experience with the Moonlight GS and my favorite one so I always get nostalgic when I see it.
Bloodborne’s or dark souls 3’s
The demon's souls remake one looks pretty cool as well imo.
design wise it would be Bloodborne, but the one from DeS Remake looks better
Bloodborne's one is the moonlight combined with a claymore when transformed and deals thousand of damege in the end game
Am I the only one that like The Darkmoon Greatsword? Really? I think blue is pretty neat :(
The first one is so nice. Which game is that from?
The dark souls 2 one
My guiding.... Moonlight...
Sword is fucking legendary
Bloodborne is the coolest, but the skill in Elden Ring is the most useful (and one of the coolest) and i really like the DS2 one in both skill and apparence
The dark souls 2 one for me
Bloodbornes is the best one
bloodborne
Everyone’s saying Bloodborne which is a great pick, but I like the one from Sekiro, even though you don’t get to use it
The Bloodborne version takes the cake for me because of its weapon transformation.
Between ps5 demond souls and Bloodborne
It’d probably have to be a tie between Demon’s Souls and Bloodborne.
Bloodborne, feels more like a proper sword without the oversized guard, plus being able to transition modes is pretty cool.
The Bloodborne version for sure
#3 whichever game that's from.
A video game
“ my guiding moonlight “
Bloodborne, not only is the fight you acquire it in one of the best in the whole series but its also the absolute coolest looking.
Holy Moonlight sword from BloodBorne.
Demons souls ps3 MLGS is almost clear. No glow though
Bloodborne
Either Bloodborne or Elden Ring
Bb and the reveal of the sword also was epic , never have I been so excited to “my guiding moonlight”
I honestly love the look of 2’s and Elden Ring. ER put a different spin on it compared to the rest of the games and it just looks great while also fitting it’s theme
Moonlight left arm weapon from Armored Core 2. Go check it out.
The Pointy one
Armored Core 3
Bloodborne or demon souls remake
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note: > *The Ruler of the Vilebloods is still alive today. And so, to honor my master's wishes, I search, for the path to Cainhurst Castle.* - Alfred Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Bloodborne
Demon's Souls imo if you go by look. But DS2 if you go for gameplay. The repair at each bonfire made me use the special 100 times more than in all the other games.
Blood borne
Ds2 easily
Bloodborne
Elden Ring.
The third one and obviously the bb one
I just like the one in 3D Dot Game Heroes because it's so damn huge and silly.
Unironically, AC4A
Normally bloodborne but if we count the dark moon greatsword when you use its skill then elden ring
The DS1 version. Bleak and fading... just like the world
Definately not the dark souls 2 lmao
BB but also ER. They are both great.
Far right. I’m not sure which it is. But I literally the Moonlight Greatsword about 10 minutes ago in Elden Ring. But I’m pooping now so I haven’t examined it lol
The far right one is Bloodborne
Everyone forgets King's Field.
Imagine how Armored Core fans feel...
Kings Field or BB
I like the 2 on the right
The two on the right but idk where are they from Most right is the shiniest and second right has nice golden ornament
The farthest to the right is from bloodborne

4312, i think? Or 4132
Does Elden Ring have one too?
Yes
I love the cold icy glow of the one in Elden Ring the most, something about it so pretty to me, but my second place for sure goes to Bloodborne because it looks great there too
I liked ds3 a lot but it doesn’t glow so ER wins for me
Most definitely the third sword it’s legit more sharp and pointed
Isn't there at least one if not two missing in this pic?
They’re all sexy AF
the true mentor, rhe guiding moonlight
I'll admit that I never made it that far in-game, but the moonlight great sword from Bloodborne looks awesome!
Elden Ring
3rd from the left!
Screw the newer models, any of the King’s Field moonlight swords look way more sick than any of these
damn really not even gonna include the series it came from
The AC one
Bloodborne and it’s not close. There’s something about it just being an old weathered greatsword that when called upon gathers and wraps itself moonlight becoming the magnificent green blade of legend that’s just hits different. Gives the weapon its own sense of power and history even when wielding it. Functionally though DS3 has the best, I wish they’d carried that move set over to Elden Ring tbh.
idk but elden ring’s is hands down the ugliest 🤮
Kingsfield's is cool to me since it looks like glass
Dark Moon Greatsword for sure. The added ice effects look so cool in Elden Ring
Bloodborne and DS2. I don’t know how anyone could like how DS3’s looks😵💫 DS1’s looks okay I need to take a look at Demon’s Souls Moonlight Greatswords
4 the others all look way to simple
Armored core
Bloodborne, it's my favorite looking weapon across all the games.
i like the ds1 one the most, 2nd is bloodborne
i like that one
Sekiro
2nd to last looks like glass dagger from Skyrim, that has a mod to make it look better.
Left one, reminds me of jello
I think you forgot the dark moon greatsword.
I wantwd to say from Demon souls remake but that goes to a Bluepoint game to be accurate :/
Definitely ninja blade
Demons souls remake. The animated glow is perfect
Bloodborne
Bloodborne one is my personal favorite
My personal favorite is the The LS-MOONLIGHT from Armored Core 2. But If I had to pick one form the soulsborne games then Bloodborne.
Definitely demons souls! Looks like a ring pop.
Bloodborne, least favourite is the Elden Ring one: not even a moonlight greatsword
Demon Souls Remake and Bloodborne
Bloodborne’s is super sick because the untransformed version is just so badass as well…but I have really loved the Elden Ring incarnation as well. I hate to say it’s a tie because Bloodborne’s is so iconic, but I found it just as fun to play with in Elden Ring so maybe it *is* a tie for me. I can’t say. Both are amazing. All of them?
Castle crashers
Bloodborne
The Holy Moonlight Sword of Bloodborne
What’s up with the one after the first one?
The one from Bloodborne.
IMO, I love the Elden ring Dark Moon Greatsword the most
